Family › Re: Monogamy Is Unnatural by cococandy(f): 2:42pm On Jan 05, 2020
You made some good points.

However, nature also endowed us with higher intelligence for a reason. Balance is key.

Over procreation will surely lead to diminished resources and reduced lifespan. Controlled population might be one of the reasons why the human race is still here today, Considering how destructive we are to Mother Earth. Let us explode and see how mama gets angry and wipes us off her surface. I really believe that.

The most optimal solution would be a population suited to available resources.

Monogamy while it may be unnatural for us to deliberately seek it, comes with it an order that would disappear if random procreation with different mates were to be the norm.

Unless of course one gender wants to claim themselves polygamous while maintaining that the other is monogamous. Thus brewing resentment and inequality.
MurderX:
Supported, monogamy is completely unnatural both for men and women otherwise nature would have designed a vaginaa to only fit a specific peniss.

Procreation of life is the most crucial natural order not monogamy, polygamy, polyandry or any form of socially induced marriage system.

If a man and a woman are left on an island, nature will direct them to have sexx so that the human species will continue to exist. The natural thing for this man and woman to do will not be to seek for a priest or imam to wed them rather their body will direct them to love themselves, make love and have sexx for procreation

If you leave a chinese man with an african woman or you leave the pope with a prostitute for a long time alone in a closed environment, after a while nature will make these two to fall in love and have sexx, not for their sake but for the sake of procreation.

So these things that we call feelings and love is a natural leading in the direction of the survival of the human species and be careful how you fight it because of your inferior religous, social, cultural, economic or whatever myopic reasoning space that you have confined yourself to.

Last night I walked down edgware road and oxford street and I was sorry for the british people, the unnatural things they did, the birth control of 40 - 50yrs ago is hunting them today as indians, africans & arabs who flowed with nature have taken over majority of urban UK and soon they will control their economy and government. The British are becoming a minority in their state because they placed their socioeconomic system over their natural system. Whenever you place your social system over nature be sure that nature will fight back at you and make you a minority and if you continue be sure that you will tend to extinction.

In Nigeria, while the south aligns with the lean western and religious family structure of a man, wife and two or four kids, the north is naturally procreating with four wives in large quantities. Surely, numbers counts and over time the north is becoming more of a majority and the south is becoming more of a minority because the south has conformed to its socioeconomic system above its natural system so it tends to become weaker and a minority - think of how major ethnic groups in Nigeria emerged and now ovveride the minor groups, its all about population and numbers. Hence over time, nature will surely empower the north above the south because while the south is saving and thinking of its today, the north is securing its 100yrs from now.

We must learn to respect the place of our nature over our unnatural awareness.

Such an unnecessarily long story. All that part about your ex didn’t have to be part of it.

You should have started from when the new girl came to your office and even then a lot of the details are not necessary. Tiring.

Also I have no advice for you.

The girl is the one who needs advice. At 23 men swarm us like flies on sweet mango . If she’s not careful, she might make a mistake. She seriously needs advice now.

Those types of women are not the majority.
MISSCONGENIALITY:
I've seen women who have been married a long time and they stay at home doing nothing. Some done have kids yet. I was telling one to go an acquire a skill if she doesn't want to do a paid job but she told me she can't work. She's at home blowing like a balloon and tomorrow now she will claim she deserve part of of the man's assets makana o bu wife. Who wife help

They aren't idle but unproductive.
Do you know all they do that keeps them faux-busy can be solved by a 30-40k a month by means of hiring proper help? undecided In Nigeria that is.
Jesus christ!!
Some people don’t want their kids to be raised by nannies. Even your fellow men kick against it. They refer to the women who go chase careers and hire house help to take care of the children as bitter feminists. The bitter feminists who don’t put their families first. They blame them if the man cheats on them with the house help. If she was available, he won’t have done it. You already know this.

But yes I agree with you partially on this. I would advice any Nigerian woman whose husband isn’t being hands-on with childcare and house work to get help so that she can pursue her own career as well. To avoid this type of wickedness befalling her in her old age.

Stay at home wives are not idle but the rest of your points stands true

MISSCONGENIALITY:
It doesn't and will never be. So any lady accepting the job if a stay at home idle wife should know that she's doing herself no good. No man will even notice your contribution to the family. If she's capable of taking care of herself, she can move out if that will make her happy.
Ladies be wise, don't stay idle in the name of marriage. Get something doing let money be entering your account. Don't give all your money to your husband because minus devorce, t u still need personal money.

If you’re married, don’t pretend to be single. It will backfire. When you eventually want to bring your family over, what will you say? That you just got married? It’s just more lies to cover previous lies and at some point you won’t be able to keep track.

If you were truly single, the benefit of it would be the responsibility of your family won’t be there while you’re still trying to find your footing.

Don't make this a Nigerian thing.
No man in the world like a liability in the name of housewife undecided
I didn’t make it a Nigerian thing so to say. I simply stated that young girls should learn from this thread and then plead quoted me to say this is Nigeria not USA. Nairalanders are fond of leaving your point to attack where you’re posting from. As if that makes your point invalid.

As for liability, some men want working wives, some want house wives, some women want one or the other. A housewife is not a liability when the staying at home is planned well with a purpose. Not all working wives are independent. Different situations require different approaches.

But yes I’ll always encourage a NIGERIAN woman to get her own money since our laws are yet to advance to the stage where stay-at-home moms are protected in the case of a breakup.

Do we have community laws in Nigeria? Where everything I own and everything my husband owns will be split equitably in the case of a divorce (regardless of who caused the divorce) so that no one gets cheated? are we at the point where everyone understands this and we don’t have to talk about it all the time?

If we don’t have such laws yet and our mindsets are not there yet, then my advice still stands. No Nigerian girl should agree to be a housewife for any man. They don’t like them like that.

Also, getting married early does not stop anyone from seeking financial freedom. My point is whatever they do, they can be taught to never settle for being home raising kids and not making their own money since the Nigerian man will always want to short change them at the end of the day.

You folks are just arguing against logic.

Family › Re: My Mom Is Suggesting A Divorce From My Dad by cococandy(f): 6:41am On Jan 04, 2020
There’s a reason why it is so. (The marriage as a priority aspect). And @bold is a lie.

But again living wherever doesn’t change the validity of my point. Young girls can learn to say no to dependence in the name of being good wives who want to put their homes first to their own detriment . instead of being told that’s the way it is and there’s nothing they can do about it. They can be taught differently.

It’s almost as if we are too happy to point out the problem but reluctant to do anything about it.
Plead:
Which young girls? grin you live in USA not Nigeria. grin

The young girls you’re talking about have only marriage on their mind during nysc and after serving the next thing is to rush into marriage ,they don’t care about having 50k in their account sef grin and will be very happy staying at home as housewives. grin

Forget all these internet talks ....in real life, most Nigerian women are still dependent on men, ‘only few are bread winners, well to do/ financially stable, or even have the mindset to make their own money and liberal’.
