please how do you add ATS to your credential to be evaluated? do you have to request for ATS transcripts from ICAN? How do I go about that? And what implication will that have on my scores i.e does it make the point higher as compared to ordinary Bsc?

Thank you
Request your ATS transcripts from ICAN and have them send it to WES, just as you would do with your university transcripts. Yes, ATS should add to your points as additional certificate. It's evaluated by WES as a one-year college level certificate.

Pls my people, what is the best alternative/related NOC that someone that works as a customer service officer in a bank can choose? Considering that customer service officer falls under C working class which disqualifies one. Pls what is the way out? Pls advise
The way out is to find something else you do in the bank and try identify a NOC that fits it. Is there something else you do at the bank? Can you convince HR to identify this in a reference letter for you?

Hello house, please I have just started my processing. Would like to know if any of the companies for ECA usually evaluates ICAN or is it only the BSc that I am to evaluate? Thanks
They don't evaluate ICAN as an additional degree. If you have ATS though, don't fail to add it. WES evaluates that as a one-year college diploma.

You are gonna use any of the designated organizations like WES or ICES.

going by this if someone stays for instance in the US for for 7 months and didn't upload a PCC...how will they know you need to upload one if u don't scan visas and stamps for them to scrutinize.
Ideally you should report your travel history. That will let them know. If you don't, they may find out cos they exchange info with other embassies and you sure know what that may earn anyone.

Please always refer to the CIC website first. They keep updating the requirements and it clearly states ECA is required. Maybe it's a new development. But please, ref to the website first on what to do when filling the online application.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-how.asp
Actually it also says on a part of their website that it's not required to upload ECA, and that if it's required they'll let you know.
So, he's....kinda right.

3.If the plane you’re in has to perform a water landing, you should never inflate your life jacket while you’re in the plane, as it will make you stuck on the ceiling. Get off the plane first, then inflate the jacket.

https://www.britishairways.com/assets/images/baft/components/FSAcourses/760-50-lifejackets.jpg
Ethiopian airline flight 961 from Addis Ababa to Nairobi was hijacked while in Ethiopian airspace by a group of men who demanded that the plane be flown to Australia. The pilot explained to them that he had only enough fuel to land and will not be able to make the trip. The agitated men insisted. The plane ran out of fuel and crashed off the Comoros Island. Some tourists in the vicinity took pictures as the plane crash-landed into the Indian Ocean. Most of those who died in this crash inflated their lifejackets before the ditching.

Lesson: do not inflate your lifejacket before a crashland into water.

sad When it was sweeting us to travel upandan. Now I am breaking my head for PCC from different annoying places. Thanks everyone.
To be on the safe side, I will upload the data page and visas/stamped pages for current passport. Then visa pages and stamped pages only for older passports.
Better to overdo than to do too little.
Hi nkigirl,

I looked into this thing a bit more, cos it's hard to give up on a question like this. Those, including 40manlappy, who said to scan only the biodata of your current valid passport and any markings on it obviously have a very strong point, as that appears to be what CIC explicitly requires. Still, I don't think more information is necessarily bad. This is nearly like the case of CIC explicitly requiring that you do not need to upload ECA, but many still do just to avoid stories that touch. But here's what I have found from scouring through NL and Canadavisa:

1. Some included scans of all pages (biodata & visas/stamps) of their old and current passports, including blank pages of current passport! And they got their PPR.

2. Some included scans of visas/stamps from old passports and biodatapage & visas/stamps from current valid passport. And they got their PPR.

3. Some included scans of biodatapage & stamps/visas on only current valid passport, and did not include any single thing from older passports. And they also got their PPR.

4. Among the first two are those who used a LOE to carefully explain what they have uploaded regarding passports. Some others simply explained on the first page of the PDF containing passport information what each page of the PDF has in it.

What I could surmise is that this ultimately has no crushing effect on one's application. As far as I can tell. Perhaps everything lies in how well it is explained on a LOE or on how well the pages are arranged on the PDF.

One thing: I had initially thought the reasons for uploading stamps/visas is to "prove" travel history. I think that's wrong and is not the case. CIC apparently doesn't need your passport in order to know at least some of your travel history. I guess they can learn this from other channels, especially for countries like the US, UK and some others.

Hah! Different opinions from different people, and it's so confusing. Even the tweet isn't clear with reference to my situation. I need to know so I don't do the wrong thing.
The current passport is very new and doesn't have any stamps or markings or visas. All the visas, stamps and markings are on 2 older and expired passports.
We will of course include all info in the travel history and provide all PCC as required.
But, based on the tweet and experiences of other people, did anyone only upload the current passport even if it did not contain all the info you put in your travel history
I'd suggest you upload the datapage of the new passport and stamps on the older passports. That's the only evidence you can provide of your travel history which you have to fill anyways. This is my own opinion.
Just make sure not to upload the datapages of the previous passport, as I have read about that putting someone on the previous thread in some complicated situation.

40manlappy:
Take note that the question said "passports that bear former names and visa/stampings..."

The answer includes "...you don't need to provide previous versions".

I haven't read that anyone was penalised for uploading previous passports. In the end, everyone should do what makes him sleep well at night smiley
I have actually not said that you are wrong. And of course I'm not saying people get penalized for previous passports. I was only noting that IRCC's response didn't explicitly say not to upload stamped pages. It could have meant not to upload previous datapages, you know? Anyways, I'm of the rule that if more information won't hurt, there's no harm providing it.

Good morning good people!

Started from the beginning of the thread and am here now. Need to clarify some questions which goes this;

1. I have OND in accounting from Offa polytechnic and a bsc in HRM from Unilag. Can I send the transcripts for the two degrees to WES for evaluationhuh My fear is going to be the response speed from Offa polytechnic tho.
I don't know what ICES evaluates OND as, but I know WES evaluates it as a 2-year diploma. With your BSc, that's gonna provide you additional points for education. If you could follow up with someone at Offa Polytechnic so they respond timely to WES, you may be able to get your evaluation early.

Please my people, can I use Nigerian PCC of five months old for my application?
I agree with bbaby84. Don't leave yourself at the mercy of the VO who can easily interpret the PCC as expired. It'll cost only a token to replace it.

40manlappy:
1. Only your valid passport are required to be uploaded. See IRCC's tweet below

2. Scan all the markings on your current passport e.g. visa stamps, etc

3. Refer to no. 2
Curiously enough, this doesn't actually say you shouldn't upload scans of visas/stamps from older passports. You can as well interpret this to meet you only need to upload datapage from only current passport, but still upload stamps/visas from older passport.

Hello guys, nice job being done here and congrats to all that have attained one level of success or the other in this process. May God make all things good for us all.

I have been on and off this thread. Tried catching up two days ago only to find Part 1 closed shocked My inconsistency can be attributed to my preference for Aussie over Canny but from the present look of my circumstances, I may just have to do both simultaneously.

In view of this, please I would like to get clarity on which is a preferred option for ECA having bagged my masters from the UK. WES or ICES? Also, I'll appreciate reason(s) for the preference. Cheers.
Since your Masters is from the UK, it means your university will respond pretty quickly to WES enquiry. So WES is surely the better option.

The cumulative score one gets when using the CRS Tools assuming all inputs are correct, is it same with the actual score one finally arrive at. If there are variations what could be the cause?
Always exactly same, if info has been input correctly.

No reason to be bothered... It would be great if you could get a fresh pair before your medicals. You would be asked to read out letters from a distance, just like you do normally when you need to get fresh lens.
Thanks

Hi Cochtrane, in addition to all that has been said. I wear glasses but did not go with them for my test and of course when it was time to read out the letters, infact, it was an embarrassment grin.

I explained to the nurse that i wear glasses and i forgot to bring them with me. I passed my medicals in eight days, so trust me, not doing well in an eye test will definitely not render you inadmissible on medical grounds. There are other health problems that are more expensive to the Health system in Canada than not reading clearly with your eyes.

All the best in submitting your application.
Thanks for the tip.

The eye test is very important. You need to get your new glasses if you can't see well with the old ones. I don't know at what point it will be regarded as failed but I believe no one wants to find out.
Okay. Thanks. Will go get a new one then.
