Oh sorry. I don’t know why I assumed that sassysure: |
It’s breadfruit seeds. Not groundnut. It’s common in the eastern part of Nigeria Fhemmmy: |
And they will even work hard to please you because of their competition. Life is good ![]() Mariangeles: |
The website is called carrygo.com. Check them out. I even saw they have oxford cabin biscuits. Proper Nigerian seller if you ask me. I can relate babe. I’ve been wanting to make native rice and abacha but my husband is not into those things. He will just abandon the whole pot for me. I told him we will have to employ a family of proper Nigerians to eat food for us. That way I can practice all the recipes I put on hold because I don’t know who will eat them. Lol at drinking tea up and down ![]() sassysure: |
I’m telling you. desire222: |
My name na patience henceforth sassysure: |
Guys I’m in tears of joy now. Never thought I’d eat ukwa again for a long time. I found this website on a random search and ordered ukwa from them. They are based in Texas and my items got to me in less than 3 days. The ukwa is even fresher than I thought I’d be given that it’s been dried a bit to preserve it. And only $8 shipping fee They also have kuli kuli, stock fish, banga spice. I’ll be ordering again from them. The customer service was also on point. I don’t even know who this lady is (calls herself Mary) but this is how you do business. Wait for the cooked ukwa okay? ![]()

Well she’s only 3 and she looks like she’s 5 so I don’t think she will starve. I just pray she develops good eating habits not the American habits smartmom: |

You know that feeling when you eat stuff you know is not good for your heart but you eat it anyway and promise yourself you will work out later. ![]() That’s the guilt fried food gives me. Fried is yummy because it’s forbidden ![]() loveymom: |
Look at you. You’re still on Nairaland ![]() Yes I’ll think about it. I’ve been told one too many times. Maybe the universe is sending me a message. Afam4eva: |
Mariangeles:Absolutely. I usually use a blend of hot peppers, garlic and ginger steeped in cooking oil for the aroma and heat. Then add McCormick blend of spices for flavor. Then maggi, salt and chicken cubes for taste. The quantity you use depends on the amount you are making and how rich or mild you want the taste to be. Also the pepper/ginger/garlic paste quantity used depends on how fragrant and hot you want it to be. I often make the blend of peppers ahead of time and save it in the fridge. It last a long time. The oil helps it to retain its heat and flavor so it doesn’t evaporate. It just makes cooking easier for me as I just scoop a spoonful or two and add to anything I’m making without worrying about cleaning blender in between cooking. Use your favorite hot peppers and the amount of ginger and garlic you want. You have to tell those you live with that it’s not stew because it will look like stew. ![]() The McCormick spices I used are pictured below. I use a tablespoon of each.

And it’s healthier than fried But I like fried too. I just feel guilty when I fry my chicken ![]() loveymom: |
Overripe is a requirement ![]() It’s the moistest and most flavorful way to get that banana into the bread loveymom: |
Boiled eggs, spicy baked chicken and spicy vegetable stir fry for the the fit fam. Eating healthy can still be tasty.
|
Yes. Those are yum. I left these for a while in the fridge and they became sweeter with time. loveymom: |
Snack for the adults. Sweet red bubbly and green grapes

If only she would eat it. Just a few bites not even tasting the chicken and it all goes to waste. I’ll keep trying ibkayee: |
I’m not arguing with you about the might of America. You didn’t have to go into that long post to tell me something I already know. Yet I’m telling you I love Canada on a more emotional level. You know that patriotism is also a feeling and that’s a feeling USA doesn’t evoke very much. (At least for me). And that’s the only area I love Canada more for. Personally I’m just glad I can benefit from the USA and still experience Canada as often as I can when work allows. franchasng: |
I’m a USA citizen but I love Canada with all my heart. I always visit Canada whenever the opportunity arises and I’m always sad to go back home to US. USA may be the greatest country in the world based on power and economy and tech etc but greatness also depends on how living there makes you feel and I love the feeling Canada evokes in me. USA is great for my pocket and for that I’ll give it my loyalty because I love money very much. That’s the honest truth in my experience. |
Southern style Mac and cheese with baked chicken for the little miss.

Times when I’m very ashamed to be Nigerian |
I would device an appropriate punishment. Nothing physically harmful or emotionally harmful. First of all I won’t have an underage maid. Martin0: |
What type of horrible wickedness is this? |
You are all such responsible young men. Getting high and having group sexx with random women. All of you . Not one of you could have the common sense to caution the others. What a wonderful group of guys you are. They should also test for HIV. I have them HIV as well. Regret won’t cure that one IprintMONEY: |
