appishani1:Brilliant in what sense? By how he has handled the economy? |
It's not just to construct gigantic buildings. The quality of facilities and equipments within the building are much more important than the building itself. A large building like this without proper medical facilities is absolute nonsense |
This same man that supported Fulani herdsmen incursion into and killing in Benue state? He never knew his words would come back to haunt him |
VladimirPutiin:I've always told people this. What on earth would have made Amaechi who never even wanted to be a senator in his own state (when he had the power and popularity to easily win his senatorial district) and who lost elections in his own state, all of a sudden want to become president? For him to have declared, he must have be drawn into it by someone he knows would definitely guarantee him that ticket. And who else but the president can guarantee him that. A lot of persons have failed to read between the lines and would be shocked at the game Buhari will play just like Obj did with Yar'ardua. |
Novices here still think winning election in Nigeria is by how oratorical and intelligent you sound lolz. Tell that to northerners who don't give a damn about your rhetorics. E go shock una well. Politics in Nigeria is different from oratorical politics in America. The APC candidate is the one Buhari will back and my instincts just tells me it is Amaechi. Trust me, Amaechi would never have come into this contest if he didn't receive the secret nod and firm approval from Buhari. When I mean approval, I'm not talking about him having ambitions to be president and then going to meet the president for blessings like other candidates did. I mean Amaechi's case is like the Yar'ardua approval where obj had to literally force him into the contest. That's what amaechi's status is like. |
Lolzzz you really think they'd tell you the real gist of what they discussed behind closed doors? Lolz. You can never hear the real gist of what was discussed behind closed doors through official statements. You can only get such true gists via insider sources. So the moment I see official statements in any write up, I immediately don't waste my time reading because official statements would always paint a good picture and divert attention to what was actually discussed, meanwhile the real strategic plots were made during the closed door meeting. |
LeoDeKing:While I agree with your point that government cannot put food physically on the table, I disagree on several points especially as someone who has lived years in Ebonyi state. Agreed, not everyone can work with government or civil service. Thus in that regard, since everyone cannot be employed by government it now becomes the responsibility of government to provide enabling and conducive environment for private businesses to thrive which would improve employment statistics. This is where this umahi government has been a disaster. Trust me, I'm speaking from first hand knowledge as someone that has lived there. Almost all private businesses have relocated from Ebonyi because of the high cost and inconducive environment for doing business there. The man imposes unreasonable taxes on businesses, even the market women and hawkers are taxed. Many times, they even stop me on the road and ask for tax receipt for my car, my tyre, tax receipt for driving on the road, tax receipt for my house, gate etc. These are not rumours or jokes. Even those employed by the government are not paid well. A whole director earns less than 100k. So I think when people argue for umahi, they should do so from an informed point of view and not just based on media propaganda which they read in the news without gauging the pulse of the average person living in Ebonyi. That's why lots of persons in Ebonyi celebrated the man's removal by the courts while those of you who don't know what's happening in Ebonyi were lashing out at the judge who delivered the judgement. |
Is this president waiting until Kaduna is utterly destroyed before he declares a total state of emergency A so called former military general? This kind of rubbish would never have happened in Abacha or Obasanjo's time as president. It's really pathetic! |
Realguyman1:Technically he got to the UCL final in his second season (2018) (he arrived mid season of 2015 so that can't be counted). He won it in his third full season at Liverpool and won the league a season later. You see the consistency in his performance there. |
openmine:You're right sir but you'd agree with me that man city back then were not as consistent as they are under pep today |
Athemisia:But oga were they consistent? That's the point. Leceister city won a title but are they consistent enough for us to call them a good team? It's not about winning league today and ending Fourth tomorrow and third next tomorrow or crashing out in group stages of UCL. It's about being consistently competitive all around and in every competition which is what we see in the present man city, Liverpool and Chelsea teams coached by these great men |
RexTramadol1:But was he consistent? That's the point. It's not about winning league today and ending Fourth tomorrow and third next tomorrow. It's about being consistently competitive all around and in every competition which is what we see in the present man city, Liverpool and Chelsea teams coached by these great men |
CheedyJ:From the first match I saw pep coach with man city, I knew this man was going to transform this team and take them places. It's just like what xavi is doing at Barca. Even a blind man can tell that this Barca team will grab all available titles next season |
betshopagent:These others were not consistent. Maybe Mourinho was more consistent during his early time at Chelsea but not now. Conte was also good but shortlived. Those are people we can call true managers |
CheedyJ:But were they consistent? That's the point. Mam city was that consistent until pep came in |
Fuckingmallam45:It didn't take man city up to a decade. What they lacked was the right coach. The moment they brought in pep, he started winning titles within his first two seasons and he has consistently been in the top two of the league and they have been very competitive. Another example is Liverpool. After the brought in klopp, he instantly turned Liverpool around. They won champions league within his first two seasons and became a joy to watch. Same thing is happening at Barca with xavi. Same with tuchel at Chelsea. He transformed Chelsea within his first half season and even won champions league. And that's the problem with arsenal. If arteta was really good, it wouldn't have taken him this long to fix this team. His team is just wack and this arsenal team can't compete at the top level. They're just too inconsistent to win any title or compete at the top. |
iezeiyida:You obviously don't know umahi. You are probably one of those living outside Ebonyi state who don't know the mess that is happening in that state and just use the cheap propaganda of infrastructure to rate him competent. Why not relax and ask true Ebonyi indigenes to tell you the hell they're passing through under the man. Why do you think they was great rejoicing in Ebonyi when the courts sacked him? Lolz |
His problems are not over. I think what PDP ought to have done would have been to focus on throwing out the legislators who decamped since it's not legal to remove the governor through the means they're seeking, and since the law is very clear that legislators who decamp would lose their seats. Subsequently, put in new PDP legislators and commence impeachment proceedings against the governor. Shikena! I trust Wike anyway. |
Op did you conduct a formal study to show it was 90%? Controversial data should not be spewed out unless a formal scientific study was done that proves it. To be safe, you can subjectively use the word "most ladies" or "a lot of ladies" rather than attach a figure or percentage to it |
I'm really a big fan of bielsa because of his attacking style of play which is a joy to watch and his no nonsense attitude. But his major limitation would be language barrier which affected him at Leeds united. I also remember him as the coach who smokes on the touchline lol |
These legislators are very stupid! Why shut down the assembly when they can impeach him on grounds of incompetence? |
A whole oil producing country is celebrating this crap. I'm seriously embarrassed |
thebosstrevor1:So what will the guy be comparing the girl to? A girl who was just in his life to sap without adding anything meaningful? And btw sex is not a favor a girl gives to a guy. Both parties enjoy the sex, at times even the girl enjoys it more while the guy has to put in all the effort. My point is, any relationship that gets to a point where the guy is judged on the basis of what he did for the lady is no longer a relationship. The only thing the guy owes a girl in their relationship and vice versa is love and loyalty, period. |
YoungLionken:It was simply because women in those days knew their places in the home and performed their responsibilities. It's not like today where we have feminists and all that who have denigraded the role a responsible wife and mother ought to play |
eazzzy1:Best comment so far! Key point is, any love or respect that can be bought or that is tied to how much you can spend will always have a bigger buyer somewhere else that can take her away from you. |
But wait o, is this the team we want to take to the world Cup? I pray we don't qualify rather than qualify and disgrace this country |
deltaprincess:Lolz Did Obasanjo need South West to win his two terms? Even Tinubu cannot win the entire South West. Continue dreaming man! Reality will wake you up soon |
Is this one news? What about pupils who sit under tree to learn? I'm surprised that you're shocked by this. It means you are not abreast with the sorry state of education in the country |
Truth is, okoye was never really tested at the group stages of the afcon until the Tunisia game which exposed his incompetence. If he had faced real opposition at the group stages, naija for probably crash out at the stage. In summary, okoye can't even near uzoho in the goalkeeping department |
Reflect7:Keep the game tight but play absolute rubbish ba? The saving luck of Nigeria today was that they faced a very poor Ghanaian side. You really think countries at the world cup will be even half as bad as this Ghanaian side? Enough of the dumb excuses and trying to be patriotic but blind to see how terrible the Nigerian side was. It's better we don't even go to the world cup with this kind of team. This is one of the worst Nigerian teams I've seen. |
colorsofrainbow:Lolzzz o boy you get bad mouth o lol |
thatigboman1:The record cannot be "equalled" because it cannot be broken, not now or in the future. It's a record of "who became the first" not a record of "who will overtake who" like seen in highest goal scorer or highest caps etc . |
