Hi sorry for the late response. I make mine like jollof with fish on the side. Add a little bit of water at a time to make sure it doesn’t get soggy. That’s the only way I like it. Fish is perfect for it.

Just leave the house cleaning to her. Less work for you. If I clean and you have to clean it again because you want it to be like a 5 star hotel all the time, I’m more than happy to leave that duty for you and focus on another areas of the home. You’ve been blessed in that aspect. Don’t question it. Just enjoy it. That’s what I do.

As for having opinions about how to raise the kids, she’s their mom. Of course she has to have an opinion.
The only problem is if she’s fails to include your opinions as well. Then that’s a real problem. Ask her if she would prefer to be raising the kids all by herself? I’m sure that might give her pause to think about what she’s doing by insisting things be her way.

It depends on one's perspective about marriage; since two become one as a couple/when pursuing oneness, it is therefore the couple's - not the wife's - responsibility to help their individual extended families to the best of their ability. So, directly or indirectly, it's the man's responsibility to help his wife's parents and siblings, and vice versa.

A wife (or even a husband) can be resourceful and reasonable without earning money directly.

Male and female are not the same. We have people who argue that they are the same. I always tell people that there are 3 things that inform my teaching, scripturally tested, scientifically and statistically back.

I don't teach from sentiments. Many people try to build their scripture from sentiments so they start fighting back that oh feminism and all that. That men and women are the same. We are never the same. We have different roles.

If you ever feel strongly that you might hurt yourself, please pick up the phone and call someone. Step outside the house at that moment. Go somewhere where there are people. Anything in the moment to distract you from harmful thoughts.
