Working from home, I have been eating like 4 times a day unlike 1.5 times when I have to drive to work.

Family › Re: A Woman, Who Cannot Tolerate, Organize & Change A Man, Is Not Worthy Of A Man. by cococandy(f): 3:32am On May 11, 2020
A grown person should be organized. Why wait for a wife to organize and change you.
Change you into what? That means you’re coming into the union as a non-desirable partner and it’s up to the wife to change you. I’m guessing if you fail in your responsibilities as the husband, then the wife is to blame because she didn’t change you into the right person you’re meant to be? Well I’ve heard that before so it’s nothing new but how does that sound to you OP?

I agree on tolerance both ways. Also depends on what’s being tolerated and how many chances you expect to be given on the same issue that you’re being tolerated for. Can’t keep doing the same thing over and over and expect tolerance.

It’s a job well done

I tried cooking fried rice for the first time this afternoon and below is the result.

I washed the delicious meal down with One can of Ribena cool

@pocohantas I couldn’t follow that dooney’s recipe, I needed video in order to avoid much error

I followed the recipe here except for some few modifications. I didn’t use chicken, instead I used prawn ...:.and I also didn’t use oyster sauce

Most probably

Mac2016:
I actually believe that the guy was so calculative and wanting to use that babe as a climbing stone but yet his ego could not allow him completely play along to the end. He borrowed money just to seal the marriage like a deal towards a better end and recoup of multifold of his investment both financially and emotionally (he must have been taking some nonsense from the babe initially just to get married to her).
His pride let him down; investment went down the drains after marriage crash also...
Mission became impossible so he gave up all hopes and ended it all!

edoman2016:
How can you reason like this? Can't you read the man is a banker and not jobless. The man committed suicide because the wife simply has bad attitude and not a wife material.
That makes more sense than killing himself for a wife that he already broke up with. It’s not like she left. He initiated the break up
Family › Re: Banker Commits Suicide After Marriage He Took N3M Loan Crashed After 2 Months by cococandy(f): 5:00am On May 10, 2020
He probably committed suicide because after the divorce, he didn’t know how to pay back the money.
The wife and her family might have been his back up plan in repaying the loan. I don’t necessarily think he took his own life because he missed his wife so much.
More like he didn’t see things working out according to his plan. Which is sad. May he Rest In Peace

Wow
lebete3000:
If you know the kinda people Nurses are, you'll evacuate, eradicate, and eliminate that last statement you made.

Nurses are thieves, prostitutes, and low self esteemed people. They'll always continue to fight for equality with Doctors till this world comes to an end.

Even if you pay them above doctors, they'll still continue to fight them. Even if you make them the head of a Hospital, they'll continue to fight them.

This is ALL due to that void that's deeply and profoundly inherent in them, which will remain with them till they die.

They are like cursed Cain that'll never stop starving for blood.

What they don't know that they actually need is internal/self gratification and not the praise they get from others.

They see patients praise doctors when they get better and they get jealous, cos they feel they helped the doctors achieve such results. They won't even mind intentionally thwarting the doctor's effort at the expense of the patient, just to make him look incompetent.

They don't know the shiii we docs also go through when things go south. The suits, the insults, the internal condemnation and "not good enough" emotions that surge through us, the depression we feel when patients die in our hands, most especially when we make mistakes, or make an erroneous diagnosis.

They just want to eat their cakes and have it.

May God help the Nightingales.

Whenever such occurs, ask yourself what would cause someone who you’re not thinking about to have such deep personal negative opinions about what you’re posting. Imagine saying someone’s food is shit. Even if you don’t like the look, it doesn’t cost to look and pass instead of being hurtful. The answer is that some people feel better when they dump their negativity on you. Like it removes the burden from them or something. So don’t let it permeate.

Are you married to semi-child who has no ability to make decisions for himself?. You forced everything on him. Where was his brain when you were doing all the forcing? No accountability for his own choices?

If that’s the case, the definite course of the relationship also depends on what next you’re able to force him to do. Ask yourself if your child benefits more from being in that home or will your child benefit more if both of you are apart and not at risk of liking each other. That’s if your child is truly your excuse for still being with him.

Romance › Re: Tips For Dating A Nigerian Woman In America by cococandy(f): 7:35pm On May 08, 2020
I’ll say that on the basis of equality and fairness, things are better for women here than it is for women in Nigeria (my personal experience. Anyone feel free to disagree please) but women here still have a loooong way to go in achieving real and true equality. And it’s awork in progress. It took thousands if not millions of years to build the patriarchy, I don’t expect it will be dismantled in a few decades.

Why people think that women have overrun America (or the west as most ignorantly call all 1st world nations) is because for those who benefit from the oppression, equality seems like they are being cheated of their birthright. And they don’t know how to adjust to a world where they have to treat others like they want to be treated.

Plead:
If women in USA are as powerful as folks on this forum project them to be,the US would’ve had atleast 2 or 3 female presidents.
Unless they’re saying the women are powerful only at the homefront or family level. Such power is technically useless.

Women are always complaining about maltreatment in USA yet nairalanders(some have probably never been to USA before) want us to believe everything is rosy for the female folks in USA.
