I think it's because the layout of the report is not user-friendly. I get a bit dizzy scrolling up and down to compare data of various states. undecided
Bro, abeg leave Chino. I no get his time now. Been very busy lately.
Truth is that Nigerian statistics isn't even worth the paper it's printed on. Any stats. from "Nigeria", i don't even bother to look at it at all. Look at Osun that is almost bankrupt doing better than Anambra and Enugu grin grin grin grin grin grin

Chino's concern is simply to mock Abagworo that Anambra is better than Imo and other SE states. My concern is to make sure the entire SE cultivate and specialize in their area of comparative advantage and we plan our cities to a decent international level where foreigners will gladly want to live in the flats in Awada or Obosi and have same living standard as living in China, Beirut or Cairo. I want us to CHANGE our attitude of not doing anything to international standard and do everything to compete internationally. Let our apartment buildings and flats compete with what is in Indonesia or Thailand or China. Let tourists feel comfortable renting a flat in Obosi and living there.

Please, please please, spare me Nigerian voodoo statistics. grin grin grin grin grin
I don't have time to waste on childish forgeries called Nigerian statistics

Can anyone in the know please tell us if these new areas gov't has approved for housing estates have been surveyed and properly serviced with the necessary infrastructure before plots are sold and building of houses begins?

Our development should be planned and in keeping with accepted best practices in developed countries of the world. After all, we're aiming for the Dubai model aren't we?
The place was neither surveyed nor approved by government.

The sad thing about our development is that most parts of the state, you buy land from the communities or families. These lands are not properly surveyed, so folks just keep building on their portion of the land. The end result is never too pleasant.

I hope we begin to at least plan some of these mass housing districts in Onitsha, Awada and Obosi to look decent. Even if it's third world standard. We should make space for adequate road infrastructure and make effort to make the place habitable and pleasant.

Some toilets. .......
Arrangement of the shower and toilets are somehow not proper. The back of the toilet should have been on the wall exactly where that tap is. While the tap is shifted a little inwards towards the window

The shower should be closer to the window and the floor tilted a little to guarantee that water flow out through the hole. Then the toilet is closer to the door.
This way, even if you visit the toilet without bathroom slippers, you foot will not be wet and also soil other places in the house.

This is really sad and pathetic that such evil is still going on in the world today. What are our African leaders doing to stop this tragedy? What exactly is the role of the African Union if such evil is still being metted out to Africans on African soil. Something drastic needs to be done to put an end to this assault on our collective humanity.

I tell Nigerians that the impact of poor corrupt leadership at home is waay beyond just putting Buhari in power.

Nigerians that voted him in will eventually run out of Nigeria and be mistreated as animals in foreign lands. Come to think of it, aren't we animals for voting a 75 year old illiterate former coup plotter as our leader in this modern day and age?

Well, sorry to the girls. I pray they regain their freedom someday.

Nigeria is a zoo.

I plead with Igbos to STOP thinking about Nigeria and think of their own region as their homeland.

If Igbos can do like other Nigerians and consider their homeland first before any other place in "Nigeria", they would have learnt something from the tragic history of Nigeria.

When Fulani is talking about investing in "Nigeria", he is mainly talking about, Kano, Kaduna or Sokoto. Not Onitsha or Umuahia

When yoruba is speaking of investing in "Nigeria", he is talking about Lagos, Ibadan or Akure. Not Enugu , Aba or Owerri.

When Igbo is speaking of investing in "Nigeria", he is talking about Lagos, Kano, Abuja,Kaduna or Maiduguri. Not Awka, Abakaliki or Nnewi.

I hope you know that the courts will analyse the ballot papers again as evidence, when the election petition tribunal kicks off, so if there is foul play, it will be discovered by competent forensics analysts.
Don't mind them. They are busy forging numbers and not mindful of the implication.

We also have thumb print of the registered voters which experts will use when deciding the likelihood of the votes being cast by APC thugs or actual votes by registered voters showing their exact thumb print on the ballot paper.

Everyday is for the thief, one day is for the owner.

Eleka will still claim his victory. This manipulation of Ekiti results by Federal Government through INEC will be proven openly for all to see in the court.

There is absolutely NO-DOUBT that the so called New "Nigeria-Air" is just another avenue to teal funds for elections by the desperate APC-Government.

Buhari first of all illegally and unilaterally withdrew $1 billion dollars from the CBN claiming to use if to procure weapons to fight Boko Haram.

WHERE ARE THE NEW WEAPONS? WHY IS BOKO HARAM KILLING OUR SOLDIERS?

This APC- FEDERAL GOVERNMENT will continue coming up with dubious schemes to steal state funds to finance their election

That area in umuahia looks very appealing for estate development.

I am hoping that the enyimba economic city comes to fruition. The plan looks solid on paper and it will give Aba the rejuvenation that it desperately needs.
Gbam!

Aba needs a couple of great projects to help that city rise again.

Ojukwu himself recognized the central importance of Aba in Igbo renaissance.

If Aba rises as a true industrial city, then we have hope as a people. If it's subjugated as it is now, then we are subjugated as a people.

Those little children playing here and trying so hard to create an artificial division between Abia and Anambra will fail as usual.

We don't want GREEN-WHITE-GREEN on our houses in Anambra. It is equally more ugly combination than White and Brown or WHite and Grey.

I sincerely believe IPOB is a creation of Buhari to destabilize the SE.
Now that folks are coming together to form a block and vote out the Dictator Buhari, IPOB is talking about boycott of a section of the Pro-opposition region.

IPOB are somethings so thoughtless that you are left with the idea of Buhari sponsoring them as the only plausible conclusion for their stupidity and lack of political strategy.

Biko nwannem,
Nigerians are united in only one thing = HATRED OF IGBOS. Nigerians will never learn from Igbos, instead they are looking for how to destroy them. So why are you telling them to copy Igbo?

Igbos should stop the attitude of always thinking "NIGERIA" Igbos should infact think more about their region and less and less about what other Nigerians want to do with their own region. Please, let us mind our business and focus on how to solve our problems. Nigerians are focused on political power because they know they don't need hard work to corner the billions of dollars from oil and use it to help themselves.

HOW IS THE GOVERNMENT REGULATING ALL THIS HIGH RISE BUILDING TO ENSURE THEY DON'T COLLAPSE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

I HAVE SERIOUS CONCERN FOR ALL THESE BLOCKS IN ONITSHA.
They are not even high enough. If we had electricity and people could use elevators, they should be making them at least 10 floors as in China. Wherever there is scarcity of land and high population density, you MUST build multiple floors just to give more people a chance to live in a decent and affordable apartment. In India and China, typical apartments are about 10 -15 floors.

My concern is that government should seriously raid the steel markets to confiscate fake iron rods. They should also closely watch the quality of cement being dumped in the SE lately. A lot of cement manufacturers are cutting corners and this needs to be checkmated by government.

Lovely!

The white and off white colors Nigerian now paint for shows we have improved in taste as a people. Before, it used to be ONLY Europeans that painted a bright color indoors which made their homes always appear cleaner than the typical dark brown painted in Nigeria in those days.

Today, i see many homes now paint a modern off white or even white on their walls just like in hotels and here. It is a great sign that as a people, Nigerians taste has really improved.

Biko, both of you should be posting we are loving it. Investnow2013 is a solid addition to any Anambra thread both here and at the defunct Biko, lets appreciate that guy for all his efforts over the years. He has been championing the growth of Anambra for almost 10 years now. I want to buy that guy a drink or a present. I wish i can do same for my state. He is a true lover of his state quietly posting things that investors are secretly looking at all over the world to decide if they should come to Anambra or not.

By the way, i love the new look DMGS roundabout! Finally, Onitsha is looking like other cities where roundabouts have been drastically improved. This only regret i have since we have poor maintenance culture is that the tusks should have been concrete than iron. Because Iron rusts with time if it's not repainted regularly.

I thank God for Gov. Willie Obiano. It is not enough to just think of big ideas, which he has in abundance, but he also understands that unless you gradually improve the ambiance of Anambra cities and make them better and more habitable than the surrounding cities in Delta, Imo and Enugu, people will live in these places and only visit Anambra to work or trade.

Let the urban renewal of Onitsha continue. I am glad that demolition of shanties and banning of Okada have taken place. I hope planting of trees and flowers along roads and key open places begin soon. Anambra shall rise

It is now time to sit in a cool courtroom and go polling unit by polling unit to show how the results in the table below does not match the reality of the elections

Furthermore to show where the APC Federal Government cleverly added 59,000 votes to the APC number to make sure it wins the election. All the alteration of numbers and inconsistencies in the total will be laid bare for all to see what happened.

The day of truth and reckoning has arrived.

Say NO! ---- to election rigging and results writing in Nigeria!
