Politics › Re: Jonathan's Three Noble Actions by Chyz2: 5:46am On Apr 01, 2011 |
KnowAll: Jonathan acts like a scicilian Mafiosi boss, say little openly, do much covertly that is how he won d primaries. There are weak points in BB's campaign, a good opportunitist like Jonathan would exploit it to it's maximum levels. Team BB should be working round d clock to close down this weak points. Buhari's failure is do to many of his recent actions, but not limited to. His approach to presidency is no different that his last. Another failure is, his blunders during the debate, especially his slip up when it came to promising to prosecute the elites of former corrupt administrations. |
Politics › Re: Intrigues - Bababangida, The Cabal, CPC, Ribadu And The South West by Chyz2: 5:39am On Apr 01, 2011 |
Beaf: Don't be deceived by high level political shenanigans and dribbling moves in the presidential race (such as Babangida's very curious endorsement of Ribadu). ACN and the SW that are about to be sucker punched. I'll explain.
There have always been only two forces in Nigerian politics since the Yar Adua saga; those against zoning and those for zoning; both these power blocks originated from the PDP. All other parties have largely become puns and bit players (knowingly or otherwise).
The principal actors on the pro-zoning side are Atiku and IBB. Their strengths? Atiku controls Ciroma's NPLF, IBB controls ACF and the Northern Stakeholders. While other less visible pro-zoning PDP members and ALL members of the cabal (Turai, Ruma, Aliero etc etc) have decamped from PDP to CPC, the likes of Atiku and IBB have stayed behind, ostensibly to have an ear to the ground. However, both mens supporters and machinery has since moved into CPC. The groundswell for CPC has little to do with Buhari, whose party has been stealthily hijacked by the Yar Adua cabal. It has become the devils party.
In my reading, the next piece of the jigsaw is to rid CPC off Buhari and his rigid style; in his place, the morally flexible ex-EFCC boss would do just fine (not that Buhari is a saint, its just that Ribadu is proving to be much farther away from sainthood). To that end, the Northern consensus candidate nonsense has been reborn, but this time, as an anti-PDP animal. Its the classic wolf in sheeps clothing. After this weekends election, we will see strengthened calls for the consensus candidate. In the fast paced realignments, it would also become plain to the discerning, that Tinubu has sold the SW to the devil. I am 70% sure that the move that started with Babangida's dinner and ringing endorsement of Ribadu, will end with the sidelining of Buhari and mass movement of CPC machinery to ACN. That, people, is the real sucker punch; being sold to MKO's killers for a nickle and a dime.
-Beaf Nice observation. It's clear that these guys will be gasping for air later on. What better time to get air while it's FRESH,now! |
Culture › Re: African-Americans And Their Igbo Roots by Chyz2: 4:13am On Apr 01, 2011 |
EzeUche: Africa is such a large continent, let us be more specific. I propose they travel to Igboland, and that Igbo culture and language should be taught in schools where African Americans attend. Now that is going back to your roots. I don't understand why some schools teach Kiswahili, even though East Africa has nothing to do with the Atlantic Slave Trade. I have always wondered the same thing. |

Ohakim is as good as done in Imo as Orji is as good as done in Abia. There can be nothing like them rigging in those states unless they want to be hunted down and overthrown through riots. I wonder who is the most favorable in Abia though. One thing is for sure, we can now say that APGA Anambra and Enugwu are APGA states. Hopefully Chime will switch over after the elections. |

Sad thing is that a lot of you can see that the majority of Ivory Coast are for Gbagbo actually. But i guess Frances only reason of getting involved in the dispute and supplying Ouattara is to provide "humanitarian aide against the Oh so brutal dictator", just like they are doing in Libya. Of course their presence in Libya has nothing to do with French interest in oil just like French involvement in Ivory Coast has nothing to do with oil, cocoa, etc. either. Wake up people, SA has been trying to speak out against bombardment by external forces. |

Nzeogwu did not die in the coup though. He died during the Biafran war. If you really want to learn about the Biafra-Nigeria war, it is always good to get it from a non-bias(likely non-nigerian) author. Here is a book called "The Biafra story" by a British journalist named Frederick Forsyth. Very clear cut: http://www.scribd.com/doc/6779049/Frederick-Forsyth-Biafra-Story |

Similar to how Americans dont talk much about Slave trade. I heard the movie "ROOTS" when shown on American TV a while back caused some furore Americans schools teach about slave trade all school levels: Elementary, Junior High, High School, and College. Do you live in the U.S.? |

Why should there be any implementations to the constitution for religion. Is this not a clear way of Islamic imposition. First islamic banking, then OIC(or whatever its called), and now they are trying to spread sharia to all states by a constitutional implementation. Where does it stop? Do they not have sharia courts in the sharia states? Why can't we establish Igbo religion across the states in nigeria and put up an Igbo religious court system as well? How bout the Yorubas, Ibibios, and others do the same. Whats so special about muslims? |
