BRATISLAVA:

Why would they put on their masks? That's dumb of them. They are the ones with COVID-19. Why did they complain when they got on the train and French citizens immediately put on their masks?

I've not experienced racism, though. But you will always have people that have a problem with African hair.

It's better not to experience it because that shit cuts deep!

It's not all bed of roses studying overseas for Africans, especially Nigerians. We face different forms of racism in one way or the other. Nigerian students studying overseas lets please feel free to share the various forms of racism we have faced.

I am based in China and on so many occasions, some Chinese would rather prefer to stand than to sit next to an African on a public bus. The most annoying thing is that they worship Europeans and Americans.

On the metro, too! Covid has exacerbated the ugly trend you mentioned. These days some Chinese folks would quickly put on their masks on sighting a foreigner especially a black one. Thing is racism (covert or subtle) exists in every country; growing a tough skin and feigning indifference are two ways of managing racism.

I can bet some quids that bloke isn't gay in the right sense of the word. Considering his antecedents as an attention seeker, I figure he's either trying to cash out or trying to get into America by claiming he's being persecuted in Nigeria because of his sexual orientation.

Ericsdm55:
Testimony To The Glory Of God

I am sharing this testimony with you to encourage someone believing and waiting for the Lord to remain steadfast.

For sometime now my spouse has been battling with cancerous growth around her breast. To cut long story, she was on chemotherapy last two years and after then it was one drug to another.

Last year 2020, she started developing serious pain around her left armpit and it got worse as the runs down. The pain around her armpit was so much that we just didn't know what to do again. That evening we were having our devotion and I was led in my spirit to tell the kids to pray specifically for her. We continued like this for the next two days, laying hands on her specifically and declaring God's healing on her.

I noticed the fourth day she slept well with no complain of pain. So I didn't ask her, because at a point I just asked less, because of the emotional stress I often try to suppress. After a week she called me and showed me her chest, but the scary lumps was gone. Also, the excruciating pain around her armpit was gone as well. I am returning all praise and glory to God Almighty.

God indeed does answer prayers. I never visited any prayer house or miracle centre. I am not much of a church goer or a prayer warrior. I am not saying observing those things are bad. What I'm saying is; if you believe in Jesus Christ in your heart and confess Him as Lord and savior, then you are a child of God and have every access to God Almighty as well.

God also saves me from a serious financial burden in one of the worst time of the year 2020. I truly do not deserve this divine intervention and truly no body does, but the Lion of the tribe of Judah has prevail and overcame for me and you . Be encouraged, shalom!

I rejoice with you and your family for your wife's healing. Glory to God for all things. As I join multitudes of folks here to celebrate with your family, I'd like to urge to take wife to a doctor for medical checkups. Stay blessed. Shalom.

P.S: It's your testimony, loud it if you want. Ignore naysayers!

I also prefer ET, still shocked that despite Nairobi being my hub I don't fly KQ (Kenya Airways) wink cheesy

I've never flown on Kenya Airways. They might be cool though but ET is where my heart is grin. I find the fragrance in their cabins soothing. And perfumes at Bole Int'l Airport are cheaper than at most duty-free stores I've been to.

There are pretty, well endowed girls in China - they may not be as endowed as thick black chics are because they're not genetically structured to be like black chics. Take this from someone who has seen all there is to see in Chinese kpekus.

Celebrities / Re: Toyin Abraham Praises Husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi As They Mark Christmas In Dubai by chukxie(m): 1:19am On Dec 29, 2020
Congrats to them. I'm not trying to hate though but this issue of well-off Nigerians jetting out to Dubai to celebrate weddings, birthdays, breakups and whatnot has become a travesty. What's stopping rich Nigerians from 'catching their 'cruise' in some of the beautiful tourist locations in the safe parts of Nigeria? How often do we see or hear of Emirati people jetting off to Nigeria for a vacation? Sometimes I can't help thinking there's something fundamentally wrong with us as a people. We scream Nigeria is going broke yet some wealthy Nigerians would rather spend their money in Dubai than in Nigeria to help build our nascent tourism industry. What's more worrying is the fact that most of those 'Dubai addicts' have been to there several times already. Shaking my head...
