Ah got it.

Woman? = no say. She is expected to take care of all.

Man? = nah. He’s not obliged to.

nkwuocha1:
In the case of the woman,in our traditional society a woman have limited say.Trust me,it's not equity at play here but it is how it is.A woman married into a family is expected to take care of all she met there, maybe not financially BUT don't maltreat them. Its only natural for the woman to love her kids more,it's human nature even for both sex.

Contrary to what is being reported in the media, few times I have witnessed women who love their step kids. Infact, a lawyer in my former abode almost stripped a teacher for flogging her step-daugther.

Another woman forced her husband to find his lost daughter of over 30 years. This woman singlehandedly, with the help of her brother in law traced this girl. They met her at the brink of committing suicide.

So, if a woman comes into a family with step kids already, you're not forced to provide. But don't maltreat them.

Any man who is fixated on issues of women who are not yet married or don't intend to get married, just understand that the man is using it as a deflection of his own personal issues and sees writing about a woman's marital status as a coping mechanism which mentally, is unhealthy.

Coco so you too can't identify sarcasm?
For some it’s sarcastic and for others it’s not. Their sarcasm is rooted in derision for those who didn’t vote like them. Implying they deserve it. Even if they do or don’t deserve, what it means generally for us as country is bigger than a few laughs at supposed enemies.

Either way this is not the time to be playing. We play too much with important stuff.

So Dbanj is the defendant in his own case that he’s suing? grin

I leave you to your “logic”. Of course I’m emotional. As usual. When it’s a woman and a man having a debate, How could it possibly be that I the woman could be logical?

I would be lying to myself if for one minute I imagined that you’d come away from this interaction learning something. Even if to save your life.

Dbanj is the accuser is his case of defamation. He will have to prove she defamed him before the judge can pass judgement on her.
She’s the accuser in her own case of rape. She will have to prove he raped her before any judgement can be passed on him. Two cases. I’m loving how this simple concept is too complex for you. And on top of it, you’re trying to teach me too. grin
goodnight .

philip0906:
Lool...

You're ignorant coco. Wildly ignorant! Let me help you again. I doubt you even read the lawsuit but chose to be emotional

Here's why Dbanj is suing and what the court will consider:

1. Was there am established case of rape? No. That part of established case, is left to the accuser and her legal team plus a competent court to prove. It is not Dbanj who'll help them do their job.
2. Since there's no established case of rape anywhere, rather malicious and false (can only be proven true in a court of law) against his person, family, brand and business, he's suing for damages to that effect.

Coco, calm down and be rational for once, stop been overtly emotional.

Once more, prep your sister to get her money ready.
Crime › Re: Seyitan Babatayo Rape Accusation: D’banj Reacts, Demands N100m Compensation by cococandy(f): 6:44am On Jun 17, 2020
Mr smart. LOL smiley Some education for you if you’re humble enough to learn.

Here’s how it works.

When she’s suing him for rape, she’s the accuser. She has to prove he did it. If she can’t prove it, the case gets thrown out. Does that automatically make her go to jail? No. The court will tell her her case has no merit because of lack of evidence and will be dismissed. He’s free to go. Case ended.

Then if he Dbanj decides to sue her, it will be a different case. With another bunch of hearings, a different jury, probably another judge. He’s the accuser in that case.
He’s accusing her of defamation.
Then, the onus lies on him to prove she defamed him. The facts of her case against him which had previously been ruled on won’t be used to judge his case against her. Her case against him is a different case.
His case against her is a different case. Albeit all based on the same premise. But each case will be judged at different times. Then he will provide evidence to say “when you said I was doing this, I was in fact doing something else and I have proof”. He will provide his proof and the judge will go “yes Dbanj your case against this person has merit because you have been able to prove beyond doubt that this person defamed you“. And the judge will rule based on what the accuser (Dbanj) is demanding or what he/she (the judge) feels is appropriate.

I like how many of you are cocky and arrogant in your ignorance. And then call your intellectual betters emotional whereas the only ignorant and illogical posts here have been yours. So beautiful to watch cool

philip0906:
Let me help you coco

1. The onus lies on the accuser to prove, not the accused.
2. This particular case, is DOA. The alleged rape had a supposed venue. The venue of the alleged crime, do NOT have the accuser on their records as staying over on the day of the alleged rape.
3. What this means is, the case has been thrashed as weightless, lacking on merit and ludicrous.
4. With that, the accused can and will sue for damages and the court will worse case scenario, fine the accuser for wasting their time ala Busola Dakolo.

You see, this rape thing is not by emotions or rants. It's a serious issue but your female folks, you inclusive are making light of it and it's all butt of jokes now.

Hopefully, after Dbanj is done with your sister, the next clown out there, will know how to package her tales and do the gaddem right thing.
Crime › Re: Seyitan Babatayo Rape Accusation: D’banj Reacts, Demands N100m Compensation by cococandy(f): 6:19am On Jun 17, 2020
Actually he can provide evidence he didn’t rape her by having an airtight alibi.

If she claimed it was on a Sunday the 20th at 11pm and it so happens that he was at a concert, a club or a social gathering at that time, eye witnesses can corroborate his story and that will be evidence that she was lying. And this is just an example. There are many ways he can prove he wasn’t with her at the time of the alleged rape.

I love when people who don’t know what they are saying act all confident in their foolery. With multiple emojis for decoration too.

You absolutely thought you made sense. Nairaland lipsrsealed

philip0906:

Yeye

Just help her prepare her 100 milla, don't just show internet support for her. She'll need financial support, as she'll get to find out soon that water don pass garri.

This is besides the weightless and ridiculous rape claim. In fact, the venue of the alleged rape has clearly said they do NOT have her in their records as staying over on the day of the alleged rape. You know what that means right?

So please open a go fund me account for ya sister.
If she doesn’t pay, he can personally go to her house and drive her to jail like you ignorantly think can happen. Maybe you’ll help go pack her into the jail.

I can only hope that if he’s innocent he can actually clear himself with evidence (the same evidence he wants the accuser to provide) rather than financial intimidation. At least for the sake of his wife and kid.

Hehehehe....Them don slam your sister with 100 milla or jail, you don dey find who dey lie or not

Yeye
So the person who has more money and influence has to be saying the truth?

She can as well counter sue him and ask him to pay for raping her. All they have between them is he said she said. But I get your “logic”.

I guess he is the one who will physically pick her up and put her in jail? As in the judge, jury and executioner he is? It actually shows he’s ignorant threatening someone with jail when he’s not a judge.

All they can do is sue and counter sue each other. The judge decides who goes to jail.

What is gravy?
Gravy is a thickened sauce used for serving meat especially turkey and beef steak. And the base is often made from the meat stock and then other seasonings and thickeners are added. They pour it on the meat when it’s ready to eat.

I’ve never had gravy from anywhere before and liked it unless I made it myself. Some people make it too thick like pap. Who wants to eat meat coated in seasoned custard? grin
