Perfectbeing: You used N9.9 million to buy 50k litres in your truck when fuel was N198. Now fuel is 500. N500 will buy you only 19800 litres of fuel..
So where will you see the remaining money to refill your stock? Will you borrow? the person who sold a fuel of N500 at N198 to you wanted them sold to the populace at N198 and you agreed. Yes or No? As for the remaining money, govt didn't help markettees start so cannot help them run or inject capital into their operation. You are one of the problems we have. |

The problem isn't lack of money but gross mismanagement of it. |

TemplarLandry: Tinubu came straight for their jugular by strategically saying in his inaugural speech-“subsidy is gone”. Assuming he didn't make that remark, the fat-feeding cabals would have frustrated plans to remove it.
Now any move the cabals make to frustrate subsidy removal is like a fart in a hurricane, Chess Master Tinubu has outsmarted them. That scam called subsidy has bedeviled us for so long, putting our economy in a chokehold. Yuck! Mismanagement of a welfare scheme doesn't make the scheme a fraud. Tell uncle Yekini to fight corruption. |

Slurity: You are correct but 50% will mean they need to made a commitment of about $9.5billion, can NNPCL afford that within the period without borrowing again? Considering that they are battling with importation at that same time. To be honest with you, I think dangote is fair enough to even allow 20%, and NNPCL is smart enough to get that % too. Not a bad deal if you ask me. the roads and power plants the NNPCL is building, are they borrowing to build them? Or you are not aware of those? |
