The govt is building airport which will provide job opportunities, you are here screaming what Ebonyi needs is job. So how will he provide the jobs? By simply enrolling you into the payroll and be paying you for doing nothing?

What the indigenes need is conducive atmosphere to earn cool living and that conducive atmosphere is the provision of basic amenities. Dave Umahi has performed creditably in this regard.

No govt will bring money and food physically to your door step. That airport will provide both direct and indirect employment to youth who have brains and that is the money and food.

While I agree with your point that government cannot put food physically on the table, I disagree on several points especially as someone who has lived years in Ebonyi state. Agreed, not everyone can work with government or civil service. Thus in that regard, since everyone cannot be employed by government it now becomes the responsibility of government to provide enabling and conducive environment for private businesses to thrive which would improve employment statistics. This is where this umahi government has been a disaster. Trust me, I'm speaking from first hand knowledge as someone that has lived there. Almost all private businesses have relocated from Ebonyi because of the high cost and inconducive environment for doing business there. The man imposes unreasonable taxes on businesses, even the market women and hawkers are taxed. Many times, they even stop me on the road and ask for tax receipt for my car, my tyre, tax receipt for driving on the road, tax receipt for my house, gate etc. These are not rumours or jokes. Even those employed by the government are not paid well. A whole director earns less than 100k. So I think when people argue for umahi, they should do so from an informed point of view and not just based on media propaganda which they read in the news without gauging the pulse of the average person living in Ebonyi. That's why lots of persons in Ebonyi celebrated the man's removal by the courts while those of you who don't know what's happening in Ebonyi were lashing out at the judge who delivered the judgement.

Is this president waiting until Kaduna is utterly destroyed before he declares a total state of emergency A so called former military general? This kind of rubbish would never have happened in Abacha or Obasanjo's time as president. It's really pathetic!

Technically he got to the UCL final in his second season (2018) (he arrived mid season of 2015 so that can't be counted). He won it in his third full season at Liverpool and won the league a season later. You see the consistency in his performance there.

It was not really Pep that started the revolution for Mancity....Its was actually Roberto mancini that gave them the breakthrough and won them their first EPL which was won on the final day after Aguero scored that stoppage time winner!
Mancini was the first to bring in the fulcrum of players that pep benefitted from....pep simply made some quality additions without necessarily changing the entire team he inherited!
Mancity never looked back since then....It was their constant search for a UCL trophy that led the owners to dump or sack Mancini and Perlergini,who also won an EPL for mancity, and settled for Pep!

These others were not consistent. Maybe Mourinho was more consistent during his early time at Chelsea but not now. Conte was also good but shortlived. Those are people we can call true managers

You're absolutely correct. It took Man City nearly a decade to be where they are right now, but the development started since 2008/2009. There won’t be another Sir Alex, so United needs a similar structure and a plan going forward. You cannot buy managers or players for 1–2 seasons. First at least get someone who can make them play real football and get rid of the old horses that are still donning the United jersey.

It didn't take man city up to a decade. What they lacked was the right coach. The moment they brought in pep, he started winning titles within his first two seasons and he has consistently been in the top two of the league and they have been very competitive. Another example is Liverpool. After the brought in klopp, he instantly turned Liverpool around. They won champions league within his first two seasons and became a joy to watch. Same thing is happening at Barca with xavi. Same with tuchel at Chelsea. He transformed Chelsea within his first half season and even won champions league. And that's the problem with arsenal. If arteta was really good, it wouldn't have taken him this long to fix this team. His team is just wack and this arsenal team can't compete at the top level. They're just too inconsistent to win any title or compete at the top.
