I don’t think he just seared it. He might have searched the skin side down but the top felt different. There’s a glaze and crunch on the top of it m that you can’t really see but you feel and taste it when you bite into it.

But it was olive oil for sure on the fish. The veggies were buttered and seasoned as well. Now if only I knew exactly what he used cheesy

shaybebaby:
Looking at the Salmon, I'd say the chef seasoned it with black peppers, salt and either parsley or oregano before searing it in a pan. (using olive oil)

Those tomatoes look like plum tomatoes so would have seared them too in the pan, steamed the green beans and drizzled a bit of olive oil once cooked.

Na my opinion o, before babes tries my ogbonge recipe and thinks wtf! tongue

So she should help the man bring in another woman into her own house? In an attempt to deal with the man?

What does marriage mean to you guys?

ClimberG:
Here is my suggestion... Your husband has succeeded in making you feel so insecure in both of you's home. Since he keeps threatening you with a second wife, let him go ahead and get the so called second wife na. Then team up with the second wife and you guys deal with him mercilessly. If possible sef, arrange the chic for him undercover. If your husband has money, hehe you guys know how to handle that part cheesy

I have to point this out though....Having four kids under six years is one mistake you made. As a woman, your life should not only be centered around marriage and children. You practically turned yourself into a chicken puffing out babies and ofcourse that accounts for the stress you are going through. Your husband feels you dont have any bargaining chip anymore so you are basically at his mercy footstool. Well the mistake has been made, and its time to chat a way forward.

Dinner

I didn’t cook it but we ate it

I’ve been really slacking in the kitchen for a long time now. No motivation to cook.

Salmon with veggies ( this was so good. I’d pay for the recipe but I’m sure the chef would never give it)

Pasta and sauce

Seafood pasta shell with cheese, clams, squid and shrimp.

It’s because she’s a girl

The average Nigerian (male or female) is a woman-hating pleb. Even when they don’t state it outrightly like that fool did, their actions and indirect comments show you they are looking for a way to make whatever it is that happened the woman’s fault. Even when it’s totally unwarranted

I feel you OP

I’m around dying people Every. Single. Day.

That kind of thing makes you personally immune to fear of death. I will only feel bad for my loved ones because they will miss me. But that’s it.

Make your every day count not just to other people, but to yourself. At the end, all you have is either ego integrity or despair. If you lived to only please others to your own gross detriment , it will lead to despair in the end.

But knowing you lived a life that brought you closer to your dream and that you were passionate about something during your lifetime, will lead to ego integrity no matter what age you get called away.

I really don’t have any fear of death as it is now.
But if I have a choice, I’d prefer a dignified one.

By that I mean no respiratory complications, no trauma, no ascites and no cachexia.
Just a glorious she-looks-like-she-is-sleeping-but-she-is-really-dead kind of death.

Family › Re: Depressed And Unhappy In My Marriage by cococandy(f): 9:59pm On Jun 29, 2018
There’s no reward for dying from stress.
If you stress yourself to death, people will pity him. “Poor guy. His wife left him with four kids.”
The new wife will be in before your funeral ceremony is forgotten. Grim but true.

Stop doing everything by yourself. Learn to delegate. The house won’t collapse if you tell one or two of the kids to go their dad for help with getting ready for school while you do other things.
I know that this may be hard seeing as he’s already disrespectful enough to tell you that he will bring another woman into your home. It also depends on when he usually leaves home for the day.

However miracles do happen and you might be surprised he will co-operate with you especially if he senses that there might be a reward waiting later wink

So his wife is a prostitute?

Plep

mimimile93:
A lizard can never give birth to a chameleon
The problem is from the root (ur wife).
Sorry for saying this. Naija women are all prostitutes.

My advice: Don't let her know you've caught her. Keep it cool. If you do, next time she will be extremely careful. Find a good day sit her down and educate her on sex education. The dangers of early sex and all that..
Don't beat her o or get angered with her. Just keep it cool.

Get a different opinion

Sometimes a viral infection can alter the results so they have to be sure before they give you a final result.

A different opinion might calm your nerves.

If you’ve never slept with a woman (or man), have not shared needles or sharps with anyone in less than 6 months (or ever) and have not received a recent blood transfusion, then you shouldn’t be too worried.

Just think within yourself and try to figure out if you might have been exposed in any way to the virus. If none comes to mind, relax and wait for your results. Good luck buddy.

I know this must be hard for you. Fingers crossed everything works out great for you.

Okay now I get it.
I have always read here that the women always have their was in America. Seeing them in the list was surprising.
Women don’t always have their way in America.
That’s a nairaland urban myth.

You should also remember that to equality feels like oppression to the oppressors. So all those their uncles and relatives that they use as reference point (when describing how women take over men in America) are only pissed that they can’t get away with treating their wives like crap like they freely would back home. That’s the origin of that baseless myth

Maybe the list was made by a bitter feminist lipsrsealed
But how did America make the list? With laws that are very favourable to women. How?
Even if the laws are favorable (which is not necessarily true), it doesn’t mean there aren’t people who will flout the laws. There are sexist practices in America especially by conservatives.

And women in America tend to be very very outspoken against any slight form of mistreatment. So America will always makes the list forever and ever because the women will never stop complaining about any slight injustice. No matter how small.

I think awareness has to be created about child proofing here. So that the child can play freely and explore in the area we have cordoned for them.

Children are attracted to wires, switches and many electrical items that are dangerous. How many times will we see them go there. And i don't buy the idea of holding them down somewhere instead of allowing them explore.

We will be fine.

You’re only looking for people who will help you bash your wife. If you like don’t pick solution from feasible options you have on here.

When she’s managing one of your so called companies, who’s watching the baby?

JustAsking247:
As for my wife's unemotional attitude, like someone said, I found out that was the way she was brought up by an uncaring dad who had several women as wives and lots of 'abandoned' kids for their mothers to care for. Her mother had to over-labour herself to keep up. (By the way her mom passed on 2years ago (may her soul RIP).

Each time i try to speak with her, I always remind her that the world has moved beyond the days of our parents.
That cos her parent were that 'careless' doesn't mean she should be with her kids. Infact, I expected her to make up her mind to give her kids the best that her own parent couldn't afford- Her attention.

My own dad was a semi-tiger while growing up and also a chronic wife-batter, but I made up my mind never to touch my wife (the temptation though) or be the kind of dad he was to us. Mom in spite of the stress he made her go thru was still there for us and never made us see life from the negative angle.
