Equal pay for THE SAME JOB not equal pay across all jobs. You might want to know what you’re talking about before opening your mouth GraGra247: Same reason why heavy duty, heavy task, rigor demanding duties in an establishment are handed to the men.
Now feminists in America and the west are demanding equal pay with the men that are assigned to do the heavier and more rigorous tasks and America in their usual "mumuness" towards every "garbage" rights women demand are paying attention.
In every establishment in the western world and world over women are understably treated with some level of tenderness and men are handled tough. Most rough and difficult tasks that are considered unladylike and inconveniencing to the women are handed to the men without hesitation.
If a woman sneezes and claims to be ill she's "more likely" to get sympathy and a permit to stay off work than a man.
If a woman so much as smiles for her boss everyday and buys him a nice gift, she's very likely going to get a double promotion with goodies and an exotic weekend in Paris. No man gets that easy privilege.
So many of such factors exist in every work place environment for women that aren't available to men.
Yet the men aren't complaining but feminists want equal pay with their male counterparts that bear the brunt and don't get these soft privileges. |

Can we all see why we need sharia law in Nigeria? Only Islamic laws can rid this country of this kinds of immorality. In saner climes like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Uzbekistan, such people are beheaded or publicly flogged to serve as a deterrent to others. I hope the federal government can enforce Islamic teachings in all schools of the country so gradually everyone will understand the tenets of Islam |

I couldn’t agree more. You guys said it all LogicStatement: That man is an ungrateful person. He thanked only the pastor but forgot to thank the soldiers who left their duty post to look for him and found him in the bush, helped him, conveyed him to the different hospitals, and paid for the transportation. He also forgot to thank his conductor who stood by him all this while and went as far as getting the soldiers to rescue him instead of them to run for their lives. That's sacrifice! He forgot also, to be very appreciative to the unknown man who appeared from nowhere, left his own business and assisted a complete stranger to drive down to another state in order to seek medical attention for this half dead man. And lastly, he forgot the ambulance man who despite being rejected in two different hospitals still agreed to drive him with a complete stranger to Nnewi. How much more the doctors (and other health workers in Nnewi) who responded quickly to save his life unlike their colleagues in Delta state that rejected him? This is a typical example of a good Samaritan story. All these people are all good Nigerians. Life is once man, always be thankful to everyone who helped and be grateful to God who brought them your way. GrammarCheck: He did not thank the doctors in nnewi who must have used torchlight to save his life... But he is thanking his pastor who was at home counting tithes and offering.
Kontinu... billyG: The man fail to thank d people who really contribute to save his life...d conductor,d soldiers who wuld hav suspected an ambush,d ambulance driver,d stranger,d team of doctors that operate on him.....but gives all thanks to a useless glib, extortionist he call ''my pastor'' |

This man feels threatened cos she's in her parents house, had it been she was somewhere else do you think he wudnt have bundled her and his kids back home,
Check his write up he contradicted himself at first, making it sound like she was always at her parents house from onset when it was actually 2 years ago,
Violence was involved dats why she packed and left and he cant do anything cos of where she is dats why he went the-law way,
He's just trying to prove he's the man cos he doesnt want people to say his wife left with his kids, he doesnt have control so he needs to paint her black,
That woman is remorseful for what she did, if she is not she wud have gladly divorce him. |

I wish you healing hedonistic: Another 'nice guy' bites the dust. You were dating a so-called Corper serving in Cross River State (who was of course fucking a couple of guys there) and she was visiting you in Lagos every weekend - for which you were paying for flight tickets EVERY WEEKEND (minus other standard mende mende expenses)? ? ? As who or as what? As per say you be Aliko Dangote's treasurer abi wetin? Why do you re.ta.rded nice guy fools spend so much money on worthless idiots? Well, whatever happened to you serves you right.
That said, I should reiterate the Gospel truth: love is a scam. Don't take any girl seriously. Don't think you should go out of your way to do anything or commit to her because you think you love her and vice versa. Don't ever get emotional. They're all mostly scammers. What's there to gain for you as a man? Nothing. Any bitch can give you sex. Any bitch can give you a child (verified by. DNA). But this whole relationship, commitment and marriage thing is too one-sided (in favour of females) and often has NO meaningful benefit to the man. It only comes with unnecessary pain and woes. If you see a pretty face, ass, hips, boobs or whatever else that tickles your lust, just Bleep it and move on. Catching feelings always leads to these kinds of miserable outcomes. |

Na so na Who doesn’t know nairaland hypocrisy. desreek9: The hypocrisy here stinks to high heavens cos it's the womans fault, nobody bother to say the famous "LETS HEAR THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY, DONT JUDGE",
why would a mother not live with her husband for 2 years? why would she claim domestic violence and her mother supports her if it isnt true (from his write up he didnt deny that fact)?
this man is fvcking rich, he can bribe policemen, lawyers to vouch for him and paint him WHITE AS SNOW,
agreed she commited adultery, what happen to "forgive and forget, try to bring your family together, pray to God to change her" that all of you use to preach cos obviously she doesnt want divorce?
Someone was even betting the marriage was inter-tribal when it all boils down to personality, smh!!
People here are hypocrites cos i know if it was reversed, every idiot will tell the wife to forgive the husband bla bla bla.

This HenryCavill: Interesting post although it reeks of pride. 1. Your in-laws rarely visited you and you found a problem with it. 2. When things took a downward turn they became more involved you had a problem with it 3. I find it shocking that what stopped you from "slapping your wife to remove her make-up" was the fear of the state govt interfering.
Having put your business out there, I'm sure you don't mind if I make it my business also and contribute my 2 cents.
Had your relatively well to do in-laws not meddled when things took a downward turn with you I'm pretty sure someone would have called them wicked for not bothering. Your story about them being relatively wealthier I believe was told from a place of spite and jealousy.
You didn't come from a broke background too, I mean how many people can afford to buy themselves a car talk more of give their child one after graduation.
I don't think you like your in-laws very much and frankly you don't love your wife either. You're bent on becoming more successful than them not solely for your own good but to rub it in their nose.
I don't know the relationship you have with them but I can bet it's a toxic one. Who gets angry at a father sending his daughter money married or not. This silly African mentality of men owning their wives is what's driving this narrative. What do you even mean by "luxury food item"
You cannot bar your wife from having a relationship with her family before you they were there and the day you will slap her (which I believe is not very far) they'll be there to take her away from you.
I sincerely hope you find the courage to tell yourself the truth, see beyond your pride and understand the kind of relationship you want to have with your in-laws. |

Thank you Pataricatering: the problem with you men is your ego will never let you be reasonable ! Do you make decisions according to what’s good for your ego or what’s good for your children / family ? If you are in a situation where your children can’t eat would you refuse your in laws help because you feel too big ? A lot of the meanings you read into situations must have been subjective - I know a couple where the guys father paid for a school his son could not afford because he wanted quality education for his grandkids - exactly the same thing your wife’s parents wanted to do ! I t wasn’t a big deal because it was the mans parents paying ! Why would you hinder your children’s future because of your ego ? A couple I know eventually divorced because the girl wanted to have their child or in America but the guy could not afford it - her parents decided to pay but the guy still insisted she should never t travel because he was not the one paying ! Why would you refuse your child the opportunities ty knowing how much easier being an American citizen would make his life You men feel your egos must be worshipped like how God is worshipped - just complete nonsense ! |

What if she genuinely believes his income is legitimate? You have nerves to think another human being deserves such because she’s dating a rich guy. Many of you who comment based on this mindset do so out of plain jealousy. Are you perfect? So you consider yourself as someone who deserves such horrible death because of your imperfections? purem: Hanhan my sister is not up to that level na @the bolded
The reason to reply you was my experience has opposed to what you said
Now here is what I remembered after reading your first post:
So there is this lady I use to saw her with this guy in his car at lekki were I work, the way she smiles at the guy's words has made me identify her beautiful face and fare skin each time I saw the car, so I've been noticing them for a month or two now (though it's none of my business, maybe am just jealous to have been stalking them) So last week something tragic happens to her, Just around past six in the morning when I was trekking my way to where I work I saw this same lady and about 4 or 5 people around looking melancholic while she was bleeding from the private part seriously and she was crying from pains I heard someone among the people standing saying someone dropped her with a car
Am very sure that she knows what was coming when she was jollying with a guy she might not know the source of his income but she chooses to ignore it
I don't pity her
I've witnessed a situation like this severally |
