Punchline33:We feminists do emulate and admire her quite alright. Seeing as she’s one of us. I think the message should be the other way. More men child try to be like Obama. He’s a wonderful feminist as well. |

Happy new year to all my dearest foodlanders. I wish everyone good health and more money this year. |
armyofone:I made the mix to be not too watery: and then scoop with my hand and squeeze it out from between my thumb and index finger in an upside down position. The O shape that I form with my thumb and finger helps to shape it as well. Like this. The part that’s O faces the pan and the dough drops in from there. Hopefully that’s helpful.

AgbenuAnna:mmm peppersoup. I can smell the scent leaf. |
MariaAngeles:hehehe ![]() I find that if you add a bit of flour when it’s too watery, then it makes moulding and shaping it easier. Still not guaranteed to be perfect |
MariaAngeles:I used hand. Some days they are perfect. On other days they are like amoeba ![]() |
Meanwhile I have a party to go to tonight. I’m taking puff puff with me. Once any none-Nigerian person tries puff puff once, they always ask for more. I get puff puff request often whenever I’m invited to a party.

Preparing turkey for New Years. Brined overnight and then stuffed and rubbed with seasoning mix/ herbs. stored the fridge overnight. I’ll start slow baking early in the morning.

Nigerian girl like this would have been called olosho. Low self esteem niggurs. |
I’ll use vodka. Thanks Prestonn: |
Someone gave me this traditional German mulled blueberry wine. Apparently it’s a holiday drink over there usually drunk during the cold and you’re supposed to warm it up before drinking. ![]() I’ll see what it tastes like. But I’m intrigued. I need drink recipes please. Wine, champagne and cocktail lovers. Hit me up.

Spectacular shollish: |
Prestonn:Cocktail recipe. Thanks ![]() |
Cool ![]() |
Mobree:Honestly Some of the things I read here sometimes . Smh |
johnkey:Collect your baby? ![]() This is why many of you can’t have peace. Until you recognize the woman you’re in a relationship as someone who has equal stakes in the union as you do, and deserves the same respect as you, you can’t have peace. Unless your dealing with a zombie with no self esteem or mind of her own. You will collect the child from the mom like you sent her to fetch a cup of water for you and you’re just back to collect it. |
So you’re threatening divorce thinking she will beg you? ![]() It’s obvious you’re problematic because you would have rushed to divorce her if she was the one threatening divorce. Your choleric aka prideful personality can’t take it that she doesn’t want to be a doormat to you. I’m happy she can afford her personal stuff And doesn’t have to come to you for that otherwise you would have turned her into a doormat. If you’re interested in sharing bills with her, I hope you’re equally as interested in doing the other parts of the marriage work with her. |
Nne you’re on fire pocohantas: |
ubcandid:Then you have no idea what you’re talking about |
ubcandid:And the character of the girl matters because? So we will know whether to stop focusing on the criminals and start blaming the girl? |
Because you’re a virgin right? Ifakiland: |
If you had any sense you’d know that this can happen to anyone. In the face of a gruesome murder, you’re more concerned about who she may or may not be sleeping with. slowpoke. northvietnam: |
back2sender:Why don’t any of you have sense? So a 22 year old can’t have a boyfriend? How do people get married? Same you would shame a 30 year old who isn’t married. But you have a problem with a 22 year old woman dating a man. |
Shut the fvck up northvietnam: |
Sigh |
All these useless fathers |
bukatyne:Also why we need to focus on raising sons who care for more than themselves, their ego and their satisfaction. It takes empathy and kindness to be able to care for a sick person even when it costs you so much. We are raising boys to have an astounding lack of empathy. That’s why they can’t understand why it’s not okay to do certain things to people when you expect differently from them. Like abandoning a sick spouse. |
OP this is a classic case of for better for worse. It means in sickness and in health. For poorer or richer. Exactly all the things that you have no control over and your spouse has no control over. But both of you still decide to love each other through it all. Nigerian men only think for better or worse means when they decide to keep mistresses outside or beat you up. That’s when they remember that you have a vow to keep. Not them. You’re justified to leave him if he can’t cope with your mental health issues. You owe yourself love and peace of mind. Don’t expect it from anyone else much less someone who’s unwilling to give it. Anything that aggravates your condition should be removed. Women have hurt themselves and their children when struck with ppd. It’s a delicate situation that doesn’t need to be made worse with abuse from someone you’re codependent on. I won’t necessarily judge him because coping with mental health is not easy. But I don’t have any sympathy or pity for him either. Because I know you would stick with him if he was the one who got sick after having your child. You would probably be running from church to church seeking prayers and healing for him. Do what makes you happy |

Number one, your curses won’t work. I don’t like to shyt on people’s beliefs but this mindset of thinking anyone has power to affect another person in some sort of supernatural way is asinine (for lack of a better word. Apologies). However, If it makes you feel better though, like you’ve gotten your own pound of flesh by uttering those words, then maybe that’s it working for you. But it will never affect him. I have myself said curse words in anger . Deep down I know they don’t and will never work even though I wished they would. Like when I see someone killed in a gruesome manner and I go “it will never be well with the killers”. those are just consolation words that help us feel better at the moment because we desperately want to believe we will get justice by some benevolent superbeing who’s looking out for us. That brings me to my second point. You should have been looking out for yourself. No one else will. Do you think you can leave home for two weeks without calling and come back to meet him waiting for you at home? I don’t know who’s teaching you ladies to accept behavior that won’t be accepted from you. It’s gotten to the point where it is now because you allowed such from the beginning. You don’t have a husband. Never actually did. |
