if you don’t have a scale, you can use cups. It’s usually about 4 parts butter to one part flour. If you use one cup flour, then use 1/4 cup butter. Will give you same consistency

That’s being said , if he has thoroughly searched his heart and he believes he’s doing this for the right reason (not infatuation) and that he can actually do it when it starts getting tough, then I can point out a few positives that I already see in the woman.

1)She’s brave to walk away from an abusive marriage with three kids. If she lives in Nigeria, she’s a really strong mama. That’s the kind of strong woman you want as an ally. On your side not against you.

2) she’s not desperate to hook up. some women because of societal pressures and mockery often latch onto the next guy that proposes marriage even if it means giving up their kids maybe to grand parents or relatives. Personally, I don't like marriage but I know I will have to do it just to please my parents at least and that means an automatic doom for another woman who will surely have different expectation.

99% of the women in the aforementioned marriages contribut at least 60% of the financial burden in the home...I have heard an earful with complaints from them on how their husbands are not bringing in much financially...

They do all the house chores,cook,take care of the kids,work and bring in more money than their husbands.Most married women will not open up to you about the stress they are going through in other to 'cover their husbands unclothedness'..but the mega stress is Real!!!!...And the men very ungrateful and difficult.
