At least UBA is a business, they need to have control of their staffs. Your churches are claiming not to be businesses yet they do otherwise. Compare the tithes and offerings they collect on a daily basis to their contribution to the society, is it commensurate? Don't be fooled by these antics, we know them.
Calm down.... offerings, tithes and givings go to the society too. Widows are part of the society and if they give to non believing widows, you guys scream members are poor.

What excites me more is the prospect that many villagers would listen to mentally transforming messages via direct satellite and get charged to better their lots in life.
The bold is so true. Mental transformation is real just as mental degradation is.

When we talk about the value of Churches in Nigeria people will only cite schools and hospitals. But when you realise that a winners chapel has more global employees than UBA and First bank you would realise that churches have tremendous impact on the economy.
Even better is the Inestimable spiritual impact it has on our yahoo infested society.

The governors will tell you govt shouldn't be in business and they award contracts to their own briefcase companies. God help us.

If you really live in that axis, then you'll know how many times Winners Chapel has fixed that road before so no just come here dey sound like say na lies.

He didn't do it this year like last but you see know say him dey repair that road on a steady.

Now the OP really dey make am sound like political campaign.

And those people mentioning Namibia ehn, only Lagos population go decimate all the road network in 1 year
Stop applying the crowd mentality logic. Namibia may not be as big as Nigeria but stop comparing it to Lagos. Lagos is a small state with impressive population.

Nigeria is bigger in landmass than Namibia.
Nigeria has a larger Road network than Namibia

Nigeria has a road network of 195,000 Kilometre
Federal or state or all roads? I doubt the 195,000 Km figure. Most federal roads run from one state capital to the next state capital and averages 3 hours or around 300km. 36 states is too few to come up with that your figure o.

Romance › Re: My Opinion On Broke Guys by CodeTemplar: 11:10am On Dec 30, 2019
Lightangel65:
I see different posts on Nairaland about girls not wanting to date or marry broke guys, you can't really blame them. In this world men are bread winners no matter how much we talk about splitting the breadwinning with females it can't happen, even if she is rich that's the world we live in.

If a girl should get married to a broke guy what of if he doesn't get rich, that's a life of poverty and also damming you children's future.

It's better to make it first, before thinking about marriage and women.

You would be surprised when you have made it women won't even be on your wishlist, there is more to life than women (there is games, movies, food and much more) you can also adopt kids if you feel lonely and can cater for them. And marriage is not for everyone.
You see the problem with making it first is that :
1. Time waits for no one.
2. No condition is permanent. A rich man today can become not so rich tomorrow.
3. Life goes far far beyond money. A lady can even connect a skilled guy to good jobs and what matters most is attitude.
4. Character can negate wealth greatly. what if he turns up rich and loose.

Last last, money is only like 20% of the dating factor if both parties are going to be truthful about it. I am not saying money is useless but take it easy and realize money level is one of the few things that can easily change unlike character and attitude.

Mr Ganduje, who was represented by Commander General of Hisbah Board, Harun Ibn-Sina, said the state government is committed towards upholding Islamic values.
Commercial tricycles, popularly known as ‘A daidaita sahu’ in Kano, were introduced by a former governor of Kano, Ibrahim Shekarau, as a means of transportation for women only.
Hisbah board now represents the governor. Sad.

You are not making any sense from what the OP posted. Can you just close the opening.
Leave that troll alone. Sharia Hisbah now has power from state government to prosecute criminals. Federal police is being replaced by a religious one. Religion is open to interpretation and various level of convictions or faith. This is recipe for anarchy that can consume sub sahara Africa. Let him be shouting Lazy Youth.

Youth trekking to Europe by desert route is what Buhari calls Lazy and Yusuf is racing up and down in Abuja. I laugh. Leave that troll.
Politics › Re: CAN Replies Buhari & Sultan Of Sokoto On Religious Persecution by CodeTemplar: 5:02pm On Dec 29, 2019
Buhari carefully turned a blind eye to the happenings in Kano where federal forces are being displaced by Hisbah.

The Judiciary has now been privatised and any criminal who is caught can always switch religion for a softer landing. He is talking about terrorists dividing us. What about Sharia proponents grabbing territories?

The floor is gradually being open for religious marketing. I laugh deeply.
Politics › Re: Over 100 Million Nigerian Youths Without Decent Jobs – FG by CodeTemplar: 4:55pm On Dec 29, 2019
Instead of parading statistics to highlight their halfhearted efforts why not learn from advanced nations and let's seek to refine 100% of our crude. If refining less than 15% can employ hundreds of thousands of youth then you can begin to imagine what FG can achieve by refining every drop of unprocessed crude.
Crude oil jobs pay far more than N-Power or Farming or Teaching.
