This is a treasonable comment. It will drive the common man to increase their prices in a bid to get their share of the 3.4Tr and trigger inflation.. Expect the above from APC govt. |

BloomingDale: They are finally taking my advice. Kudos to our reps. They should make it 10 years. what happens to other equally govt subsidized professionals like engineers and mathematicians? The sensible thing is to train more of them as a way of positioning the economy for remittances, and then give them the amount being used to subsidized them as a loan repayable from any part of the world they chose to work from. |

Instead of this approach. The monetary value of what the FG spends on each student should be given as loan and graduates be allowed to pay from any part of the world they wish to pay back from. |

The only way it can be impactful is if it was used wisely and efficiently. They could buy diesel buses and make intra-city movement cheaper, or fix refineries for real or build new fossil fuel power/renewable power plants. Any shortcut policy of sharing to some perpetually vulnerable means 30% will be disbursed to the poor(mostly almajiris) and the rest duly pocketed. |

In reality we don't but majority will disagree as the average black man thinks he is created to wake up and eat nice food.
We just (s)elected thieves into power with that amount and it didn't show in the economy. We are about to count ourselves with double that amount and I will hardly reflect in day to day lives of Nigerians as well.
That money is around half the average monthly FAAC allocation FG, states and LGAs share. |

lhordspy: I pity the woke and liberal forming yorubas joining these unculutured, mannerless, immoral set of headless mob without home training to bring down Yoruba heroes. Headless mob that have no repect for anyone, not their king, or their leaders.. Not even their parents; that they wake up every morning with kick.
I pity the Yoruba parent who are allowing people from 'other places' to alter, deceive, mislead their children into bringing down the Yoruba leaders.
I pity the yoruba youth; because of internet validation, likes, shares, clout, followership are conniving with 'others' to malign, insults, cancel our elders one after the others. I see some of them on twitter even supporting the motion that says Soyinka cant lace Chinua Achebe's shoes. Very funny.
I pity for the future of the southwest. We are not grooming people like MKO, Awolowo, Tinubu, Soyinka, Fela and the other symbol of Leadership anymore. Instead we are growing weaklings, soft headed, feeble hearted kids like falz, like macaroni and a whole bunch of others with the mentality of 'I am yoruba but i dont think in yoruba' .. who are conniving with 'outsiders' to desecrate our heritage and culture; Which sprang up the philosophy and cultural concept 'Omoluabi' and 'Karo ojire' ..
It is respect, it is honour, it is our pride. It is why we are yorubas, it is why we are always ahead of all of them. It is what make us different. Unique. Distinctive.
I wish these little kids can understand. I wish it wont be too late before they do. Yoruba heroes who took Yoruba's from 216 to 750 a dollar govt or the ones who watched prices triple and remained loyal to their bottomless pockets? Someone must think oluomo's type are plenty here. |
