@bold are you sure? Because it does seem to be about who has more money. If not why is the woman getting her own money scaring the shyt out of you guys?

A husband is not a helpmate. What is he?
Do you know the meaning of helpmate?

That why many of you are useless as companions. You're presence only adds work for the woman instead of making her life less stressful. (Which is the whole point of getting married.) having some to help you so that things are less stressful for you as single person/parent.
Acidosis:
Cooking is not a function of who has less money. Stop idolizing money.
My wife will cook, and that's not because I earn more..

Many men will not cook because it is simply not "manly" for them to cook all the time. A man or woman that wants to cook will do so even while he/she earns millions.

If at some point, a woman earns so well that she can no longer take care of her house, the ideal thing is to assign some of the roles to an alternate HELPmate. A husband is not a helpmate.

Family › Re: Most Men Doesn't Want Their Wives To Be Richer Than Them, WHY? by cococandy(f): 8:56am On Oct 15, 2017
Because they don't want to be treated the way they treat their wives when they are the ones with money.

To them it seems normal of a rich man has mistresses and is waited upon hand and foot. It's okay. It's healthy. It's doesn't belittle the woman.

But once a woman is rich same things become suddenly horrible. What am I saying?
even doing half of what men do when they are rich would be an abomination of women do them.

If a rich man works hard to provide for his family, it is common sense that the wife take care of his personal needs and that of the family but if the situation were to be reversed, she's would be evil to expect him to take care of her while she's providing for the family.

Disgusting hypocrites

The problem is that sometimes the guys being cheated on by their wives are the faithful ones. It seems that what emboldens the cheating partner is usually the faithfulness of the other.
It's sad.
Family › Re: A Woman Has My Dad Under Control by cococandy(f): 4:09am On Oct 15, 2017
That's why I don't have an ounce of pity for any Nigerian man who claims he's being cheated on or that he raised kids that belong to him.
Chances are he's cheated or even he hasn't , he has enabled a cheater somehow someway by these kinds of ediotic comments they are making on this thread.

Jman06:
The hypocrisy of some Nigerian men is being exhibited on this thread. Imagine some guys typing that the man is only enjoying himself and should be allowed. See them making light of infidelity! If the woman was the one cheating, all of them would have slut-shamed her.
I wish all women whose men are cheating on could start paying them in their own coins. It will help to tame the infidelity of some men.

You're a retard
nairanaira12:
Yours is a sign of an irresponsible and unreasonable woman. Idiots like you got the feminism idea from the western countries, and your brains fail to tell you that even the westerners never make divorce their first option. They consult marriage counsellor first and try to work things out with their husbands. Wayne Rooney cheated on his wife and she didn't divorce him, Bill Clinton cheated on his wife and divorce wasn't part of the plan.

But you these Nigerian wannabes, you are in the habit of copying like idiots and over reacting to tiny things.

Are you people for real?
Disgusting
delpee:
Prayers above all else. Your mum should avoid reacting negatively. It will only drive him further away. You all should be nice to him as you pray hard.

You said you're not spiritual. In this kind of setting, you need to be. A lot happens in the spiritual realm. Most of what happens is first settled in the spiritual realm. You don't need any babalawo. Do it yourself by learning to fight your battles as Dr Olukoya says. Even if shes diabolical, she's not more powerful than God.

Just develop your spiritual self based on your religion, be righteous and in tune with God. Avoid sin, it's a good ladder for evil to arise. Remember we all have our bodies, soul and spirit. Thoughts, words then deeds. Learn more, work with it. You'll surely overcome.

By the way, it may be temporary infatuation. Pray for your dad not to end up devastated and ruined since the lady's intention is not known.

Sell your phone and buy a brain

alexialin:
Well. I don't blame the Nigerian man for absconding. A friend of mine, guy who travelled to the US, with help from his friends over there, said he can never ever marry a white woman. I was like why? You had better use your fine boy looks marry rich whitey o.

He said God forbid. He said if I know what's happening to Nigerian men who married white women. That the women will stop the man from working and be paying him allowance to be fucvking her whenever she's back from work.
When she's going to work. She will lock him inside, he will. Wait for her, while watching TV then when she comes back with take away meals and beer is sexx, sexx, sexx, the man go fucvk taya cheesy
Lol he said he can never be a slave to a woman. And some do bear it for a year or more. After saving some money, they flee back to nigeria cheesy
He said him wey dey dictate to. Woman here for nija. Goes out whenever he likes, hangs out with his Gees, in Nigeria. Will. Now be locked up in a white woman's home? Lai lai.
I was so shocked and laughing at the same time.
He said he will. Just do one night stand and move on.

As soon as he makes his money, he's coming back to marry a Nigerian woman.

No oyibo will hold him down at all.

So Oyibo woman sorry o.. Like the nija wife said, she used her husband as a slave. But what people don't know is, she used him. As Sexx slave. The guy Don taya to fucvk fucvk inside guard room.. Lol cheesy

Let's see how that works out for you when you're married.
Acidosis:
We have the right to tell you why or when to work when the earnings from such works add no value to the home or when the cons from such works outweigh the benefits.

You're supposed to take care of the home, so when you abandon that duty to pursue some selfish ventures, I have the right to put a stop to it. tongue

Y'all sit on your phat asses and tell women when or why they should work. Nonsense. What gives you the right? The nerve.

I work to buy expensive items that have no meaning two months after they are bought.

Come and beat me.

Acidosis:
Some women work for the wrong reasons:

1. To lose weight
2. Stay out of boredom
3. Get good office clothes, high heels and slay on Instagram
4. To bear the "career woman" tag

For me, I don't think a woman should consider working under the above conditions.

You're right BTW, Ngozi and co have careers. They have the choice to stay out of job, after all, many of them have wealthy husbands but they choose to be driven by a purpose.

I've always had issues with the word "career woman". It doesn't exist in my world. We don't have "career man", you're either working for a right reason or a wrong reason. I literally run away from women that adopt that line: 'I want to be a career woman' rather than I want to be a doctor, an engineer, a programmer, a business woman, etc.

Why not? Everyone wants a great life... And not only married people, even in friendships, engaged couples.Treat men and women with respect , no mind games, don't think you're smarter and start waiting for gotcha moments. Except if you're not in love though. Then why stay in it.
See? It's not all about men
And that's where you seem to have it wrong.

You initially said you did all you expected from her to her and I was proud of you. But you're starting to sound all men-centered and I'm having a hard time believing you now.

Reading this post while I pack my bag for night shift.

My 18 month old will be alone with her father who will feed, bathe and dress her tonight and tomorrow morning before dropping her off at daycare.

If the original author can deposit $300 million in my account tonight, I'll stay home forever and raise all the little babies anyone wants to have.

Ma'am,if you don't give him his due well,I daresay, there are a million and one other women who will. And you'll call them "side chicks".Actually, critical analysis shows they are the main thing. There can be no vacuum. I have a date already for Saturday.A date who is interested, interesting, more educated, more beautiful than the egoistic one that left.New girlfriends loading... I'm going back happily into the game.No vacuum in nature.
I'm sorry there's no justification for that sexist line of thought in my dictionary. I call it sexist because you won't make the same argument in favor of any woman who cheats on her husband.

However I do emplore all married people to always treat their partners with love and respect and try their best to satisfy them.

Ladies, especially Nigerian girls of the Lagos variety, need to learn how to respect their men. It's not so hard to make a guy eat out of your palms and worship the ground you walk on.Why is there so much divorce, side chicks?Because there is a woman ready to do what keeps a man while you glorify yourself in your overinflated ego. Some girl is giving while you just want to take.
Mmm mmm

Don't even try to justify married men having side chicas

If Davido is innocent (I have no reason to believe he's guilty), he should quickly go for a check up too.

I'm married. Thanks for the compliment.

Next girl you get, if she doesn't make you hot soup or tea and press cool towels on your forehead when you're sick( while cradling your head in her thighs) she's not worth the trouble.

I'm glad you said you did the same for your ex, it's real nice that you did that. keep it up, you'll find someone who will reciprocate that. It's important to hold others to the same standards they expect from you.

People nowadays have lost all love and compassion.

I would even take care of someone else that way much less my fiancé/husband.
Family › Re: . by cococandy(f): 4:37am On Oct 08, 2017
Ugh why are people blaming the OP?
He was sick and the girl didn't show concern. That's very bad. End of.

Why be with someone if their presence can't make you feel better?
It wouldn't have hurt her to pamper him a little when he's in that state. (Shivering and sick)

It doesn't even matter to me if they were having issues at the moment. She should have let him get better before acting out.

Jeez OP sorry my dear. Hugs.

You'll find a more loving and compassionate partner.
