@Seun

Good day sir, please special attention should be paid to drug trafficking threads because they're the very root of tribal and ethnic slurs on Nairaland. Trolls like Leodeking and PoloG et. al have made it their life's ambition to source for news about Igbo drug traffickers and post them here with the view of ridiculing the Igbos on nairaland. I'm not Igbo but even I cannot stand the foolishness and hypocrisy.

DRUG TRAFFICKING THREADS SHOULD BE GIVEN SPECIAL ATTENTION.

Cc: Nlfpmod Mynd44 Mukina2 Dominique
This claim is flawed Seun. Drug trafficking news comes in randomly and the fact that one tribe is involved most cannot be conclusively interpreted as a campaign against that tribe.
I can decide to post news of ritual related beheadings but that's no proof I am targeting the tribe, state or region most involved in that type of crime.

Before IPOB became active with executions, the north took the lead and an innocent blogger like NigerCover would have been labelled anti-northern Nigeria blogger. Don't led any tribe hijact your restructuring in its infancy.

OmoGomesIlorin:
Modify your website rule to International Best Practices.
Imagine Nairaland doesn't have a Comprehensive Privacy Policy, Terms of Use.
Even the Community rule is outdated.
Ethnic slurs is not the only issue your site is facing, you need to deal with Mysoginist and Misandry content as well. Harassment is almost everyday thing on nairaland
will you enforce the rules for him?
Rules not enforced are just invitation to anarchy.

I do not give a fvck! undecided

I expect Tinubu to remove subsidy if Buhari eventually does not, remember the first thing Buhari did was to put fuel price to N145.

They have the history of wrong and terrible decisions.

una never ching chong ching! grin
My problem with the subsidy of a thing is the total mismanagement of it. The govt seem to be saying they cannot manage distribution of cheaper fuel within Nigeria but can perfectly manage the money subsidy removal will bring. That's a dummy being sold to Nigerians.

Generally speaking:
-- First is for every petrol generator user to look sideways at renewable like wind, solar or biogas.
-- Second is to go into food business or even farming.
-- Third option is to just sell petrol powered assets and invest in anything investable.
-- Fourth is to demand APC relinquish the stolen mandate they holding onto. PDP And LP may not have different plan or approach towards subsidy but the party who mismanaged it the most doesn't deserve to oversee its removal.

Also it just for a particular location in Kano not all Kano companies

It’s an added advantage to power grid
I doubt it will be feed into the grid.

This is an excellent initiative. I hope it really adds 10megawatts to the grid
the only it grid it is connect to is the northern greed for resources and anti-southern prosperity.

Those Northern states hold 87% of Nigeria's poverty and the majority of the illiterate. Infrastructures in the land of extreme poverty will be vandalised by the poor. Until Northern Nigerians invest in education and health care for all, all that infrastructure will end up like the Abuja -Kaduna railway.
but they equally own over 87% of the resources in Nigeria even though it is outside the alleged poverty region of theirs.
Poverty is just a narrative used to secure unconditional inflow of southern resources into the north.

restructuring its business model to focus “more on business continuity measures that reduce exposure to devaluation and currency liquidity in our business model.”
Naira Scarcity in the face of harsh economy is it. If the naira was going to be scarce what was the purpose of withdrawal limits?

I am beginning to think it was all part of an attempt at reducing run off inflation via reduced spending.
They blocked Intl Naira-FOREX transactions at first, next was limiting cash in circulation as well higher denominations volume and lastly was a jammed electronic channel(USSD).

The moment a Zoologist gave up on a zoo-like republic and conceded power without a tussle, I knew Nigeria was gone.

This was what sanwo-lekki did for four years in Lagos and some rent seekers supported him.
He inflated contracts constantly and incorporated loan repayment for those outrageously priced contract into future Lagos earnings and tax. That's preemptive looting in retrospect now.
