@bold, can you imagine? Although in seun's his defense he did one time say that no more charity cases will be allowed on his website. Folks talked him out of it. But that's not the same as being proactive against fraud. He's almost nonchalant about it. I guess the lesson to take home is 'don't listen to anyone's sob story anymore'. I would have sworn with any of my handbags that this girl/boy (...who knows) is real. All the dead parents and imaginary brother/sister-in-law stories. With such talent at imaginative writing, why the fellow doesn't go into story book writing is beyond me. Waste of talent. Humbledbyfaith if you're reading this, pls consider story writing. That might be the good thing to come out of this for you. Onegai: So, follow-up:
Humbledbyfaith is still active on NL, most likely checking to see how far things will go. I spoke to some people and they gave some suggestions, basically, the solution lies in the hands of the owner of this site. What I can advise everyone to do, is to NOT give any money to anyone. No matter what. Because your protection is limited (the bank can fish an account as a scam account but they need more details and proof to actually shut it down and alert other banks. Yes, they share information with other banks and bvn has made it easier) and most of us don't have the resources to take this fight. As for the other accounts, it's left to prove the connection between VineHands and Humbledbyfaith, so the old threads have to be unlocked so a good case can be presented to the right authorities (not the police). However, when I mentioned the website was Nairaland, some of the people present laughed and explained that this site has a bad reputation for being filled with scammers and the owner of the site allowing things to go unchecked. Which makes honest businesses avoid it and this causes a loss of revenue for the site. I was given an example that some companies monitor it to see if complaints about their products and services come up, but refuse to advertise on it for fear of attracting scammers. Seun, if you read this, you should do something. |

Same with Imo state. But they aresaints since they belong toAPC. Buhari and his hounds just pretend like they don't know what's going on. blueto: No surprise since the Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, is from APC, also known as the inconsiderate party.
Kwara state was a beneficiary of the bailout funds, so its obvious that the APC governor have looted and diverted the funds for other trivial and selfish purposes leaving the pensioners and workers to suffer deprivation and pauperism..
But the EFCC and other anti-graft agencies will abstain from probing him because belongs to APC. |

It's something else. urbanmsg: Thanks you so much,he already wanted to come stay with me which I refused after finding out about his daughter. so now he has decided to go down to his village and he was saying that I will have come to his village for discussion which I will not do for several reasons. Thank you so much because now you have given options on how to go about it.

The shoes she's making is more lucrative than whatever it is she thinks she'll be doing with her university degree.
Nigerians schools sabi give person useless courses that won't fetch them jobs after graduation. In another country her case might be different but in Nigeria, how many people do they want to employ to do the work of international diplomacy when the leaders only use their nephews and cousins to fill such positions. |

pippimp: I got a problem. Do you know how I can send something to Nigeria direct and it gets to the intended person? I want to send a care package and I am afraid of corrupt hands extorting the recipients. I usually send stuff through someone but I don't have anyone at the moment. Search http://www.shoptomydoor.com/My DH uses it. I haven't used it myself though but he swears by it. If you read up about their policies or call them on the line they displayed on their page, they can explain to you how it works. But I know the recipient gets it directly. See if it works for you. |

Whatever the true story, it hurts me when children get caught in such mess because adults can't make the right decisions. They didn't ask to be born into this craziness. Now no amount of imprisonment or death sentence will bring them back. What a horrible thing. |

Family › Re: Breastfeeding Makes Me Eat Like A Glutton. Mothers In The House Please Help! by cococandy(f): 3:51pm On Aug 06, 2016 |
I'm breastfeeding too and I've gone from 175 pounds to 131 pounds since I had my baby. (5months now)
Like someone said breastfeeding actually make you lose weight. This is because it takes an extra 500 calories per day for you to make milk for the baby.
The key is to control your appetite. When you get hungry like that, don't load your plate out of hunger. Incorporate more greens into your meal. Add more fiber to help you feel fuller sooner. Less carbs. More proteins. Drink more water. Increase your exercise routine. When you're starving hungry, try to eat slowly so that your brain has the time to release the hormones that signal your body that you're no longer starving. Ever wonder why we eat very large amounts of food and still feel like we are dying of hunger only for us to feel bloated some minutes later even though we haven't eaten anything extra. Yea the feeling of satiety takes time to kick in but usually before it comes, we've eaten way more than we need to because we rushed the meal.
These are the things that worked and are still working for me. I still have like 15pounds to lose.
I hope it works for you. |

pippimp: You will not believe my good fortune one day. I was out in the woods two weeks ago hunting with a couple of buddies when we came across these red necks. We started talking and i mentioned that it was hard getting goat meat and would you believe they had a farm and they raised a few goats? I went to church the next day to thank God. You hunt? Wow. Talking of goat meat. Funny story. I tried to make a goat meat buddy. It didn't go well. Invited the guy a few times to come share meals with us especially during the holidays. He's from Ghana and was always complaining about how he missed African cooking. So I'd make egusi or jollof or puff puff etc and call him to come join us for lunch or dinner. Dude finished my food and ran away. After bragging how he'd give us any amount of goat meat we wanted for free. Even though I was ready to pay. I just wanted the goat meat with the skin on roasted over open fire like we do in Nigeria. And he said he could do that. That was why I wanted it from him instead of buying from the Mexican store where I used to buy. My sister-in-law even went to buy a new deep freezer and kept it in her garage to store the goat when he brings it. Because he was really bragging about it. Lmao. The farm didn't even belong to him. Hehehe. Guy man. Anyway we've forgotten him now. |
