doggedfighter: You make them as stew ? Not as Nigerian stew. But it’s a similar process of cooking both. Sautéing some onions, peppers, choice of meat and your puréed or cubed pumpkins. It doesn’t taste like Nigerian stew to me but it’s delicious by itself in its own class. I don’t really think it’s weird but I get that if someone isn’t used to eating it, might find it difficult to adjust or use it to replace stew. I personally won’t use it to replace stew. I might try this his method just to see if it’s similar to stew for the sake of experiment |

So if govt collect taxes does that means citizens are qualified to leave like animals, don't maintain and destroy properties for selfish gain.
Even if the govt is corrupt with the taxes that does that mean the citizens should be nuisance to the society?
If so then there is no difference between the corrupt government and the nuisance set of citizens. I don’t minimize the value of individuals contributing positively to their environment. However, every Nigerian is just as liable as the next person. Stop being tribalistic about it. |

This is such a stupid assumption to make. You mean to tell me that if the govt kept up with the infrastructure all this time, made sure the roads are well paved, well lit, there’s greenery for beauty and ventilation. The gutters and drainage are well maintained to prevent flooding. Minor decay of roads and bridges are fixed before collapse sets in. Tax money is used to pay sanitation workers in a timely manner so that rubbish isn’t littered everywhere. There’s clean affordable water and electricity. Each house has plumbing by law etc etc That Igbo people won’t like it? This is what tribalism has done to your brains. You don’t mind saying the most outlandish things just to try to win a silly argument inoki247: You're the one who's blind she's calling the Govt attention to tidy the place buh once Govt starts and put everything she made mention of people will start playing the victim card or saying is because they're not voted.....
People can't be hungry and trying to survive and you be calling on Govt to give you something smart when people are hungry and just trying to survive...
So is ur problem if you think my comment is tribalistic...
If you want a good and smart city head will roll and poverty might also increase... |

You guys don’t get tired of being dense and tribalistic? Your government collects taxes and does nothing with it except to feed fat. While you get off on hating each other as they stow your collective wealth away for their future generations 10x removed. They know you can’t do anything but come on the internet to spew tribalistic BS. When you see the people responsible for your plight, you lay down and worship them but feel strongly against the next person who’s just as much a victim as you. I’ve never seen a group of people as unique as Nigerians Esama: So state government allow this Eastern people to spoiled this community. inoki247: Lol if Govt comes for the place I hope nobody will play the tribal card.... raskymonojendor: Festac used to be multicultural. Guess the people that live in festac nowadays after they hijacked it. The tribe starts with an I and ends with O. They invaded the town and messed it up.

You know that’s why they are constantly pressed about western women. The reality for woman (in a typical misogynistic setting), is that if you do, you’re damned and if you don’t you’re still damned. Western women decided to do and damn the consequences and these dudes have been losing their ever loving minds because of it . shaybebaby: They might call the woman cheap and desperate.
But joke's on them. The society here doesn't give a rats arse because it is one of the most multicultural places on the planet.

As long as it is not harassment, no one cares. |

And whose fault is that since the women typically don’t propose? I mean yall want traditional women right? So they wait for you to propose because that’s the expectation. no?. They are in these relationships with the understanding that it’s leading to marriage based on what has been said between them and the men. Meanwhile these men know deep down they are only there to waste the ladies’ time. How is this not an indictment on men instead of women? Won’t you people still be the ones to raise your fingers and start doing body count when the women leave relationships they don’t think is heading anywhere serious? I really dislike when you guys pretend like you mean well but deep down you know you’re being disingenuous. Because there’s no option she chooses out of all that you guys have presented to her that will be good enough for you. She’ll always be at fault just for existing as a woman Pls 😒 InvertedHammer: /
From 20-28 (the best child-bearing age biologically), a good 8 years, many of these Nigerian ladies are in meaningless relationships or still doing hookups. Some co-habit with partners offering free marital services without locking him in a contract. The smart ones detach themselves from their friends and get married. The worst relationship advice a lady will get is from other single ladies--they mean no well. Sadly many learn this a tad too late.

If you are a single lady in your 30s in the UK, you must first declare a state of emergency (SOE) in your love life. The security level needs to be raised to the highest point. This entails treating any adult male close to you with utmost priority except if the person is a blood relation. It should be noted that without humility, the SOE can’t get the desired results Started as if he had something useful to say to single men and women only to end it in the typical brain rot advice they typically offer single people aka single women which is nothing but ✨desperation✨. |

I understand Mcslize: You're right though. But one tip is that don't consider it as one time chunk amount. Just break it down bit by bit by attending to one aspect at a time. With that, one won't see it as one big chunk amount.
If you break the different tasks into bits, and handle them individually at a time, it will remove that fear of big chunk of money which most don't have.
For example, I started by first getting my passport for 120k. That is out of the equation. I then proceeded to gathering all of my documents which come with mecellaneous expenses.
If you break the process into bit, you won't feel that fear of that big chunk of money that is preventing some persons from taking the first step. Just do one thing at a time.
People who truly want to relocate should take the first step and every other aspects of the process will be a breeze. |

You literally just pivoted from answering my question. I said, Since Hamas are Palestinians and yall support the elimination of Hamas by the destruction of all of Palestine. Would it then be okay for the govt to nuke the northern part of Nigeria in order to eliminate Islamic terrorists among them? I love how when the cognitive dissonance is present to you guys in black and white, you can’t face it hotwax: While Palestine maybe different from Nigeria, we saw how aljezerra journalist were involved in keeping kidnapped Israeli hostages in their apartment…those are civilians involved in military activities., they just put themselves in a line of fire.
Rockets were fired from schools and hospital thinking Israel will not be able to fire back into those places…Israel is obviously not buying into that strategy |

hotwax: Nigeria government is under the influence of Islamic jihadists. They are like hisbollah in lebanon..they are giving free hand to operate like another government within the military.
The only lesson here is…don’t wait for anyone to fight for you or protect you…let’s learn from Israel…UN are paper tiger… So then in order to fight Islamic terrorists that harm Nigerians, should the govt bomb all the northern states killing everyone there including their children because terrorists might be hiding there? I await your well thought out response |

So then won’t all this calculate to more than 10 million naira possibly 15-20 million with all things considered? Mcslize: We don't really calculate it by range. We calculate it by the list of things you need to do to get your visa to your chosen country.
First, it's not even about the money alone. It's most importantly about you being qualified to even relocate by having the right work experiences or educational qualifications and being within the required relocation age bracket. That's the first thing to consider. If you have that, 50% of the process is solved.
The next will be the whole process of what you need to do. Now, using myself as an example, English test will cost me $200 USD, assessment of my educational qualifications will cost me $700 USD, invitation to apply fee will cost $200 USD and the main visa proper which will happen to be Permanent resident visa will cost me $3100 USD. Now, add everything together, that should be $4200 USD for the whole process. You don't even need to show proof of funds for this part.
After getting your visa, you will now factor in your flight money, rent and upkeep money for like 3-6 months.
So, you see, the whole visa process alone isn't more than 7 million if you convert that 4200 USD. It's just a step by step process something. They no dey rush am. Na small small. That's why I said the most important aspect of the whole process is you qualifying first. Cuz not everybody have the right skills, experience and educational qualifications to japa. |

The whole processing fees cost around CAD$1,450 Are you doing it yourself or paying someone to do it for you? I feel like there might be a reason for the cost difference. From what I’m hearing there are people who are doing it for immigrants and that’s where the cost lies |

pur seniors when we started work used to be able to travel to Dubai and Joburg (the good old days of Arik Air) within one year some will squeeze in Accra to make it three destinations in one year on a salary less than 7 million per annum and still had a car their wife were earning something too so extra income they could do so much back then and we used to look up to them when we got closer to the ranks, that's when Bpohari and Tinubu decided to destroy the country
Today let a Semi Senior or even a senior try the kind of life someone on his grade was living ten years ago. let's see what happens that's why the big four is getting decimated with brain drain why sell yourself short when you can earn more and live better elsewhere?
honestly the govt had to do something or is this deliberate to make people serfs? |

What plan do you have to get yourself out of that situation? You have to be strategic. You obviously didn’t migrate to stand in the cold 12 hours a day for the rest of your life. But nothing will be handed to you. So have to make the opportunity for yourself and seize it fastseo: I speak from experience. Last week we had to contribute money to someon who sold everything and got here. Children no food, house rent etc no de.
This is someone in a managerial position back in Nigeria. He has developed high blood pressure.
The hurrible shift jobs I do, I won't do that in Nigeria. But we have to encourage our self and move on.
Let me break it down to u... Can u stand 12hours cleaning with just 15 minutes break all night. Or all day. That's you won't sit down. Sitting down your supervisor will report as u are unfit for the job.

tshtsh: If you find yourself in this situation one option will be to send your children to secondary school in Nigeria and plan to move back to Nigeria before they finish secondary school. This is why I personally don't see why people in there late 30s or 40s move abroad. If you move at 25 and return by age 40 when kids are still young you may have reaped the benefits of the japa and also be in a position to reap the benefits of japada One of my PCTs moves in his early 40s with his wife and kids. He put his head down for 20+ years and worked like his future and his kids future depended on it. With his income which wasn’t amazing but enough, his kids finished school. Actually, one of his daughters is my age and my colleague now. He’s been able to build several rental properties back in his home state after his kids became established. Now he just works because he doesn’t like to be idle but he’s retiring in a year or two and he’ll just sit at home collecting his pension from this massive employer who will NEVER owe him unpaid pension. He will never have to carry placard to protest unpaid arrears. Like some of our retired older parents do in Nigeria. Even if he didn’t work for an employer that’ll pay him pension for the rest of his life, his rental properties might be enough to make sure he doesn’t starve like some aged retirees who have nothing to fall back on. But because he didn’t feel too high and mighty to be a PCT in his 40s, he can retire to Nigeria and earn his pension in dollars. I’m just saying don’t discourage anyone. There’s no timeline in life. |
