The plan is either to declare a state of emergency and install an army officer as administrator of Rivers state or INEC would suspend the elections till further notice (but still within the 90 day stipulated period) in which case the normal tenure of Wike would have expired by May 29 and an interim administrator would be put in charge of the state. Either way Wike would not be available as governor to wield the influence he has now and APC would then have a field day in cahoot with the administrator. Those who think INEC just made a rgt decision do not know what's happening underground. This suspension is only part of the apc plan with inec to take over Rivers. But God is greater. |

Timekeeper:You obviously didn't watch the two games against Barça. Real clearly dominated the matches, infact in the last game Barça had no shot on target in the first half. The difference between the two teams was that while Madrid could not convert any of their opportunities, especially with the wasteful vinicius, Barça took their few chances. I had always said that Madrid's problems was not in changing coaches but in getting a good goal getter. |
Dee60:My dear sir read the post very well. The man was appointed on June 3, 2014 for the usual 5 yr tenure. Last time I checked we're just starting March, about 4 months to the expected expiration of his tenure. Moreover, if he's being sent on terminal leave, it should be at least a month to end of his tenure. All the same, I'm not surprised. Another Fulani from North West for governor. And some idiotic persons would stupidly say One Nigeria. |
APC only trying to play the victim to douse suspicions when we already know that they are in collaboration with inec to rig the elections. They're only trying to play smart so that when they eventually rig the elections, pple wud accept it as credible and now falsely think that the victim has become the victor. |
pple isn't it the same Amina Zakari that's in charge of logistics ![]() |
Rehearsing his final departure to Daura! |
oloworulz:If he's honest enough and has integrity like you said, then let him start the sweeping from his government, beginning from his family, his cabals, then babachir lawal ET Al. Why should a man be looking for bush meat in the forest when he has more than enough in his fridge and inside his mouth? At times when I see the way some of you buhari supporters reason, especially on his so called hypocritical fight against corruption, I just wonder whether you guys really have no shame or honour for yourself. For ur info, I'm highly apolitical and so I'm speaking from a neutral viewpoint. Buhari's govt is one of the most corrupt in the history of Nigeria even a blind man can see that. |
donphiilopus:It's obvious you didn't watch the pdp presidential rally in jigawa. This crowd here is way smaller than what Sule Lamido gathered during the pdp rally! |
I don't know why Nigerians would never understand that Buhari is not moved by protests. Infact protests propels him to further wickedness and tyranny! |
You see, no one is saying onoghen is perfect. But if buhari had been sincere in his corruption fight rather than engaging in witch hunting the opposition, no body would have raised dust over the suspension of onoghen. But for a man as corrupt as buhari who permits corrupt men like babachir, amaechi, tinubu etc, to suspend, against constitution rules, a sitting CJN, that is totally unacceptable. And some so called learned or educated persons are here supporting such acts! It is shocking to say the least. I am apolitical for ur info. If such acts are permitted, tomorrow you or ur family might be the victim in one way or the other and there'd be no one to support you or them. Pls irrespective of political affiliations, whatever is wrong is wrong, and must be condemned! |
some Nigerians are here applauding the decision like they don't know that every IG that takes over begins by making noise on reforms and after a while they retreat back into their shells and go with the flow without achieving what they had initially said. It's the usual initial gra gra. I just wonder how Nigerians can be so naive and when we're ever gonna learn from the past antecedents of these pple! |
Thats really dangerous. He could have hidden an explosive device or harmful object within the bread. Those security guys should be more professional. Someone could take advantage of the VP's openness and harm him. It happened with murtala mohammed |
probably written by bubu himself |
I laugh when pple say Nigeria has won. Do you really know if the new IG is a distant in-law to buhari or if he's part of the APC cabal. This new man might even be much closer to Buhari than Amina zakari and naive Nigerians are here shouting Nigeria has won. I have always said it that removing idris was not the issue but whether the new man will be buhari's dog or not. One truth is certain, if buhari can go as far as attempting to remove a sitting Chief Justice for his re-election purpose, then just know that he WILL NEVER appoint an IG who is not a staunch follower of his or who would not do his bidding! |
The problem is not asking that the IG be retired. Buhari can even retire him rgt now and appoint his brother or distant relative as the new IG, who would be worse and more biased than the present IG. But they should rather push for is electoral reforms. We need strong institutions not strong individuals for democracy to work as is seen in most developed countries. To think that Buhari who controls all these election defining agencies would give you free and fair elections is wishful thinking. Even if he wanted to, you really think desperate and smart politicians like Amaechi, Tinubu etc around him would allow him to do that, considering that their political relevance in Nigeria depends on PMB being reelected? I told pple that were boasting about throwing PMB out with their PVC that democracy died the moment GEJ handed over to PMB, that they can only say that to one who would grant free and fair elections, not PMB. |
Is there anybody that doesn't have access to corruption? i totally disagree with him. Corruption is not just stealing money. Even little dishonest acts done within the family setting or community setting can amount to corruption such as stealing, lying, deception. It mustn't involve money for it to be corruption. |
how many persons think the arrest of Oshiomhole was actually a script being played out by the APC in order to give some credibility to PMB and also prepare the ground to unleash the security agencies on the opposition in the elections and make them look unbiased? |
the Madrid coach is bad, but I think the major problem with Madrid rgt now is the lack of a creative player such as Hazard, and then lack of a good centre forward. I think even if a new coach is appointed he might still have same issues until new players are brought into the team to strengthen the team. Benzema is just a disaster as he was last season. sincerely I was surprised that Madrid board didn't get a new centre forward like Kane or maybe lewandoski, and then add a creative player like Hazard or Neymar. This Madrid team would have been superb if they had gotten these players. The major issue now is not sacking the coach (who's very tactically poor though) but reinforcement of the team cos the new coach wud certainly have same issues as lopetegui |
Geosystem:ok thanks a lot. Is the whatsapp group for this actually functional? |
please kindly add this number to the whatsapp group...08138612159 thanks |
Please guys what's the latest on the postgraduate thing. I actually applied but haven't received a response from them yet. What's the latest please? |
igbos are naturally enemies of themselves. Even the yorubas (afenifere) have already accepted an igbo for the VP slot, and yet the igbos are still fighting themselves! That's why I laugh at times when I hear them say they need the presidency. It's their disunity that actually stands in their way rather than the other geopolitical zones! If biafra is actually, trust me that nation may go down a war path due to greed and disunity amongst brothers just like South Sudan. |
nodullin:Hmmmm...similarities. But I hope just like buhari is doing, atiku won't also drown the economy and bring in further insecurity and unemployment. Joking anyway, Atiku is a good candidate to send pmb back to daura. |
atiku 1573 votes |
it is official! ATIKU ABUBAKAR!! |
votes are still being sorted out in a secret manner in which only agents of the candidates are allowed to view, so for now no one can give an official result of who's leading. Once sorting is done then the open announcement of the winner would be done. |
even the Oyetola guy sef is not smiling. He knows he won't last in that office beyond 5 months! |
The next move against Ambode is impeachment by state HOA members if he attempts to decamp to another party after his defeat at this primaries. Tinubu has it all planned out perfectly. So for those expecting Ambode to decamp to PDP, such move may end up working against him. The mistake Ambode made was not taking control of grassroot politics in Lagos. Tinubu has always been smart in choosing technocrats as governors rather than core politicians because such move will help him keep control of the grassroots and give him the leverage to boot out his anointed technocrat governors when they mess up. The same fate almost befell Fashola until the last minute when Tinubu succumbed to pressure and realigned his support with him. Until Lagos governors learn to play grassroot politics rather than feel comfortable ruling the state from government house, they can never have that advantage over Tinubu. This is what plays out in states like Kano, kwara and rivers where former governors are still able to control politics to some extent within, because they are core grassroots politicians. |
Iamgrey5:Again my dear sir, you're commenting out of point. My comment had no business with Aregbe or salary. His name or what he does is of no importance to me, just as he doesn't even know if you exist. Pls you can argue your Aregbe or salary with another willing unreasonable commentator. Normally i do not invest a fraction of my time in people who can't use their brain to first read and understand a simple comment before making reasonable responses that are wholly CONNECTED to the comment made. But i will circumvent my principle just this once, and only for your sake. And i will kindly remind you of this your comment on the day that the new governor with a stolen mandate is thrown out of the government house by the courts. Since Nigeria attained democracy in 1999, i have never seen a tribunal case that would be as easy to decide as this one, like hot knife through butter. Mark my words. And let me reiterate that I AM APOLITICAL. I speak as a neutral person. |
Iamgrey5:My dear sir, your write up is already close to ten times my own and far more rantish. And i never mentioned Aregbe or salary anywhere in my comment. Pls learn to read properly before you throw needless tantrums. Nevertheless my humble advice is this, pls just save your ink and tears for the shocker at the tribunal. Thank you. And btw i am extremely apolitical. |
Just as i told some people, anyone waiting to defeat APC via elections is just wasting his time cos APC has perfected the art of rigging. On the other hand, this Osun election will be the easiest election tribunal case for the courts because of clear rigging. Adeleke would easily win this one in court. Thats why i really pity all the APC supporters jubilating here and rgt now. Even a blind man could tell it was a case of clear elcectoral rigging not to talk of the courts. The real shocker is coming at the tribunal when Adeleke would be announced the governor. My only fear for this country is that from what i've seen in osun and ekiti elections, the elections in 2019 has already been rigged in favour of APC. |
