Would you accept kids your wife had for another man just to not be rude?
I didn't even read past that line. Your brain is a waste of space.

pato405:
If she wasn't. why threaten to throw the innocent kids from the other woman out? Why not bear them, tolerate, and prove to them that she's truly a tolerant woman? why start telling them that their father did not build the house? she obviously resents them, and truth be told, if those kids grow with that resentment, they'll hate her. It's her house today, who knows tomorrow? Those kids (if shown some luv) might be of help to her & her kids tomorrow. yes, she has her own kids too, who can help her in future, but my brother, the world is a complex place! the vicissitudes of life might just turn the tides. "Help and reward" sometimes comes from where it is least expected - there are countless cases where kids who were victims of maltreatment ESPECIALLY by their step-mums turn out to be last resort for assistance in times of despair. Make una take thins easy o! Lyf na "time & chance"

Sell your phone and go buy sense
pato405:
All I can say is...it appears your mum is truly rude. She made the money but it must have taken over her sense of submission at some point. No man wants to lose his regard simply because he's not making enough cash. The two should be one and whatever your mum has achieved, must not necessarily be publicized as her singular effort.

This has always been the problem...whenever a Nigerian man is the sole bread-winner, it's NEVER news! but when the woman is the bread-winner, there's always rancor, pandemonium & chaos. But why?

You have also taken sides with your mum and painted your dad as a monster. Please don't get married with this bias against men...it will only breed more trouble - often it's the reason why it appears as if divorce runs in some families like a genetic disease. It might not be surprising if your dad's side of the story contradicts yours. To every story, there are two sides. No judgement until a balanced case is presented!

Otherwise saying it's okay to hit because someone verbally insulted you is a no no.

I agree with this
intruxive:
Family is family, business is business.
The guy realized the terms of business has not been fair all these while and he wants it renegotiated.
If jude is the manager, he has to earn a salary, that's the norm in music industry, not take a third of every income despite the fact that all he does is direct "some music videos" and nothing else!
If peter is no longer comfortable with the term of business is he not man enough to take charge of his life, must they malign and slander his family just to black mail him into submission, little girl everything about their issue is open, but u wont see it as long as u keep looking through your ethnic sentimental glasses
You should pray for a man like peter in your life, who will protect you from even his family if they seek to hurt you

People just look at his wife that he cheated on with this new bleached one.

Ladies next time someone tells you your man cheated because you have become out of shape, don't take care of yourself since you had a baby, bla bla bla, please feel free to empty a pot of coffee on the person's head.

I'm his fan too because I find his voice like honey to my ears. I was so happy their romance. they seemed to really love each other. You know young lovely couple. Doing well in life. Such a good thing I admired.

Of course he had to do something to ruin it.
He's now an idiot in my eyes. Mtchew

Family › Re: My Dad Cheated On My Mum Before She Died And He's Still Doing It by cococandy(f): 5:27am On Sep 26, 2017
He didn't even come when he learned she was dying? Wow. Did he explain why?

You're not obliged to forgive him. I hate when kids are blackmailed into forgiving horrendous parents. If you don't feel like forgiving him, you don't have to. At least don't force it. Let it come to you.

You only owe yourself success. Try your best to get successful and be your own person.
If you do eventually feel like forgiving him, let it be your decision and not something you do out of societal pressure or guilt.

Never try to physically harm him. Don't end up in jail because of him. It's not worth. You owe yourself that much. And nothing justifies physical violence on someone else except self defense.

Thanks for all your comments so far but the reason why the girl in question is scared is because the ex is really dangerous and she does not want the daughter growing up in his custody
How's he dangerous? Explain in details

And she doesn't have to grow up in his custody. But he should be able to be a part of her life.
Family › Re: How Do You Gain Complete Custody Of A Child Born Out Of Wedlock? by cococandy(f): 12:54am On Sep 26, 2017
Culture isn't always right
In fact it seldom is
Donald7610:
The child completely belongs to the mother
Because no legal marriage recorded
But if he go to court, he might be lucky to get access to visit or share with custody of the child
The mother will be lucky if living in Lagos
Lagos State protects mother
Not baba lo ni omo
Especially with brib..
danwilliams4u:
If it is in igbo land the guy has no right over the costudy of the child, becaus no bride price was paid. The father of the girl in question is the owner of the child, and only him can decide weather the child sgould go with his biological father or not
PrecisionFx:
In my tradition, u have no business with any child born out of wedlock. The father of the girl claims the child.

It's a Non-issue.
Family › Re: How Do You Gain Complete Custody Of A Child Born Out Of Wedlock? by cococandy(f): 12:52am On Sep 26, 2017
He's has a right to see his child.
What you're asking for is unfair to jinx
You're not the only parent to this child.
Unless he had previously abandoned her and/or poses a danger to her, you have no right to want to keep her all to yourself. Put yourself in his shoes.
