Jashub: The issue here is not whether she is light-skinned or not ...she's your aunt and trying to justify your perversity by changing the subject doesn't sound smart at all. Lol. You think you're explaining this to a normal person? I once tried to explain something to this guy but, I discovered it's hard for him to comprehend. |

Calicoe: I've really done some research because of this and I've been able to know that it is mostly use in English language and that is because countries are created from existing countries. So they liken it to the same way a mother or female gives birth to younger ones. Arab nations, Asians and some other countries don't refer a country as she /her Yep even germany. It all still boils down to the fact that something birth something. Just like a mother. |

Politics › Re: It Is Only Christians That Provoke Muslims In This World by Cinema4d: 11:01am On Sep 01, 2021 |
thebosstrevor1: I have come to realise that it is only Christians and Christian nations that always provoke muslims.
Many Christians know that muslims have their own rules and way of life, their is the sharia law, sharia education and sharia banking, infact Islam is a way of life for muslims, many Christians know that but they will always find a way to promote choas and cause conflict by interfering with Islamic traditions and way of life.
I have never met any muslim that will talk bad about Jesus christ or even try to burn the bible but it is Christians that will try to draw Mohammed picture in a scandalous way to provoke the muslims, burn the bible or talk bad about Mohammed wives, when muslims called them out, they will hide their bigotry and hate under freedom of speech to protect their provoking attitude. Even here on nairaland, you will see anti islam monikers all over the place but you will never see a muslim deface christian dieties, Some of them do it purposely to cause chaos and see the reaction of muslim because they know that muslims are emotional and devoted to their religion.
Another instance is, it is the Christian nation that will invade muslim countries and start preaching democracy to them, when they know, democracy has no relation with the principles of leadership in Islam. As a guise, the Christian nation will steal their oil, put tribes against each other and then kill their children, sisters, brothers , mothers and fathers with bombs, when the muslims organize and decides to fight back, they are called Terrorists.
Many Christians know that Saudi Arabia is the holy land of Muslims and that there are certain way which they behave with their women, men and society at large but the Christians will find a way to provoke the people by fighting for so called women right, human right and trying to cause choas even when the muslim society is at peace with it.
The truth is that you will never see a muslim country trying to influence western way of life but anyway the wars created by the Christian countries in muslim countries is already bringing about subtle muslim influences in western culture. immigration of muslim people from war torned muslim countries to western countries is already culturally and politically changing the west. It is apparent you don't know much about your religion. You think what you're practicing in the west is what is called Islam? No! The core aspect of your religion is what the Taliban and boko boys are doing. If you've not gotten to that stage, you're not yet a Muslim. Go and read who is this Allah by G. J. O. Moshay for more clarification |

We use the pronoun “she” for calling a country because it is our homeland . Usually, a mother is the one at home and the father is at work(doesn't apply now, but still relatable). It is now sexist, but it didn't used to be. We call a country “she” because we are from there, like you are from your mom. And she keeps reproducing. |

bepositive11: Yes, I've learnt from experience. You must've learnt from experience too.
People who can't stay single are walking red flags. Since they're so desperate, their standards are so low. They'll accept the first person who shows them attention and they would do anything to hold on to them (to not lose them), which is why they're much more likely to get into toxic relationships and stay
I personally believe that low self esteem has a lot to do with it, but I think it all stems from growing up in dysfunctional families. People who've experienced neglect, abuse, and/or abandonment when they were kids tend to have this problem. I used to be like that too. There was so much shame and guilt going on in my head that I was using crushes to escape from myself but I wasn't aware of it. Just like how people get addicted to drugs, my addiction was to people
I experienced a string of rejections but the last one hurt so bad because I genuinely had feelings for them. That was what motivated me to change. I'm very happily single now and I'm only willing to be with someone who's as healthy as I am and compatible
The fairytales and movies we watch growing up are deceiving. They don't depict healthy love. Teenagers are looking for love and relationships before even knowing themselves and what they want out of life Exactly, movies are one of the factors that's misleading people about relationships. Teenagers are looking for love and relationships before even knowing themselves and what they want out of life Absolutely! Even some adults are still not sure what they really want out of life. |

bepositive11: Interesting question. Had to think hard to answer
First of all, when we genuinely love someone, their pain is our pain, so we try out best not to hurt them. If we do hurt them, we apologise and never do it again
But, like in your example, people can love someone who doesn't love them and in that case, it is possible to get betrayed. But, the hurts start small and get bigger with time
This is why it is important to love ourselves first so that we can establish healthy boundaries and avoid people who don't genuinely love us
Unfortunately, many people don't love themselves and look for someone to love them. This is why they end up tolerating people who don't love them back and who hurt them instead. They become obsessed and addicted
So many people confuse addiction with love. They use their lover as means to escape from themselves
I was a victim of this but not anymore. I really love myself now and it's very easy to cut off toxic people. I don't "need" anyone to love me anymore. But I'm definitely open to sharing my life with someone who's fulfilled on their own. I avoid people who say that they need me or that they can't live without me or that I'm their everything at all cost! Very toxic way of thinking but it's celebrated so often Some will even say they can't stay single for a long time. Therefore, they dive into any relationship(it could be toxic) just to avoid being single. I don't know if it's low self-esteem, pressure or loneliness. But, thanks I understand you perfectly. You've learnt from experience. |
