Background:
"I reconnected with my old school toaster who always spoke marriage and love. Got serious in 5 months. I've met a lot of people from his end within this period. He shows me off. Introduction was done and wedding date fixed."
Issues: Traditional is barely a week away; yet she's bleeding and scared of the future because of her discoveries:
1. The husband to be has anger issues. Ok, he's all nice and good when in good mood. But once something triggers him, all hell is let loose. The trigger can be a simple missing his call(while at work/meeting). No amount of sweet talk or explanations calms him down.
2. The shocker is that he cheats/has a fuckmate living nearby. She discovered this with evidence from their chats and hasn't been herself. The chat is detailed description of their exploits right up to the present and future plans how they'll continue after he's married. (From same chat, the other lady is aware he's getting married. He tried denying it; when it didn't work he started making excuses/begging he'll change.
3. He doesn't want any third party intervention in their affairs, not even counseling.
She's scared of the future and yet feels stuck as court marriage is done already, most preparations have been done(publicity and most of other physical arrangements), both for the traditional and wedding.
Kindly give your mature advice; she'll be reading every bit of it. (Admin kindly push to front page)
Its always difficult taking such decision to forgive him and hope he'll change. However, in most cases they don't, a cheat will way's be a cheat unless he makes the decision with himself to let go off such life ... I mean why in God's name would he do all the preparations for marriage and still have access to his sex mate... Its best they both go for counselling, before proceeding with marriage plans... at this moment if he wants the marriage to hold let him do whatever the wife to be wants ... else call everything off
[quote author=Xenry post=101210507]I live comfortably and I cook comfortably, so do I still need a girlfriend? By the way, rate my cooking. The food is a combination of yam and beans. [/quote
So because you can cook, you don't want to procreate , I sorry for you. Change your mentality about women, you are not suppose to have a gf or wife because you need someone to cook or do your domestic chores..
This is a wake up call to all the state governors, who has been docile for too long waiting on the president, while their state is being ambushed by these people... Everyone is just tired of the incessant killings! I don't understand if the presidency is doing all this to push people to the wall , and therefore lead to a civil war... it really doesn't make any sense.
God bless the politicians that has been speaking up lately on this issue, they must not give up... Together we can win the battle once and for all. Regardless of our tribe,or religion...
Nigeria will be great again. Just a matter of time.
Nigerians need to learn this thing called boycotting... tomorrow people will still troop into that same back going about their business as if nothing serious happened...
Geonigga: I have sometime in February this year made a post of a lady I met and who refused taking my calls one certain night and which I did a post seeking for advise here.
Let me now go straight to the recent happening in the relationship with this lady whom I met in the church and who also live in the same estate with me in fact her house is not that far from mine though she is living with her aunt.
It happened that on Wednesday being the 21st of April, 2021, when I arrived home from work, it is my usual practice to call her and when I called her that very day, she took her call and told me that she is very hungry and her reason was that she didn't like what they cooked in her house. I have to invite her over to my house and she ate very well and even took a bottle of soft drink before leaving for her house that night which I also gave her a naira note in case she wants to buy anything the following day.
The following day being the 22nd of April, as usual when I came back from work around 6:30pm, I put two calls across to her which were made in different intervals, but lol and behold this lady I thought she was my girl friend didn't pick up the calls, I remained calmed and went to bed that night.
However, during the course of the night, around 11:30pm that night my phone rang and I took the phone to know who was calling, it was this my so called girl friend that was calling, I had to ignore the call.
The following day very early in the morning she called again but I was preparing for work and I didn't want anything that will ignite sad mood on me, I have to ignored her calls even when I was at the office.
Later in the evening when I was about leaving the office she called again and I picked up the call with a mild attention, she then asked why I refused taking her calls since, I replied her by saying that she started it, this lady has to immediately end the call and up until now she has refused to take my calls or call back.
Please I really want to know who is at fault here because she is now making it look as if I am at fault but as it is I have made up my mind to call it a quit if she can not step down her pride and apologize. I will appreciate you guys opinions on this.
First of all I don't see where or how she's cheating on you just because she didn't answer your call, secondly, its very petty and immature of you to intentionally ignore her calls, and when you now decide to answer the call you said she started it first... seriously?? You could have st least answered her call hear her out then meet up and have a proper one on one communication instead of letting your mind play tricks on you...
Arabmoniq: I am planning on getting a Samsung Galaxy S8 plus London used and I have this friend who is advicing me to go for the infinix note 8i of the 4gig RAM and 64gig ROM please phone experts in the house which one should I go for? you advice will help me make a good choice.
Samsung is better in terms of durability, if you're looking for a Samsung phone with high processor and battery life. Better get the A series of Samsung, its better to use a brand new Samsung phone than a London used one cause if the screen spoil oh boy you will spend the money use in buying the phone on the screen... except you're lucky sha ...just speaking from experience... so ill never advice anyone to buy London used Samsung phone.. Goodluck
TheUndercover: When is the best period to introduce a male or female child to sex education and how without making it seem too early or too late?
The world is rapidly changing mostly in a negative way. If you don't teach your child(ren), the society will teach them and in most cases in a destructive way.
Any advice?
Its best to start as early as when they are 3 years old.... try to explain to them in a way a child of his or her age will understand, you continue even when they get to age 5, 8, and 11... its a very important and shouldn't be neglected especially with the way things are happening these days...
How come there’s no other good cement manufacturer in this Nigeria? Like with all the billionaires in Nigeria they can’t produce a competitive cement market... na wa ok naija is bursted.
The only governor and politician that is embracing the fast wave of technology all over the world, others are still doing 1900 politics ... It's a good initiative, Well-done sir...

Only God knows how these gamblers sleep after blowing thousands on betting.

Gambling ain't worth it. Quit before it quits ur life...I think the Fed Govt should ban this shit because Gamblers are liable to die young and broke

Na wa for these bloggers and jobless people always looking for any opportunity to stir up hatred btw these celebs, I’m sure Burna meant that statement in his own terms not because he wanted to shed Davido but our dear fans will take it wrongly.
judetov2: I see no case here.... did he touch her?
I don’t understand if you people even process information before commenting. The guy beat her inside the vehicle. He could have just stopped the nonsense act, and pretend as if nothing happened. Instead the fool went on exchanging words with the lady thereby erupting his anger and beating up the lady. I hope the get him soon and charge him for assault...
Gerrard59: The country of a child's birth supercedes the wishes of his/her parents. I wish my child wins a Nobel prize in either physics, medicine or chemistry. However, if I procreate the child in Nigeria, the chances are way lower than if I do same I Switzerland.
True, environment matters in a child’s upbringing. However, that shouldn’t stop us as parents to implant and groom them with a positive lifestyle.
Duru9: Tomorrow this child will be this (Dangote) Tomorrow this child will be that (Bill gate) Y'all forgot that the child can still be (bandits, boko haram, ritualist, kidnapper, cultist)
Make una no de bring the idea of tomorrow child fit be this jare
At OP if she wants to leave you with the kids let her go Get a sister to take care of your kids for you Atleast you've got kids already no need to marry again just hustle and make sure you provide for them
Unless you too wan dey useless like their mama
I understand your view here, but let me ask you this... Is that how your parents thought of you when you were born? Like they imagined that you could be a terrorist badit or kidnapper in the future, I weak for you mehn...
heendrix: The matching complexion is wack. you guys would only give birth to charcoals in human skin.
Lol mehn you get problem oo. How’s their complexion your business, abi is that what makes marriage last? Abeggii you can see the smiles on their faces. They will be happy and fine together.
This man is just doing everything possible to earn back the trust of lagosians, after that protest, he really fumbled. But I commend all he’s been doing.
Nothing is just not working in this country sef , everything you have to provide for yourself... it’s now bad that even the rich that has money to provide securities for themselves aren’t safe, talk less of a common man, kidnapping is gradually spreading and gaining momentum like terrorism the government are acting confused, maybe until when they start kidnapping their children or they themselves. Then they will wake up to tackle this thing with any amount once and for all.
How are y'all doing? I believe everyone's doing just fine.
Please I wanna know, considering the rising cost of things in Nigeria, how much do I need to have a Modest Wedding?
I mean, i don't even have a million naira o.
I need your honest views.
cc:
Kindly help me take this to the promised land.
It all depends on the kind of crowd you want at your wedding. If you want strictly 100 people then for a modest one as you said, your budget should be at least 1m
