This is really getting intereasting. AMCON also want to take advantage of the situation. Hope Ubah's assets are enough to go round if they are evetually sold cos AMCON says all others will queue behind them in the event that Ubah's assets would be sold to ofset the debtsm So if AMCON collect their 48b and its not enough for Maduka's 21b wetin go happen, meanwhile na maduka 21b naim cause the Mareva action in the UK. Ubah's is finished, he has bitten more than he can chew. |
yes na we run tinzjulioralph: na wa OOO. looks like private jets are mostly meant for "coded guys' only. |
Ubah is clutching at straws! You can like the post it does not change anything, this post is sentimental at best. Saying things like 'he could be innocent' well he COULD also be guity. He could also be frustrated because he has 419ed tppeople who have better political connections to make him run round like a headless chicken. The fact that he is defending himself does not mean his defence would hold water, whethEr he is frustrated, have guts and is attacking a sitting minister which is like attacking the president is not the issue here. Did he deliver the goods and if he did not what haPpened to the goods? We want to know or is he saying he delivered and Cosmas wants to swindle him let him tell us what his issue is why he thinks access bank and cosmas want to do him in. Cosmas is the one accusing him and not the other way around. He should publish those reports let's see and know who the 419 is, if that will exonorate him. And please qualify the nigerians that are behind him cos am not. Access must have done wrong by granting that kinda loan without collateral, so CBN should investigate them except as Maduka claims he can be entitled to such as per his position. I nee some of the billions these guys are calling like say na agege bread them dey take am buy. |
5columnist: Ten delivries? you seem to have the figures right.... how about the 21billion sitting with Access yet to be accessed by Ubah bcause Access and Cosmas claim that Ubah has not delivered accordingly. What about the subsidy payments due to Capital, held back by Aunty Ngozi who has refused to pay Capital so as to allow Access deal with Ubah and take over his investments. Don't you see the game play? You call a man a thief in order to hang him quickly, he comes back to defend himself you want to hang on to emotional hug-wash of cosmas Maduaka as against the facts on the table.... who the hell help anyone with $288 million USD. Is Access bank running a charity. They are all greedy and should face the hammer.Ok maybe calling him a thief was a little harsh, but I believe he is culpable. You seem to be mixing things up and jumping the gun here. Firstly let me say I am looking at this from the accounts the two men have given do not have anything with Cosmas or access bank. Which 21billion are u talking about and which subsidy payment? Is the subsidy payment for the 6 he delivered early or for other deliveries before this deal? If its b4 this deal, let him settle it ministry of finance but if it was for the 6 he had initially delivered as per this deal then why would access bank allow him get it when he had started telling stories on the remaining deliveries. He does not want to complete the deal but wants to collect subsidy money, maybe for products he did not even deliver. There is no 21billion anywhere because Ifeanyi failed to complete the deliveries and as a result that's the money cosmas claims ifeanyi is owing him, if there was 21b in ifaenyi's access account it would have been seized and served as complete payment and cosmas would not come claim that ifeanyi is owing him. If it is against the banking laws that anyone should take that kinda loan then access and maduka are also culpable, but my point is if Ifeanyi Ubah had delivered then u and I would not be here arguing about who is right or wrong, both men for chop clean mouth and we for no hear anything. UBAH messed up simple. |
5columnist: If this is the story that you read and decided to call Ifeanyi a thief you must be Cosmas then... you can't even be objective enough not to lie inbetween your teeth, I have read this before I saw Ifeanyi on TV. Whilst Cosmas spoke with emotions, Ifeanyi dropped business facts on the table. Ifeanyi or Capital Oil never took any loan from Access Bank, Cosmas did.You must be mentally challenged to insinuate that I am Cosmas because I hold a divergent view with you. So which story did you read or hear that made you draw your own view or should I also call you Ubah? I won't, cos I don't have ur challenges. There where supposed to be about 10 deliveries, he delivered 6 and started telling stories where are the remain good? Or better still what happened to it. Did Ubah deny that he did not deliver? He kept on ranting like an illiterate on TV dat everyone including the finance minister is agaainst him and that he had documents he would publish. Let him publish them or keep quiet. Your position that Cosmas was emotional while speaking is neither here nor there, he admitted he took some decisions emotionally and he regrets it with what is playing out now and that as a result of his position in the bank and what he was entitled to he practically took the loan on behalf of ifeanyi and made him sign as a guarantor for the goods. Ifeanyi signed, now that he can't produce the goods they are going after his assest and he was ranting on TV that they were going after his assests. So because Maduka was emotional with his decision( which was wrong considering what's going on now) ifeanyi should go scot free. |
I saw ifeanyi Ubah's interview in channels and I just read this here, comas maduka's side of the story. Its obvious Ubah is a thief! The question is Where are the goods? If he had successfully delivered on this deal, it would have opened up the chance of doing more legit business with Maduka and the bank and even make more money. The guy is an illiterate and could not see the bigger picture. |
I was so upset in the first half with the way we were playing. As if we just wanted to honour the game with our presence or someone promised us 'just show up u will win' it was annoying and frustrating. The combo of scholes and carrick in the middle was rather naïve by SAF, don't know what sort of selection is that. Valencia has a one track mind, Rooney seemed absent and VP was lost. Only after we went down 2- 0 that's when start to scurry around to score. Again 2nd half was diff from 1st half. Don't know why we can't attack teams from the beginning of game when we have the potential to do that. anyways 3 points in the bag. Who are those chasing? |
Mr_TA: Im still getting used to the fact that RVP plays for us.The guy is so so happy. ![]() |
We are away! If we lose this game by any stroke of imagination considering how we had to come back at OT, then we enter into doing things the hard way, not that we have been doing that lately as per our lack of urgency style we seem to adopt these days. Would you trust a welbeck/chicharito combo upfront in this game? Expect u are banking on their youthfulness, they might be to adventurous considering its an away game. Going up by 2 goals in OT would give these guys a source of confidence that they can do it against us so defending from the front would be key here and am not sure Henandez/welbeck/Nani offer that muchdefending from the front, Rooney could be an option. |
Ok guys how do we put these Braga guys to the sword today to ease the pressure of qualifying? How we at the top of the EPL is a miracle for me considering the drab manner we have been approaching games which is very irritating regardless of the competition. Either we concede an early goal and start chasing the game or start playing purposeless football cos we are a goal up. Either way its not the UNITED way of playing. The fact that we still have a cautious approach to a game where we have numerical advantage is disgracefull to say the least. Braga must go down today but I just don't trust which UNITED will show up. My lineup Lindegaard Raphael smalling Rio Evra Carrick Cleverly Nani Rooney Young Rvp |
Ol boy, which golden egg did these geese lay at arsenal in 8years I hope u aint talking about trophies. ![]() |

Since after the one on one with barca that Torres scored, how many one on ones has he scored. Torres is an embarrassment to the sum of the 50million paid for his services. How he is being defended with his DUDDY performances week in week out is amazing. The guy has not helped himself at all. He runs like headless goat, loses the ball almost every time, can't score, can't tackle, duddy positioning and now dives. Let's see what will happen since he won't be eligible for the next game. As per Hazard, how does a player prevent the fact that when he loses the ball it always almost leads to goal, for Gods sake Hazard is an attacking AM and anyone playing that position is given some leverage to dribble and the inadvertently increases the chances of him losing the ball. So what are the likes of Mikel and ramirez doing as supposed screeners b4 even the defenders whose main functions are to defend, or hazard is expected to have a 100 percent dribble and pass completion rate. All players are expected to help defensively, but to put the loss of the game squarely on Hazards feet is ridiculous to say the least. |
What exactly is wrong with us in this country? Mark is talking about ijebu state when its the ibos that have been in the fore front for the creation of a new state in their region, he ignored that and is supporting an ijebu state. When did the agitation for ijebu state become so popular that David mark is emphatically supporting it. For the record, I personally think the agitation for state creation is a dumb idea that exposes us as people who think with their a*rses. So ijebu state is created along with other state, maybe including a state in the east, then the same issues come up again with the still agitating for more state because they would still be one state less as is being portrayed now, the agitation continues.the north would want theirs and the circle goes on and on. True federalism, resource control and regionalism is the way out of this unholy contraption called Nigeria. |
Thank God we got the 3points, I for no see mouth talk if we had lost or even drawn the match against the 9 man chelsea squad. |
Am not even worried about the decisions taken by the ref. These things even out over the course of the season or even beyond. Am just upset at the manner we approach games these days. Its either we conceed goals early b4 we wake up or play a good first half only to start strolling in the 2nd half. The inconsistency is annoying, how we manage to stay with the top teams is amazing. With 9 men I was still very uncomfortable. IS THIS REALLY UNITED? |
chamotex: I bet if United went down to 9 men...Chelsea would have battered and embarrassed us.It was an embarrassing win on our part! I was also apprehensive with 2men down on the chelsea side. Its. A disgraceful win. The Torres red card was not a red card IMO. Am just embarrassed we won in this manner. Is this how we we want to win the prem. The annoying thing is we know we can play better than this, even better than the first half, we only wait till when we are goal/goals down b4 we turn up the heat. We like to play 2 very diff halves in a match. Upsetting!!! |
Even though I already felt that the amalgamation was a mistake before the debate started I duff my heart for Obinoscopy. At a point he was already convincing me but the point where Katsumotu highlited the fact that as a result of the amalgamation there were too many diverse interest as per religion, ethnicity, political ambitions won it for me. In conclusion for me the issue of the amalgamation will always come up because of the faulty political structure we are operating. Once again, congrats to the two debaters they did justice. It was insightful. |
I dey laff. |
The banning of Wenger has got nothing to do with the loss, as if Wenger has never lost a CL game before! I taught steve Bold had seriously organised the Arsenal defense in such a manner not even a pin could pass through. @ Dayokanu, u don dey madt abi. The merix is tight. |
Must we go a goal down b4 we wake up. We have a knack for getting outta jail with situationS like that but like the spurs game taught us there would be days thatwe would not recover. That defence can not afford to continually allow cheap early minute goals it usually gives the opposition some kinda confidence which may also be there undoing considering the fire power we have upfront. Everytime we are under attack I fear it would lead to a goal cos I don trust those guys in the defence. As per jones and smalling, I tire for those ones its like they've conspired to stay injured. Its pathetic. |
HNosegbe: Not true. Implicit in this idea is that one needs to reside in a specific state for a given number of years. For instance the law may state that a person needs to have lived in a state for say ten years. That means that you need to have lived elsewhere for another ten years in order to successfully change your state of residence. I would hardly call that "easy".Agree with the condition you gave in your first paragraph! I guess we both agree naija aint ripe for this proposal. |
@ honeric I say it is impossible because of how tribalistic and ethnocentric we have been over the years. When did u carry out a survey that made u conclude that millions feel it would work. In any case what's the essence of state of residence, it does not make sense at all, state origin is permanent, state of residence is can be changed easily. Note that my initial post said it was the right standard, but as Nigeria is now it will not work. What exactly is the workability with "state of residence" when lagos has over 18 million people. So if there is an opportunity somewhere for a job or contract the amount of peeps that wud come from lagos would far exceed a place like bayelsa. What then is the essence? |
honeric01: Why do you need a state of origin in the first place? if Nigeria is one as a country, why should i be asked which state i was born?Is Nigeria really one as a country? Naturally state of origin should not a criteria for anything, but to be frank, in present Nigeria that would be impossible. Our conscienciousness will not even allow us. |
@ Coogar A few keepers might be efficient in the art of diverting a shot from danger. Buffon and casillas are very experienced compared with manonne. With your analogy every shot, header, pass, cross freekick must be controlled and that's impossible, its also what makes it a game. |
E be like say Baba don do u turn after running his mouth about all his players wearing the t shirt and even daring to imply Rio would be sanctioned for not wearing the shirt. I expect we win against Braga, anything short of that will signal red flag for me, am not as confident with this team than I was with last seasons cos of the presence of those 2 pensioners who have refused to retire and Babas penchant for selecting them ahead of Anderson and cleverly. The game against chesea is 50/50 I believe chelsea is beatable. |
debosky: Trust the vermin to be out in full force - not surprising really.@ Dobo The truth is bitter, when rretarded dumbb azs bonobo monkeys like yourself were singing steve Bould praises just after 3-4 clean sheets at the beginning of the season u did not know that it was too early to judge. As if when we lost to everton, u did not do a cartwheel and 3 sommersault with no hand. NOw u want to blame mannone for not being able to punch the ball far enuf, did steve bould not teach him that. I can pick on arsenal cos of all the supposed top teams u lost to norwich, Debo go and drink garri!! |
Arsenal 9th on the table..... I don't see no steve Bould praises anymore!! |
In nigeria the absurd looks normal while the norma thing looks absurd to a very large extent. I am one that believes that some essential commodities like power should be provided by the govt to allow the pple have a sense of belonging, but the way it has been managed over the years we see the clamour for privatisation. Recently some state govt have invested heavily in power eg lagos and PH and the truth if they are schemed out through a transparent process that would be unfortunate as we are seeing now some states. Which brings me to how tranparent the process is, I cannot for the life of me understand how Abdulsalami's coys would win 5 discos including ikeja and eko in lagos. we know how well lagos has invested in that area, we also know that power generation transmission amd distribution has never been associated with abdusalami. But his coys have won 5. Pls someone shud enlighten me more, it seems am missing something in all this! |
Whitehorse: Spot on!Simple! All this waiting for people to have attitudinal change wether through education or whatever means is a waste of time. That scenrio will work better when a group have same ethos. It would be easier for the igbo man or yoruba etc to think alike forge ahead. The suspicion between ethnic groups is too much. |
Eko Ile: It did not take too long for WAI to gain ground and change nigerians. Give us a Moses and we will get get to that promise land in no time..You are now mixing up things, you can't use WAI as an example in fostering attitudinal change in a democracy! And Moses was not a dictator, pray tell how effective is the fight against indisciine now compared with during the military era. I believe when fashola was talking about changing our attitude he was talking about each individual doing a soul search and deciding within him/herself to now obey the laws of the land willingly. That's what I think and not to be forced. |
Eko Ile: Unfortunately, you can not achieve what obi suggested without first doing what fashola suggested. That's the truth about your country. How long would Fasholas' attitudinal change campaign last before we. Achieve the required level of the expected attitudinal change. All groups cannot come to the table with the same attitude of "we believe we all on the same thougt level" it is those differences and selfishness that everyone will bring to the table for discusson and to find a way of compromising. Whose attitude does Fashola thinks he wants to change? All the leaders are not even on the same moral attitudinal wavelenght, are they the ones that would start orientating. - I believe the Zonal federating units will be a good choice. It would be easier for the yoruba region to agree on how to move forward as a region than to foster what they thing is right when the Hausa and igbo man don't agree with their formular and vice versa. Let the SE forge their course for themselves. Like I said, the North don't seem to be contribution much to the debate. -f Clarke is clamouring for resource control I don't blame him, the north might see this as a conspiration to get them outer th equation, which ever way we need to talk and griviances addressed instead of trying to change my attitude when I feel the contraption is skewed to favour me negatively. |
