It is well I don't know if this OP is lying or what. I looked up the name on Facebook and I saw her pictures that she posted yesterday wearing NYSC uniform. Humbledbyfaith, What's up with that? Pls come clean. The Facebook profile says hope aganyi like you said your name is and the person studied biochemistry at university of Calabar same as you. The face from the passport photograph you posted is the same face as the pictures in the Facebook photos. There's also something about you being miss something something of bekwarra LGA. In summary that's your Facebook profile. I'm 100% sure of that. So how are you able to go for nysc if you still owe the school and why are lying about it. I stand to be corrected. Just explain the discrepancies. |

Having or not having an abortion is not something no one can advice you to do. It's a deeply personal decision. As you can see.
Meanwhile I'm wondering what you guys will do when you're post partum and recovering. Will you carry your body like that to continue hustling?
The lord is your strength. |

This is laughable at best. Never mind. Ioannes: Well madam I think my sarcasm hit the right spot.
Let me tell you why?
You want something badly, you should be prepared to walk the talk.
You have conveniently convinved yourselves that your inability to leave this country is the fault of every other person except yourselves.
You want your country, but you want it in a silver platter.
Why don't you put your money where your mouth is.
All of you go back to that your country in the "land of the rising sun" and refuse to have anything to do with the rest of the country. Them we'll know you guys are serious.
You want to have your country yet still feeding fat on the country you love to hate.
You want to eat your cake and have it at the same time.
You want the world to take you seriously? All of you should relocate. Then the world will take notice. Until then, you guys are just making noise. |

Well I'm one of those secessionists. If we aren't welcome in other parts of the country, then the reasonable thing is to let us go. But as far as they have refused to let us go, they should be willing to accommodate us as equal citizens in any part of the country. Your sarcasm is misplaced. You can't beat a child and also stop it from crying. That's the definition of unreasonable. Ioannes: Madam, I was just being sarcastic and taunting would-be secessionists who want to fracture the country for their own selfish gain.
They don't mind shitting where they are eating from.
I'm sure you're not oblivious to their various rants on this forum where they cuss out others and maintain that they must be given their own home.
So my post was a jibe at them and not the peace loving and intelligent ones who do their business peacefully wherever they go.
I agree with you everywhere in Nigeria SHOULD be home to all of us. |

MacBook is cheap in US? Lmao. MasterRahl: Macbooks are manufactured in the US hence the citizens acquire it at cheap prices. Anyway, methinks there's no need for this comparison. Most white folks live fake lives. They live on credit that's why they rely heavily on the credit card system which they must pay back. We in naija use debit cards mostly hence your account must be well funded before you can make a purchase. My point is I believe in Nigeria. I'm not carried away by whatever happens in the West. Nigeria shall be great. |

Ioannes: Well I think this is their opportunity to leave the North and head back home eastward.
Its a golden opportunity for them. I hope they won't miss it. why should they leave? If we are all citizens of Nigeria then everyone has the right to live in any area where they can afford to pay rent as long as they are law abiding. WTF does head home mean? |

samsongbemisola: I support the ban on radical Muslim mosques who incite hate against other religion. To the Muslims, instead of defending Islam and claiming Islam can't die, religion of peace etc, why not work on the radically minded Muslims who uses terror as a means of spreading the religion. Teach them not to use vengeance. that's because many of them are silent supporters of the actions of the extremists. If not, they would be at the fore front fighting against these extremists who are tarnishing the image of their religion. Instead they see an attack against the killers as an attack against themselves. What does that tell you? Actions really speak louder than words. |

1) someone who can manufacture accusations is dangerous. Just like that she claimed the man is violent. Assuming he never ever raised his hands to hit her or even threatened to, that's enough reason for him to distance himself from her. That's a dangerous act right there. Also reeks of deep dislike for the man. He should save himself from crazy.
2) caveat: I'm for men and women contributing to the home financially as much as possible. That said, I don't feel sorry for any Nigerian guy who marries one of those women that don't want to. For goodness sake, you can't make a point of marrying a home keeper and expect her to also be a breadwinner. That's eating your cake and trying to have it back. If you're the kind of man that starts blowing hot air because you have to clean your child's poop or mop the floor, then shut up and bring home the bacon let the person whose sole duty in life is to clean up after you save her money and play house for you. Simple. These confused dudes sef. Waltzing between traditional and modern as it pleases them.
3) OP you're emotionally invested in this man. Pls hands off and face your own home before your husband will start confiding in his female colleague about how his wife gives too much attention to one married man at her work place. It hurts you to see him in pain? I laugh in Washingtonian. That's how it starts. Innocent confidante. Nothing serious. Before you know it, you're beginning to hate the wife on his behalf. And then you're tempted to offer him comfort so that you'll stop hurting to see him in pain. We are all humans. Wepu aka enwe n'ofe tupu oburu aka mmadu. |

One spotted. Go and eat first. Ode Empero1: To me, the most appalling thing is, when I see some of you from wretched and troubled homes assumed that every other Nigerian family man do subject his wife to responsibility slavery. Or, that every other family do consider a female child as an inferior to her male siblings.
The fact that some of you have irresponsible, wretched, self centered, predacious and domineering men as fathers/husbands/brothers doesn't mean that it's a norm. Most of us are both altruistic and egalitarian. |

eyinjuege: Its not a new trend. Its been going on for ages, but most women don't talk or let outsiders know they are the financial pillars of their homes. That's why I find it funny when unmarried men on NL start saying things otherwise. Very few men can comfortably meet the needs of their families single handedly. Saved me the stress of typing that. Lol the funny ones are those that can't even afford recharge card but won't let us hear word about how their wives will be housewives. |

I don't remember seeing the adaobi's thread but I'm quite sure it's only one out of the very many that don't even make the news. I've said it before and keep saying, any human being who thinks they can take my underage child/ren from me should be prepared to murder me first. Because that's the only way I'm letting go. I read these stories about the moms who aren't with their little kids for years and I wonder how they sleep at night. I can't. Me give up my child to become someone's object of venting their frustrations on just to satisfy a chauvinist culture that only caters to the man's ego but care nothing for the wellbeing of the little ones in question. Odiegwu. The same people that froth at the mouth when you mention men and childcare in the same sentence are the same that will suddenly support the man having the kids in the case of a divorce. Until they are ready to nurse babies like moms do, there's no question that about little kids going to their moms. One can't and shouldn't stupidly jeopardize the little kids to satisfy egos or be politically correct. When they are readying for child care, we will know. Until then we ain't using our babies as a social experiment. byvan03: Exactly, am sure you read Adaobi's thread about two innocent toddlers that come to school starving, go home by themselves and sometimes stay alone till whenever their father decides to grace them with his presence.
The little boy that was chained inside a church was courtesy of step mum and biological father. You remember the man that threw his daughter inside a well in the name taking custody? What of little Musa that was nearly unmanned by his father 's witch?
Surely there are several isolated incidence that we don't get to hear. They should just leave these kids for their biological mothers and not ruin their lives in the name of spite or ego . |

In-law, don't mind them. Reasoning from their behind. Mtchew pippimp: See your life? We are talking about someone's life here not about a bag of rice. Do you even understand your mental state at this point in time? So, because Nigerian artist flaunt their wealth means that your capacity to care for a human life is limited to who is asking for help on their behalf. If you don't can't contribute fine, but this thought process is scary to say the least. Life means absolutely nothing in that God forsaken country.
