charlesemeka85: A midfield trio of iwobi (AM), Onyeka (cm) and ndidi (dm) would hv won this game easily Never. The ndidi that played today was playing CAM, winger and SS not holding midfield. Ndidi is a holding midfielder as long as his not playing holding midfield then he should be benched. A midfield of iwobi, Nwakali, onyeka and bonke or a holding midfield ndidi would have won the game. Or iwobi, nwakali and bonke or holding midfield ndidi. |

Also USG and Brighton has good working relationship
Moreover na as I see the report na wey I post It's one of the reasons I want all the young promising and quality upcoming players to be given at least 3 caps by the SE as quick as possible so that they can play for both mid-table and lower positioned teams in the EPL or championship. I remember Sadiq been 1 on 1 with the Tunisian keeper and missing the target. I think it was olayinka that gave him the through pass against Tunisia. But I know he also missed 1 on 1 from Nwakali through pass in the nations cup. |

Danielnino00: I don't understand what "goalscoring attacker" means o.. Can you be more specific? Strikers that convert their chances to goals. The pass Nwakali gave Sadiq that sadiq failed to score against Tunisia in the nations cup. S.E needs strikers that score 1 in 2 chances they get not 1 in 8 chances. Spain have a good midfield but poor goalscoring strikers. S.E has good goalscoring strikers that are not been invited and good midfielders that are also not been invited. |

samdolad: The goalkeeping department needs to be improved, why was Adeleye of hapoel Jerusalem not called up, at least, he features regularly than the likes of Uzoho, and there's a certain Sebastian Osigwe in Switzerland (fc Lugano) who plays almost every week. Is it that the coaching crew are not doing their assignment to improve the weak areas of the team like goalkeeping & the midfield or they are complacent with the present crop of players? Same names all the time either they're doing well or not. nawa o The present crop of players are their paddies so they don't want to have to tell them they're under-performing and don't deserve to be called up. |

Danielnino00: Wrong! If we we were stacked in the midfield department,we could have qualified for the world cup.. We played that qualifier without Iwobi and Ndidi.. Onyeka and Bonke got injured along the way.....
We quality we have in attack at the moment is adequate.. it's just two games to play... No. We would have qualified if we had attackers that can finish not a stacked midfield. Right now only Osimhen, Onuachu, Moffi, Victor Boniface, Orban , Tella, Yira sor are the best finishers the S.E have and only Osimhen, Moffi and Onuachu made the team the other strikers invited are not consistent performers. S.E need strikers that score at least 15 -20 goals every season for their clubs. |

For example even if ndidi doesn’t play a whole year he’ll still be picked for se making him feel unstoppable. Same goes for all our players aside osimehn.
Don’t let them feel comfortable, always bring in competition, so when they play they give thier all. Because these players have all been too familiar with super eagles That's the point. Not just any competition. Quality competition for spots. |

Danielnino00: Go through my post and you will see that I supported the idea that he should be called up.. but what's the hurry? And what's wrong with playing with the u-23? Osimhen also played with the u-23 when he was in form at Charleoi... Shey it is all the strikers that will get injured or suffer food poisoning? It's just 2 games bro .. there's plenty of time for the likes of Orban and Boniface to get their call up.. The most important thing is that we are stacked in the attacking department.. If S.E was stacked in the attacking department then S.E would have qualified for the world cup. Only Moffi and Osimhen are the main scorers in the team and will likely play full 90mins. The way S.E plays causes the strikers to get hamstring injuries so they need goal scoring substitutes like Orban and Boniface to come on for them. There's not plenty of time.. the earlier the better. |

Danielnino00: Relax.. Orban started playing professionally like 2 years ago.. Where was he in the past 3,4,5 years to merit a call up to the u-15, u-17 or u-20? The u-23 call up is very much in order.. I wish he was called up, but the options we have in attack are in form too... Nothing spoil... Emmy450: exactly what's on my mind o, he's doing great at the moment but we not deficient in attack, that u23 is a welcome development.. Typicalgamer is right.. Orban needs to be called up to the S.E as soon as possible. You guys are forgetting that the strikers S.E has can get injured during the match or during training or even have running stomach or food poisoning. Victor Boniface, yira sor, orban, Nathan tella all need to called up to S.E.. I would have also said Balogun but I don't think his serious about representing Nigeria and since U.S.A is hosting the next world cup and have automatic qualification I think he will choose U.S.A. |

0monnak0da: I am from Lagos state and I know a lot about its history. I do not know everything about Lagos state after very actively studying the history for more than 30 years. There are forests with monkeys in Lagos state There are places where you find 20 ft snakes in Lagos state And there are communities that have no electricity and are off grid. A large part of the people used to be fishermen and are victims of Lagos development because they lost livelihood and lands but they are very peaceful and accommodating. Not all Yorubas are like that It is important to respect indigenes and their ways Sometimes Ibos talk in a way that is very offensive and disrespectful That did not start today
In January 1966 after killing Balewa,Akintola,Hello in a coup https://dailytrust.com/january-15-1966-coup/ Posters, stickers, postcards, cartoons displaying the murdered Sardauna begging Major Nzeogwu at the gates of heaven or Balewa burning outright in pits of hell or Nzeogwu standing St. George-like on Sardauna, the defeated dragon, began to show up across Northern towns and cities. These provocations were so pervasive that they warranted the promulgation of Decree 44 of 1966 banning them”
We all know what followed
What would Ibos have been saying if GVR had won and how would that end Some things are too existential to play with Before cutting Down a tree think and plan for where and how it would fall Arutan: Yorubas have learnt their lessons now. There is no state in the country where you are free to do anyhow as a visitor. Be it in the South East or the North. You must abide by the culture of the people and respect them as a people. Respect their institutions and choice of leadership. The Yorubas cannot go to the SE to start struggling for political positions with them and posting it online attached with lots of insults. The igbos will never take it and they will resist it will the utmost violence. You don’t interfere in the local elections but for the Presidential election everyone is free to engage. Leave the local elections to the ethnic group to choose their leaders do no interfere. If you think you can interfere in the local elections then it means you can also participate in choosing the traditional rulers for the people. What happened in the governorship election in lagos has to happen because the igbos were determined to suppress the Yorubas using GRV as a willing tool. Yorubas won’t take this. All yorubas have now been made self aware of the satanic plans to subjugate the people by the visitors in their midst. Everyone’s eyes are now opened, no more liberality and reckless accommodation. Everyone is now tribalistic because others are in their region and have thought the yorubas how to be tribalistic. The igbos should have behaved themselves and remain in their place in the Lagos governorship elections. omohayek: Israel, where the native Palestinians have now been herded into ever-shrinking Bantustans, as the Israelis settlers gradually steal ever more land. It's to avoid a similar fate that I say let them have their Biafra, so we can end the endless migration from the SE and repatriate most of those already here (especially the poor ones with no particular skills to offer). Anyone who thinks such a thing can't happen is living in self-delusion, especially as Igbos have shown no tendency to give up on their clannish, tribalistic politics (how else can one explain a single party getting 95% of the votes in a region, or the "LP Top to Bottom" and "only our 'Ezi Nwanwa Ndigbo' is a 'real Lagosian'" BS?). Talk of "conquering" Lagos, and "Lagos is a no man's land" shows they have a similar agenda to the pre-1948 Jewish settlers in Palestine, who said all sorts of "liberal" things in public while secretly plotting all the while to steal the land from under the native Arabs - a plot they succeeded at in 1948. |

Jokerman: PDP winning Ogun ke?
APV is just a useless party. Assuming LP brought out a more Yoruba centric candidate, they would have delivered Lagos from the crooked mastermind.
Many yorubas are actually tired of APC in Lagos, just that LP didn't have their candidate right... they should have courted someone like that Doherty LP is not a Yoruba centric party so don't expect LP to field a Yoruba centric candidate. Even all their Lagos election agents are Igbos and that means no Yoruba person was an election agent for LP in a Yoruba state. |

lovewins: Super Eagles very uninspiring list
Ahmed Musa as usual gets his reserved spot
Joe Aribo who doesn't even make bench the last few months, Frank Onyeka and Ndidi who just got back from injury make up 3 of the only 4 midfielders
Imagine having a YumYum players, captain of the worst u20 team we've fielded in recent time making the list. Aribo is not a midfielder. Is onyedika and bonke injured Ndidi is the only DM on the list. So the coach is going to use 4-2-4 again. Iwobi and Ndidi as the midfielders. While chukwueze, Moses Simon, Osimhen and Ihenacho start. I prefer Moffi starting ahead of Ihenacho. |

Chukwueze and Awoniyi where in the team too, if memory serves me right .. From the report, the u-23 qualifier falls under the FIFA international break and the team will be camping in Abuja with the super eagles...so that's enough opportunity for Peseiro to take a closer look at him..I support his call up to the super eagles too,but the u-23 isn't bad.. lovewins: No sir.
Playing u23 isn't an insult. It's an honour and should be regarded as such. We should learn to have these players go through the process, especially if the national team is so swamped they will likely not play.
Olise currently plays u21 for France and it isn't insulting. He'll definitely get to feature for the Eagles soon but let's encourage this. Cecco90: Calm down. This is his first full season in professional football. U-23 is not bad. I would have even said U-20 but he is not eligible. The S.E is not scoring goals from open play.. How is he sure we wont need him against Guinea. The team will need a goal scorer like him. He can score the winning goal for him. We might even loose him to Togo if we dont act fast like adebayor Cecco90: I think U-23 is a good start with the number of forwards we have in the Super Eagles presently. Danielnino00: U-23 call up.. Thermodynamics: It means Igbos are right for trying to call for a referendum, why is it that the Yorubas have not joined the Igbos in their struggle to divide the Country and correct the mistake made by the British? Instead, you guys clammor for one Nigeria, yet you still say Igbos are foreigners in Lagos, how does that make sense?
Stay one side, if you say Igbos are foreigners in Lagos then try to fight for a referendum too so that oduduwa and Biafra republic can become a country and everyone will go to where they belong. Otherwise, you have no right to call an Igbo man a foreigner in his own country Lagos Igbos never ever called for a referendum. Igbos killed the political leaders of Hausa and Yoruba and thought that they won't retaliate.. Igbos already corrected the mistake the B:ritish made by abolishing regionalism and changing it to a unitary government. With regionalism, the B:ritish and other foreign investors would have had to talk to the regional premier of the region they wanted to invest in and other local leaders and not the president of the country, which means less room for corruption. But with unitary, they would only need to talk to the president and can sway the president which creates more room for corruption. |
