Why is she still alive?
If someone stole a phone they'll give them jungle justice. What happened to someone sending this wicked being to the underworld and get it over with?

Most women always say the vagina goes back to normal after childbirth, but I think the men should be judge.

My hubby has insisted I'll use c-section for our baby so that I can still be tight.
My question is does it really change down there after child birth?
you'll bounce back in no time. C-section is a major surgery. Don't do it for flimsy reasons.

That's why I believe in divorce when the union is not working out anymore. People don't listen. Don't tolerate violence or abuse of any form. It never gets better. This is number what among those who have lost their lives at the hands of their spouses this year alone? I bet everyone has lost count. Yet we keep promoting forced togetherness even when it's unsafe to do so.

RIP Oga.

I knew you would show up. Seriously though, I guess that's the reason why Nigerian women, who work in the hospitality industry, barely crack a smile at guests of both genders.
lol. This topic is an interesting one to me walahi. I want those senators or whatever they are made an example of if they are truly guilty.
Their impunity is too much.

Randy folks. If you smile at them out of politeness or professional etiquette, they take it as green light to come have sex.

But you're calling her a thing. Which means that your attitude is no better than hers.

Looking at her bad behavior, you've no choose than to convince your mother to let her go. She's your mom's maid and you can't send her packing without mama's approval. Just do your best to convince her.
You can't also punish your mom by refusing to send things for her just so the maid won't destroy or misuse them.
Your only option is to get your mom on your side.

And the women that support them obviously think they aren't worth anything hence deserve the discrimination.

I still wonder why people are in denial of the fact that female oppression is a real thing in Nigeria.
fellis:
This is really unfortunate. I guess this is the type of thing men want to see happening that's why they keep fighting gender equality tooth and nail.

Op get a very good lawyer to help you, sorry about this sad situation. Get a lawyer and tell your mom and aunt to avoid the people from your dad's family for the main time. There are many cases of people getting killed because of landed property so she should be careful.

Family › Re: Sexual Depravity In Nigeria: Talking To Your Child by cococandy(f): 10:47am On Jun 24, 2016
I'm assuming that as a parent one would know how to defuse such a situation. And it's not to prevent forceful rape rather to prevent being tricked into complying with the sexual depravity of an adult trickster.

I don't understand the bold. You think being open to them about sexuality will make them do that? That's actually opposite to the truth.
Also read about teaching them the importance of privacy?I'm thinking if the parent did their job well, the kid/s will understand not to discuss such with strangers or other adults.
Acidosis:
The truth is that you can't give them all they ask. What if they demand for a real practice?

Sexual Reproduction is a common subject in primary/secondary schools, we all learned these stuffs but never taught with pornograp.hic images.

Many Nigerians today were raised with those so called funny and flimsy euphemisms, but at the right time we learnt the right words.

You can't control these kids, I wouldn't want a situation where a child will go about harassing my guest and demanding their sexuality (peni.s or vagi.na).

Sometimes, what we do not know, may not kill us. Meanwhile, some of these young girls getting rap.ed by shameless men is not a result of zero knowledge on sexuali.ty., even the adults get rap.ed sometimes. If we give them the knowledge, can we also give them the power to beat a grown giant with 6 six?

Married people are not happy.
Single people are miserable and lonely.

All according to you guys. Who then is happy?

Why not just concentrate on your own happiness and stop analyzing other people's lives and degree of happiness. undecided
Family › Re: Sexual Depravity In Nigeria: Talking To Your Child by cococandy(f): 12:13am On Jun 24, 2016
You see, I have spoken to her about sexual parts, intercourse, rape and non-penetrative assault and she knows that anyone can pose a threat.

We call her body parts by name and have always done. No pet names. So her Vagina is called “Vagina”. Her buttocks is called “Buttocks or Bum”, her breasts are called “Breasts” A boy’s part is called “joystick”. No “my private place” ” my fluffy bits” or any of those flimsy euphemisms that people like to use. She also has a plan for if anything ever happens. I can’t share it here as it is private to us.

Family › Re: My Maid Sees Me As The Wicked One While My Husband Is The Good One. by cococandy(f): 12:06am On Jun 24, 2016
Yea that makes it right undecided. Because if one hires an adult in Nigeria, the police will come arrest them for not going along with the reality.

The reality of child abuse endorsed by people like you. Yes that's what you're doing.

In this Age of Enlightenment why should something like that be ignored simply because it has become a common practice? Does the fact that so many people do it make it right?

yetseyi:
grin grin

Instead of advising the OP to speak/deal calmly with the girl its the practice of a minor living with another family that is being castigated. A practice I dont think will ever stop in naija and thats the reality. People have been and will still have minors living with them as whatever we may decide to call it.

A woman gives birth her towns person/family friend sends her 8 year old daughter to "help" aunty with the baby, from there she goes to school Aunty sends some provisions to the parents from time to time,(which I think its a subtle/indirect form of payment same as schooling) she runs errands around the house etc, she grows and begins to help with the children.

^^^ Is the reality is naija except we deceive ourselves. All these ones we are saying is just English.

That's what they do when they are shielded from the truth. Children are naturally curious about sexuality. It is a very important part of mind development.
Acidosis:
They will make every attempt to check the pants of the opposite se.x for proper verification. Satisfy their curiosity on paper, and they will satisfy it further physically, in your absence.

You don't have to give a child alcohol before you explain the impacts on human health.
