mprtuary:Na mumu dey worry you if you feel say wetin I write dey wrong! |
A Chinese national was arrested for illegal mining. My question is : How did he know where to dig for minerals? A local, a chief, a politician...must've done a shady deal with the Chinese citizen that granted him the 'rights' to dig for minerals. Some black people have sold their birthright to foreigners for peanuts! |
naijamanyoutube:Nice! Where's the link? |
The next war is going to be technologically driven - and chips are what drive technology! From rockets, drones, robots, hacking systems, fighter jets...all rely on semiconductors. The US. knows this and that's why it's doing everything it can to ensure American capitalist driven manufacturers of semiconductors do not compromise national security by building new semiconductors factories in China. Similarly, China is greatly aware of the roles of semiconductors in today's technologically driven world and that's why it is investing billions of Yuan into its nascent semiconductor sector. A few months ago, the Chinese government arrested the heads of the six largest government funded semiconductor companies for corruption - they were alleged to have misappropriated billions of Yuan granted to their companies to boost the semiconductor sector. Of a truth, the Chinese semiconductor sector is way behind that of Taiwan (TMC), and South Korea (Samsung). The US. is behind, too, but well ahead of China. So, the Biden's decision to protect America's semiconductor sector is a step in the right decision. Let me add if China takes Taiwan, it'll become the undisputed global leader of semiconductors! Go figure! And that is why the US will ensure that doesn't happen. |
naijamanyoutube:Give it a try. And if it turns out bad,you can always make another one. Good luck! |
You can make your own swallow. Look for yellow corn flour, or ground oats and for soup, buy some vegetables especially spinach, beef or chicken, ground pepper, seasoning..Swallow and soup don set! |
Subsidy or no subsidy, my question is why aren't our refineries functioning? If our refineries were functioning we wouldn't have to export our crude elsewhere to be refined, then have it imported! Nigeria is a blessed nation with cursed leaders walahi! |
cue64:Really? I was in GZ a week ago. Take care bro! |
cue64:My guy! You still dey area? I thought you relocated elsewhere oooo! I'm glad to hear from you? Which province / city u dey now? Keep in touch.. |
A beautiful and an economically viable bridge that would enhance businesses between SA and her neighbours. Way to go,SA! |
BentizilL:I've always tried to avoid this 'Tinubu built Lagos' arguement because it is total bollocks. Tinubu performed his constitutional duties as a governor. Was he perfect? Absolutely not! Did he enrich himself and his cronies while in office? Without a doubt. Now coming to this nonsensical notion that Tinubu built Lagos. Permit me to ask you lots some questions: 1: Where was Tinubu when Lagos had LSTC? 2: Where was Tinubu when Gen Buba Maruwa ( a Northerner) was governor of Lagos State? 3: How many universities did Tinubu build in Lagos? 4: Where are the bridges that Tinubu built? The most important bridge in Lagos (the 3rd Mainland Bridge) was built by Babangida. 5: Where was Tinubu when Lagos State was known for orderliness and cleanliness? 6: Where was Tinubu when Jakande was building housing estates all over Lagos? Most of the great landmarks in Lagos were built way long before Tinubu got into politics. Make una leave story abeg! |
Sweetvie:Nurse na good money oooo! May all the goodies God Has packaged for you in Australia come to fruition. Amen! Regarding Cue64. I don't think he's still in China cos he hasn't posted in a long while. He must be doing fine wherever he is. Alright, you take care. God bless! |
See sweat for Ice face! Gra-gra don do am something. Humility don hug am.
|
LOVEGINO:Sorry, mate! My deepest condolences to you and your family! |
Sweetvie:You're right. Well,China's just the way it is. The country already has about 1.4 billion people, that's a humongous population to provide social, health, infrastructural, medical ...amenities for. Granting citizenships to foreigners will be stretching the amenities extremely further, perhaps that's one of the reasons citizenships aren't granted. Personally, I'm not bothered about it because God has used China to bless me financially way, way beyond my imagination! Regarding permanent residency, I'm currently on a 2-year category. I'll apply for a green card next year because I have met all the criteria such as owning of a property (optional but advantageous to own one), being financially stable, having been married and have resided in the country for the recommended amount of years and having the stipulated amount of money 200k Yuan ($31k) that will be deposited into an account designated by the immigration department for a period of six months.. Above all, and most importantly, one must not have any criminal records..Things are looking good so far! And yes, I'm still in the ESL sector. Aside from that, I'm also into procurement services for clients in Nigeria.. How about you? What do you do for work? Did you get Canadian citizenship before you emigrated to Australia? All the best, mate! |
Sweetvie:Vivid memory you have! My daughter's now in third grade! Time sure flies, doesn't it? China isn't there yet in terms of citizenship status via marriage, and frankly I don't think it'll change anytime soon because here, in South Korea and in Japan, the concept of citizenship is defined by bloodlines. So here you'll find foreigners that are disgruntled about not being granted Chinese citizenships after being married to their Chinese spouses for a couple of years because they had assumed they'd be granted citizenships. And this has led to some foreigners, who perhaps got married for the wrong reasons abandoning their marriages because even with a Chinese spousal visa, one is prohibited by from working - taking up paid employments! So what most people do is to set up businesses in their Chinese partner's name, and start making the Benjamins because after all that's the main koko! And others find employments under the radar. Anyhow, anyhow, monkey must jump! |
Sweetvie:Canada to Perth is one helluva long flight. Why did you make the move since Canada is considered by a lot of people as the place to be? Yes ooo, has turned a political campaign centre with supporters of Tinubu, Atiku and Obi pitched against one another. |
Sweetvie:They don't give citizenship to anybody regardless of race. Citizenship is only granted to people whose parents are Chinese; a parent (either the mom or dad is Chinese),grandparents or anyone with proven blood ties to the country. Babies born to foreign couples residing in China are not granted citizenships. My daughter is Chinese but I'm not. I dey manage my permanent residency jejely.. |
Sweetvie:Perth,Aussie! That's cool! I have some mates that end. How long have you been there? Yes, Hunan, it is! The possibility of Nigerians again voting in the wrong person is quite hight from the comments flying around on NL.. |
Nice thread. Observing mode activated.. China has numerous beautiful cities, and tourist destinations to explore. That could've been Nigeria if our past and present leaders had placed the development of Nigeria above their greedy, selfish and corrupt practices. |
Sweetvie:And u did drag me out! Thanks! Family's fine. How's yours? We're in the south of China, no droughts here whatsoever, only the crazy humid summer heat. Lucky it rained yesterday, and today the weather's turned cloudy and windy with the lowest temperature being 22 and highest 27! How everys for naija? |
Sweetvie:How you dey? The heat has been extremely crazy this summer with temperatures hitting 40°C in a lot of provinces and cities across China. With no rainfalls, prolong heat waves come drought, that's what's happening. In Chongqing Municipality, the government used cloud seeding technology - shooting silver iodide into clouds to induce precipitation. As we approach autumn, the weather is expected to let up! |
There's nothing special about this property to warrant such an outrageous selling price. Nothing! Abi na because say na ikoyi e dey? Still not worth it. |
I like to scratch my balls, and sometimes sniff my fingers. Most guys do it. It's not a conscious act; it's something we do without realizing it. Another thing I do is using my phone in the toilet, it makes pooping pleasurable ! |
Congratulations to him! It's sad that Nigeria is still a mess inspite of all the academic degrees politicians / policymakers in Nigeria possess. |
The wicked will always be with us. Under Buhari's government, thousands of Nigerians have been abducted, raped and killed. So, Buhari deserves to be on that list. Btw, I would've thought Mao Zedong would make the list, too, considering the number of Chinese people who died as a result of the cultural revolution he initiated. |
I dislike almost every word that comes out of Buhari's mouth or any word attributed to him. What an idiot! |
richiemcgold:Sad! A ticking time bomb is what we have in our hands! The picture you've described is playing out across all non northern parts of Nigeria. The Fulanis have encompassed us to strike whenever they activated. May God help us. Amen! |
Rahkman:Dense! Blacks have been knighted in the Buckingham palace.. |
Creditalerts:Format? Come on,man! |
Christieanne:Hi! You alleged the dude is a scammer. Can you substantiate this allegation? Thanks.. |
