Dino, the BIG BABY ![]() |
airsaylongcome:I can tell the little error wasn't intentional. Winks . |
Ilaumoh:God and Allah bless you, too. We need to telling ourselves the truth in this country! |
BigBashiru:Aren't leaders supposed to set the cause for their citizens to follow? When a leader is 'fantastically' corrupt, inept, it would most likely reflect on the citizens he/she leads. |
BigBashiru:Leaders set standards for their citizens to emulate. Therefore, a dysfunctional country is a reflection of its leaders. The problem begins from the very top. |
goody234:Not "had" but has. Nigeria still has all the potentials to be the biggest and greatest thing out of Africa and the entire black race. The vital components it lacks are visionary and selfless leaders! I currently live in China, and I witness daily how the third-tier city that I live in is run. From waste disposal to roads maintenance, housing management, urban and suburban developments, security, to the very last detail that makes life worth living, everything is done with the citizens in mind. Is there corruption in China? Yes! But things get done. The reverse is the case in Nigeria. Our leaders make leading appear as though it were rocket science. Nigerians should stop chasing shadows. China isn't your problem. Your leaders and politicians are. Did you read about the billions to be allocated for the upgrade of the presidential clinic? Or the billions to be allocated to FIRS? Hmm! The man always blames others for his self-destructive behaviours! The Chinese are looking for expansion and dominance similar to what the West did; and Africa is there for the taking because cows as leaders! Abegi! |
Nuffing go happen because Nigerians are inherently docile! How much was allocated for education, healthcare, infrastructural upgrades, housing..? The mumu in Nigeria never do. Una eyes go see una ears soon! Let the looting continue until Nigerians irrespective of their party affiliations wake up to demand for accountability from their leaders. |
Too many paranoid people on this thread spewing western rhetoric heard on western news stations! The housing deficit in Nigeria is one of the largest in the world so any initiatives to reduce the deficit is welcomed provided the properties are affordable for everyday people; and there are mortgage facilities to enable people to purchase homes. The Chinese are like the typical business savvy Igbo man who sets up a kiosk at a street corner, and over time builds that little business into several shops with several apprentices serving him. They (the Chinese) have mastered the act of sniffing for, and locating business opportunities because of the hardships they faced when the world considered their country a backwater lined with rice paddies and rickshaws. You may be right not to trust them. You may also be right to want to abhor them. But at the end of the day, you still need them because they're the only ones currently investing heavily in Africa. The West plundered us and left us bare! And they're still plundering and stripping us buttocks bare through agencies such as the World Bank, IMF, and unfavorable trade and monetary agreements as seen between France and Francophone countries in Africa. If our leaders had our interests in their hearts, the money they loot would've been enough to build affordable homes across the entire stretch of Nigeria! Electricity and every basic amenities would have been provided if our leaders weren't as devilishly corrupt as they are. China provides electricity to 1.45+ billion people yet Nigeria can't provide electricity supply to a meager 250 million people! We should bury our heads in shame! Lastly, make I begin save money to purchase one flat for Akwa Ibom! No time! |
Beautiful family. See pikin hair like my pikin own. Chai! |
Udopasa:Not at all! |
Udopasa:Possible but getting the job is the problem. The best route to Korea is study visa especially postgraduate programmes. |
Differentiate:Not at all! |
Differentiate:Your elder brother was right. Although the Korean language appears hard to learn but in fact it isn't half as hard as it appears once one begins to learn it. I left Korea because I had an ESL offer in China. Aside from that, I also wanted to explore something other than Korea. I hope to visit Seoul when international travel fully resumes. |
May we never be called to our death. Amen! |
solidmyk:Wow! Then you should visit Korea. It's a beautiful and safe country. I had some mad fun there. Good luck to you! |
solidmyk:Omo, you woke ooo! Korean ajuma sabi shout aigoo aigoo like say their lives dey at stake. I bin dey Itaewon -dong2ga before. You dey Korea? |
RealTrump:Op: You should have 'blessed' this thread with some photos alongside your YouTube link. Nairalanders love photos because they allow readers to see vivid images of whatever is being described thereby eliciting comment from them. |
igbesachick:You love following me around, xiongdi! Remember I told you you had no idea who I was? |
MrBrownJay1:I beg to disagree with you. Calling Chinese trains "garbage" is totally low and untrue. Have you ever been on the Fuxing trains? They are the world's fastest conventional high speed train in regular service, with a operating speed of 350 km/h. How can anyone honestly call Chinese trains garbage? Agreed, the Japanese Shinkansen trains are classy, and efficient and punctual but so are their Chinese counterparts. If you don't mind, please, lecture us why you think Chinese trains are "garbage". Thanks. Photo 3: The interior of a Fuxing train. Photo taken by me.

TMKsouth:That's the spirit. Good luck! Success! Btw, you have a beautiful country - SA! |
TMKsouth:Keep hustling soon your budget would be comparable with your taste. Good morning from Chinatown! |
TMKsouth:Lol! A first class South African king like you shouldn't have any worries about money. |
TMKsouth:Do visit when China opens her doors to the world again. |
TMKsouth:That photo doesn't enough do justice to the beauty and magnificence of the Bund, Shanghai! It's more spectacular at night when the buildings are all lit up in an array of mesmerizing colours! |
igbesachick:Your words: Chinese? That's even better, then I won't be censor, I will be you! Bleep you! One more sentence Google Translate won't give you, nigger, Nigger nigger! You're the lowest race. You're not even human! Don't try to insert your genes into humans, save it, you'll be as sickly, short-lived, and extinct as neanderthals! You're not gonna get into the human genome bank. You're obviously sick! You need help. I'm not going to play dirty with you,SLOPE! You say blacks aren't humans yet you live amongst them! You're a delusional 'wu mao' who's living in a fantasy bubble. I can curse the hell out of your miserable life in Mandarin but I won't because I'd hate to be compared to a yellow, mucous-secreting swine like you. Go and hang yourself since your life has gotten too unbearable for you. TMD 晚安! |
Drones, robots, A.I applications are being made by kids in China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore...Sometimes I can't help thinking there's something fundamentally wrong with the black race. |
In my opinion, Jamb is a relic from the past that ought to have been scrapped by now. Jamb is still operational today because it serves as a conduit pipe for some selected individuals to enrich themselves. An institution that has been marred by corruption, 'snake-swallowing- money' and utter inefficiency should not even be heard yapping about. In today's world, Jamb should no longer be relevant, WAEC and tertiary institutions should! Tertiary institutions should be empowered by law to directly admit prospective students who have obtained the required test scores in their Waec or Neco as is the case in China, South Korea...Every year in China, 12th grade students sit for an exam called Gaokao (the equivalent of Waec). The brightest students in the exam are usually admitted into top tier universities like Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University...while those who did well but couldn't get into any of the top universities end up in 2nd tier universities, and those who didn't very well either go to 3rd or 4th tier universities. Bottomline is everybody gets educated, and that's why the literacy threshold in the aforementioned countries keep increasing. In China, students go onto universities at 18 or19. While in Nigeria, Jamb is making the educational sojourn of many bright minds a living hell. It is very common to find many young men and women who have written Jamb countless times, wasting precious time on an examination which ought to been scrapped. |
igbesachick:Like I mentioned some days ago, I have no idea what you're driving at. Politics, Western / Chinese propaganda are not in my purview. If you took out time to go through my comments on matters concerning China, you'd realise you're dead wrong about me. OK? I would'nt want to drag issues with you because there's absolutely nothing up for grabs here. Oh, for your information, I speak Chinese, some Korean and a bit of Japanese. Have yourself a nice day. |
igbesachick:It's bullshit. I don't get what you're rambling about. So pointing out something(s) about China automatically makes me a western propagandist? You're truly a 'wu mao'. If you had taken time to go through my contributions here you'd have noticed something strikingly opposite to your assertion. |
igbesachick:Really? And even If I did it is because I write from my experiences as someone who's been to China countless times. You know sometimes you undeniably sound like a typical 'wu mao'? My dad passed away a long time ago, so, please do not mention him. 谢谢! |
Terrier99:You must be a comedian. Or perhaps being sarcastic? You should go read up on China's COVID-19 vaccines programmes. |
Ochys87:@ the emboldened. Do you live in China? You're right about the nonsense the US. does though. |
