First of all, you need to understand that in marriage the financial responsibilities of the home lies with the man. That's why he's called a husband. The wife can support you willingly but it's never her responsibility. She's a home maker, not a finance bringer. That's why bible was very clear that any man who can't take care of his family is worse than an infidel. Your approach of trying to make it look like finance is also her responsibility was probably what put her off. You don't do such things with a lady you would call a wife because it gives the signal that you might not be financially man enough to be called a husband. That's why the word husband goes with a lot of prestige and responsibility that it's never reserved for boys.
And finally, let me tell you that even if a woman earns one billion naira a month it'd still be difficult for her to release it. She'd most likely spend it on her needs and allow the husband to still perform his financial responsibilities of the house. Women are naturally wired that way because the the moment they start taking up finances as responsibilities in the house you will look like an impotent man to them and sooner lose the respect they have for you. I think your approach was grossly wrong. I wouldn't encourage any man to do what you did. If you're not financially ready please don't get married! Don't allow your wife to take up your job as the man of the house or you'd lose her to another man who's capable.

You don't need to make comparisons with the UK and US. The comparison you should make should be between the doctors who face hazardous risks on a daily basis and collect peanuts as hazard allowance, and your senators and house of reps members who collect millions as hazard allowance for just warming the seats! You can't say Nigeria is too poor as a shithole to pay doctors but not too poor as a shithole to pay millions to senators for doing nothing! The problem is not the lack of money or funds. The problem is misplaced priorities! Channel such funds to those who deserve it more and you'd see things work out in this country. Find out how much senators and other politicians in the countries you mentioned (Morocco, Algeria etc) earn as hazard allowance compared to their doctors and you'd see why you really have no point here.

Under Jesus Christ there is nothing like the law but what now exists is Grace. The dispensation of the law which you talked about existed from the time of Moses (when God gave him the tablet of stone) up until the resurrection of Christ. Under the law of Moses people were justified by keeping every part of the law and statutes. In other words even if you kept 9 of the 10 commandments but faulted in one, you were guilty of breaking all of them. But under Jesus, the law was abolished and replaced by grace in the sense that Jesus fulfilled every part of the law which man couldn't keep and so represented every human being that'd eventually believe in him. So people are no longer justified by keeping the law of Moses but by having faith in Jesus who substituted you before God in fulfilling the law that you couldn't keep. That's what grace is all about. You no longer have to do the work of keeping the law yourself (because it's impossible) but all you have to do is believe in Jesus and what he did for you. By that way you get justified before God.
Regarding sins being worse than the other. Yes there are sins that are worse than others. It is scriptural. Even scriptures says there are some sins that cannot be forgiven, meaning that's it's way worse than other sins! Even in hell, there are different grades of punishment. Jesus told the Jewish cities which rejected him that on the judgment day, it shall be more tolerable for the gentile nations and cities (which had not heard his message) than for those Jewish cities which heard and rejected his message. A pastor who backslides will face greater punishment than an unbeliever who never heard the gospel. Sins differ in grades just as punishments differ in severity.

Well I agree with him. He clearly said sins of the flesh such as fornication are not THE MOST SERIOUS sins, meaning it is a serious sin but can't be classed as the most serious. I perfectly agree with him. Scripturally, the most serious sins are what is called sins of the spirit. That is, sins which are committed within an individual against his fellow human or against God, such as unforgiveness, malice, grudge, pride, blasphemy etc. Infact God clearly said that if you don't forgive your neighbor of their sins against you, God won't likewise forgive you. Someone who fornicates will more likely enter heaven ahead of someone who holds unforgiveness, pride etc within their heart and this is something a lot of christians overlook. If anyone wants to be sure he is pure, then make sure you walk in love. Whoever walks in love (instead of trying to keep religion), can never sin!

When will people learn? Because of the constant drop in value of the naira it is suicidal to save your money in naira! I don't know why Nigerians can be stupidly sentimental in most issues without trying to be factual or objective! They reason with their emotions. Now inasmuch as rape is a condemnable act, but this story leaves a lot of questions. First, to be objective in your judgment, the man's side of the story must be heard. Second, which right thinking man, a guest at a hotel would throw away reason and rape a receptionist in that same hotel, knowing fully well that he could be caught. Third, at times I wonder how easy it is for a man to rape a woman without utilizing offensive weapons like knife or gun or drugging the lady etc. I mean, before the single man struggles to pull down her trousers alone, the screams of the lady would have given him away in such an open place. Like are there no security or gatemen or other staff that could have noticed? And moreover, a single man without any weapon trying to rape a lady without knocking her off etc is hard to believe, because such a lady could defend herself easily by grabbing his balls etc. Before the man gets to the point of inserting his chairman, he must have knocked her off in one way or the other because he can't do that effectively with a struggling lady. Were there bruises or signs of struggling or battering on the lady?
My point is, this story might just be a case of sex transaction gone wrong. Rape is wrong and condemnable but we need to be very reasonable at judging situations like this and not just throw in our emotions like mumu without even reasoning or asking pertinent questions that could lead us to an objective judgement.

On the aspect of him cheating on his wife, that's a moral issue left for God and his wife to judge and decide, because if we are to judge based on morals, almost everyone on this platform has fallen short of morality in one way or the other, not necessarily in terms of adultery.

The army says they used blank, not live, bullets which is consistent with the ballisticians report. Go and look at the video clips again, you'll see only flashes coming out of the nozzles of the rifles as the soldiers fired into the air, not at the protesters. Thank God the ballistic expert is not a Nigerian, so nobody will make the usual allegation that he was compromised. If soldiers had used live ammunition hundreds upon hundreds would have died.

So where did the bullet shells come from? Who else would have had the temerity to hold guns in a protest where the police and army were there? The bullet shells fell from the skies I assume. I feel PDP should sort out this issue before electing new excos because I see this secondus guy winning at the court eventually, it might even be in a year time, and if the court maybe a year from now, eventually decide that secondus was unlawfully removed as PDP National chairman, that would mean that every newly elected exco of PDP would automatically be null and void, and this would put the party into a deep crises that would give APC the upper hand.
