Am also from the niger delta and I agree with your summation, the problem is that our leaders in the ND have not helped matters. The greed that has engulfed the whole country including the ND leaders is the bane of that area. How can they justify the amounts that have been given to them since 1999? So when they talk of marginalisation its like they want more money as their right as poeple and place that lays the golden egg but for selfish greedy desires. They want more money to embezzle more. Its a cying shame.

Nothing is done sincerely for the common good of all in this counntry. I think dayokanu and chamotex have said it all, with ball that formation might have a chance, but when they lose the ball any decent attacking team will tear them apart cos the likes of hazard who loses the ball in dangerous places and can't track back will cause problems, luiz is eratic and oscar is light weight.

They must cramp the midfield and hope that their new buy Demba does not catch the strikers bug.

I don't even think a 4-3-3 would be effective with chelsea considEring the personnel they have. They are stock with 4-2-3-1. Which will be able to accomodate the old and the new/young.

It would be interesting to see what formation would be deployed now that Demba has been bought. If baba olowo still insist that olowaTorres will still play, will Ba substitute him assuming they keep playing 4-2-3-1 or play a 4-4-2 which means the mazacar combo is gone.

I also fear for mikel since this luiz DM experiment seems to be the norm these days. I think the team is still not balanced as per personnel, but with tinkerman at the helm of affairs, everyone might just be able to have a game from time to time.

It would also be interesting to see how the MAZACAR combo would fair if they have demba Ba as the lone striker over a couple of games, then we might be able to draw conclusions on whether MAZACAR hold the ball too long or Torres does not run into space for the ball.

Why do we like deceiving ourselves in this country sef. Why not make the damn refineries work well and build new ones, and when they are working optimally the products would be made available to nigerians at a cheaper rate which will eventually make it more reasonable to acquire by the poor. This includes harnessing the gas that we flare every day. If it becomes cheap and available why would anyone want o use kerosene or go to the bush to suffer to cut wood to cook. If the right things are done some of our problems will die naturally or atleast be reduced drastically. They need to attack the proBlem from the top and holistically.

A team with most wins gets to be top dog... Yes, but a team with most goals may not necessarily win most games that's why there needs to be a balance btw scoring and conceding. We are doing ok because in games we have won we have outscored our opponent and in games we have lost the diff is not much.

Why we are particular about the defence is that, I personally cannot remeber when we have been so leaky in the defence for most part of this season which is embarrasing, but have almost always found a way of pulling a cat outta the bag spectacularly to win games.

Well I guess we are doing something right by outscoring our opponents in most of our games, they score 50 we score 51 and get the 3precious points. Chikena!!!

Hope Fergie does not play any of those old men because he is facing Sunderland. We have knack for struggling with teams down the ladder.
