Quoted you because I didn’t know the two accounts are the same.

You my enemy? Lol

You take yourself too seriously cheesy

kunleweb:
I dey my own jeje you quoted me

Before you continue with the emotional tirade, I've never been discreet about my identity to you and our enmity. I also didn't dismiss your opinion and accorded you with respect and great civility in our interactions. I only asked you one thing to point out one instance alone where I derided women, or bashed ladies or treated y'all with disrespect. If you can atleast be as rational and intelligent as you claim, we will have a more meaningful conversation. Don't you agree?

Kunle I didn’t even know you’re the same account as the healthcare (or something) account. I wouldn’t have quoted that your post even though I agreed with it. I would have just read and moved on.

That’s what I usually do for accounts that I know for certain are bent on disrespect. Like you can’t even agree with them without them finding a way to turn around and give a low unnecessary blow. How much more when you disagree with them. Then it’s all ad hominem and personal attacks that’s usually not related to the topic.

Or trolling with multiple troll accounts.

So kunle is healthcare. Noted
kunleweb:
Hahaha you see why I keep saying you're seeing things that aren't there. Apart from the fact that I've consistently taunted cococandy as shiny skull over the years, I've never attacked her persona just like that and consider her to be a classy, strong, intelligent, independent, strong-willed woman, but doesn't mean I should bow to whining. No, I don't need validations trust me. I don't give a fvck.

Well we still think it’s insulting.

And you got the proof you asked for.

uninspired07:
If these assertions are what you hold on to to justify your view that I am rude, then I wholeheartedly adopt & hold on to them.

Nobody will bully me to change my ideology. It took me many years to arrive at these conclusions & no emotional blackmail will make me abandon my beliefs.

Have a profitable rest of the day.

OMG. I changed it to attention not politeness.

I apologize though if you’re hurt.

I have nothing to gain from being rude to women because it won’t change anything.
Apology accepted. And no I’m not hurt. Lol cheesy

I just felt like I wasted my time. Was envisaging a normal convo until it turned south.

Haha. Crack my ribs. The modern women has gotten mad from too much knowledge and cant separate reality from illusion
Sounds like high praise mr kunleweb.

What next?

I’m actually astonished y’all can’t tell when you’re insulting women. It’s now second nature to you. Such that you get surprised for being called on it.

I don’t engage anyone who won’t take me seriously because they believe I’m a woman hence my judgment must be clouded by illusion or whatever it is you’re thinking at the moment.

Sorry if you’re used to continuing in conversations where you say such to women and they laugh it off and still go back and forth with you.

Stating you have no politeness to offer any woman, Implying that women do not need courtesy, or respect from men but only money must be high praise where you come from. @OP

once I get a hint of disrespect, I’m out.

So have fun.

I can’t believe that women on this thread will derail this thread and falsely allege that it’s a woman-bashing thread. There’s no evidence of such happening on this thread. Anyway, I thank all the women that have contributed to this thread. You have added further to gender related jurisprudence on NL.
The generalizations are insulting to start with.
Family › Re: Is This A Healthy Dose Of Self Esteem Or Should I Be Worried? by cococandy(f): 11:34am On Dec 27, 2019
@bold . You must be kidding me.
Like the premise of the thread isn’t gender based to begin with. And then instead of keeping it above board, y’all went the usual way.

Well your female influence didn’t seem to take. Might have to go back for more tutoring

Read your posts again
healthserve:
As usual psychological instability. So you understand my own comment/beliefs/values more than me. Exactly what this thread points to. That actions and deeds are not always interpreted by women as they are,, but will always interpret things, albeit from a faulty internal mirror/psyche/logic/perspective.

Nice try trying to seek in gender-based differences.

If you must know, I'm from a fam of six ladies and have about 5 females around me under my mentorship. If it must please you to know, I've constantly being around, tutored, in career and in my business hire 70%ladies to men, cause of my belief in women empowerment, my default compass swings to choosing women and tutor them with the skills to do the job than hiring men with the already attained skills whenever I'm considering hiring. I've always been a pro-healthy men and women romantic relations.

So please permit me to have my views without subjecting me to some skewed illogical misinterpretations madam

Change women from what to what? What is it that you’re seeing women are and can’t be changed from?

And what response are you expecting from me? To tell you that you’re right or try to disprove you?

So that you and I can have a whole 20 pages of conversation about why I’m not worthy of your respect( all the while laughing with you). Or maybe you pay me a measly compliment about how I’m not like other girls because I’m currently agreeing with you.

I won’t be having a discourse with you henceforth since you’re bent on disrespect. Women with healthy self esteem do not think it’s worth engaging with anyone who is disrespectful.

Happy New Year kiss
uninspired07:
No. You’re wrong about this. I have come to accept that no amount of online bashing will change women. What we are seeing is who they are.

I just did this thread to sample other opinions about my approach to things. And believe you me, I appreciate all the contributions of the women on this thread.

No amount of online bashing will change women so what’s the point?

Your first post in response to my comment on this thread was that you agree with me which you don’t often do.

Do you know why you agreed with me? Because I told a man not to beg a woman for love.
If I had the same message for woman. Telling her to have healthy self esteem and not beg a man, I would be a bitter (oops the f word) for wanting to turn women into lonely old cargoes.

And that’s why we never agree.

Just one half pages gone and you’re already rolling in the mud with demeaning posts about women. I don’t want to quote all of them but your posts show how you actually feel about women.

Formerly I would have said let’s have a healthy debate. But I’ve grown past that stage where I indulge boys/men who have made up their minds to be disrespectful about women and expect courtesy and conversation about it.

Too bad

It didn’t take a minute for the thread to degenerate into the woman-bash fest it was probably intended to be from the beginning.

Shame on me for thinking it could possibly go another way.

OP good for you that you’re only happy with the posts that validate your bias. Good luck.

A man’s convictions & strength of character in Nigeria?

I rather stick to believe that a man’a value is tied to his economic value.
Okay.

Modified.

Note that no one is asking you to desist from seeking financial freedom. That’s important for both man and woman (even children grin) . However, there’s a more fulfilling thing to be experienced for having a man who has more than money to offer. And this is coming from a woman. Unless you as a man have dated both a poor man and rich man and decided for yourself which one is better. Listen to the women. we are the ones dating these men.

You can make money, it’s wonderful. but also build yourself and your personality please. Otherwise you’ll just be a moneybag that will become irrelevant once the woman starts getting her own money.

If u have lived long enough u will notice that no matter how a person is, someone of d opposite sex must like and want them. Begging is a sign of weakness, women hate weakness in men.
Politeness is a virtue, virtues can't be wrong. Finally, a man's worth is not "intricately" connected to his economic value. That's a lie and an inadequate human view that breeds all d vices and monstrous attitudes we see in men today.
A man's value is in d depth of his convictions and the strength of his character.
A girl may not see this line of thought, a woman will definitely do and it's more than age- the difference between a girl and a woman.

Same here. Relationship flings both ways. Don't beg anyone even in marriage . I've also begged in the past and what I've noticed is excessive good manners areal ways abused by the recipients. Hold off excessive politeness is one of the key to maintaining a black woman thesedays. Good treatment is always and always and always considered weakness
I see someone already said it before I did.

Yes even after 30 years of marriage. Don’t beg.

You can try to reason with the person if it’s a relationship you’re interested in keeping. There are many ways to work on a failing relationship but begging isn’t one of them.

Frankly it inflates the egos of folks who are innately abusive by nature and makes them treat you even worse because they enjoy seeing you diminished.

Rare coming from a female. Thanks.
You don’t follow my posts then.

Never beg for love. And don’t grovel where you’re not wanted. Even after marriage. You work to get into a relationship and work to stay in it as long as the other person is equally invested and wants it as much as you do. That’s the only sweet type of love I know cheesy

Otherwise it’s just needless pain in the name of love.

Exactly. I don’t even have any politeness to give to any woman, except my mother ( I know this will attract insults, but it’s just the fact). Thanks for your contribution.
Well this is a totally different matter. And needs to be addressed separately.

If you can’t be polite, means you have bigger issues than not wanting to grovel. Also a sign of immaturity.

Thanks. But having to beg is a big issue with me. I can’t just bring myself to begging and chasing. I am getting too old for that.
Don’t beg for love.

You can do a chase. In a mature way. That’s different.

But all that begging and yapping about how you can’t live without her and bla bla bla , only reeks of desperation. frankly women don’t believe y’all when you do that.
