The 1973 Land Decree Act states that all lands within the territory of Nigeria belongs and are in control of the federal government. What it means is that, the FG can decide to collect your father's land from you at any time for national interest and then pay you full compensation. Establishing colonies in states does not mean that the lands would be collected from the owners for free and by force. Entitlements and royalties would be paid immediately and subsequently to the original owners of the land. That's the law. So, let's not always allow sentiments and tribalism becloud our sense of judgment.

In any case mentally challenged people have sex amongst themselves all the time, and what these people in Owerri did will not deter these two from finding somewhere else to c0pulate. It's inevitable. They have sexual feelings like mentally sound people. In my view it'll be totally unfair if they only have the right to relieve their sexual tensions through masturbation.

However the pertinent question here is, why deny them their fundamental right as consenting adults to have sex with each other. Nigeria is a country where we have our priorities upside down, and it's appalling.

The m0rons in this story found it was appropriate for them to prevent these adults from having sex, but would never consider taking them off the streets and rehabilitating them. Their main concern is that two mentally challenged people have no right to relieve themselves of their pent-up sexual passion or to enjoy themselves. That to me is a totally absurd and preposterous point of view.
