hi nkkystel. long time. please u guys can fly direct to ohio to save cos unless u are planning to stay in atlanta. i used new york as my destination before and during interview but i went to los angeles direct. what u have to do is to tell the immigration at the port of entry that u have changed your mind in respect to your host and let him enter new address where they will send the documents to you and believe me u will get all in less than 7 working days. no delay cos of change of destination.

Thanks Missannie, well I am now eligible to work, so I have started applying for work, though I am still awaiting my result evaluation from WES. you can apply for your SSN before your green card arrives, that was what I did and I received my SSN within Ten working days. just find out from people in Texas because what is applicable in my state (Pennsylvania) may not be applicable in yours.

As for the citizenship, my cousin that joined the US army last year November became a US citizen in February this year. The rule is that you must become a citizen before you complete your training.

@faith u dont...focus on ur preparation for d interview...dis ppl r human dey understand dats lapses do occur...i had issue wt my name n DOB on my waec cert...n also wen filling my date of birth on form DSP 232,i didn't write as instructed but none was mentioned during my interview...so dis tins do occur...i wish divine favour n success in ur interview.

1. Husmern thank God you have gotten your CN
2. Secondly if the agents are with your passport, you can get another passport by applying to immigration for misplace/lost passport but no information on the old e-passport will be changed and you can get that within a week for 20k.
3. Do you have a good knowledge of all the information contained in your forms DS 230 and 122?
4. As for were your GC and SSN will be sent if it is not your address, you can change it at POE
5. You can do your medicals with Q-life were you can get your x-ray in CD instead of big envelope
6. You can do your police character yourself in Alagbon
7. You can go with security operatives during your interview and visa collection
8. You can deposit your visa with your bank for safe keep before your departure

The stated above is possible, but my little worry here is your safety. We don’t know the agreement you reached with your agent. Those agents can be diabolical please be careful, I suggest that while you are preparing for your interview that you still pled with them that you will pay them their due but that you don’t have money now and that they should cut down the amount they are demanding. Hope this helps.

@husmern......d agents r no fools...my advice is dat u prepare for ur interview in terms of docs...cuz i knw dat for ur police report n medical u nid ur international passport,Der is no nid goin for a new passport,d moni u will spend for d process of getn new passport can b used to pay dem,dey r human n dey do knw wen u r slated for ur interview,just arrange sm moni frm nw n go to dem towards ur interview date beg dem,reason wt dem n above all pray to God about it...God holds d hrt of kings n men...with God everything is possible...don't ever under estimate wat God can do....i wish u well.

I have only my notifications of GCE statements for 1999 & 2001 plus a sworn Affidavit that I have never collected my certificates before, but my boss refuses grant chance to travel down to another state where the exams were written. Now my interview draws near in this month. Can i go with only the notifications plus two WAEC scratch cards in case they would like to verify.

WAEC notification plus 2 scratch cards(will this suffice?)
Visa fee done
Testimonial done
Can I show evidence that I'm an undergraduate student(Note this was not included in the form I sent to KCC, hope it doesn't matter?)
