Political leaders are employees of the followers and as such deserve to be scrutinized so don't blame the employer(masses) who seeks to explore the greatest room (room for improvement).
Plus our current structure places over 52% of money under the arm of govt the president directly heads. Commonsense dictates that 52% of our resources gets priority over the remaining 48% which is split between 36 states and about 774 LGAs. |

ThreeBlackBird: I'm terribly sorry for you. Until this time, I thought you're a young, smart chap that can have an intelligent conversation and end it there. The way you wail over this one is beyond me.
Of course, I've always known you to be more of a noise maker and an emotion driven young man than being constructive as HigherEd. I have only never thought you can be this low. I've been an active member of nairaland since God knows when and I have never claimed to be a new member. I can mention a couple of monikers, matching them against what interest them the most on this forum. Can that be a crime?
You got tagged 'Covenant University Boy' which you subconsciously bear and anyone who might have come across a comment of yours or two would agree you're known for, and all hell is let loose?
You're pretty amazing, you know? Ordinarily, with your level of education, one would think sarcasm, satire and pun are what, by now, should appeal to you in articles or online comments as the case may be but it's rather surprising you know next to nothing.
Anyways, I'll spare this time out of generosity and good heart to spell it out completely to you. For my comment that asked if you work in an oil company, it was preceded by my observation that you have only replied a couple of my previous comments at the middle of the night. It would have been ridiculous and an attempt to embarrass you if I had assumed it was because you didn't have internet subscription during the day and was often on midnight sub. I decided to be nicer and assume a better scenario, which was purely out of humour, that maybe you eventually got a job and now work with an oil company. That must be a time consuming job and hasn't given you enough time during the day to reply my messages bordering on CU which, by default, triggers your fingers to write epistles. Go back and read it again, this time, careful and with a sense of responsibility and not with undue emotions and rush in your system to fight an enemy. That was my only crime.
I'll wish to know your gender because I can't assume anymore that you're male. Your nagging attitude is +1. If you can be this possessive online and wouldn't stop reasoning like an high school student, how then would people around you cope? What if I were even a stalker, why should that bother you this much on a faceless online forum.
I'm not usually this patient. I would have blocked you far too long ago if nairaland had the feature. I'll avoid you henceforth, you're a rare breed I can't deal with. The is clearly an attempt to save face. I have been able to reveal my previous user accounts to other users for clarity sake and wonder what is holding you from doing same. You would rather attack me with emotional epistles you like to accuse me of than do the simple and reasonable thing by properly introducing yourself. I hope your aren't one of my previous stalker here on Nairaland ( I know I have few of them i know for real ) For example the other user you mentioned in your post I am replying to now knows my previous moniker and I believe I know his (even though it had been deactivated). That's how life goes for me and not all these hide and seek trash I am getting from you. You spend the precious time you don't have replying whenever you want to digress but haven't had the 5 minutes required to introduce yourself. I find that malicious. And by the way, I think you are the emotional one here. Read my comments you to replied initially and realize there is not associating anyone to any school in it. May be the insecurity of public vs private is eating you up, definitely not me. As for the last part of blocking me, please go ahead and just ignore me henceforth. I don't mean to start another round of your indirect posts or some insults. Just felt you needed to know some of my sharable opinion about this post. Thanks. |

I hope the company will stay afloat in the next five years. Not even a Fortune500 company will embark on such lavish expenditure. \ I don't think the company leadership will use the lion share of their profit for such. Thats a flawed move but no one can speak up any longer. I consider these simulations of things to come. Just watch out for stranger moves from this govt. |

jesusjnr: Lol!
But thanks for helping me out, because all of the above bolded still represent you and your mentor below who omit and sideline the majors of the Law, judgment, mercy, and faith, because of a minor as tithing.
Imagine the kind of heresy that a church leader could possibly conjure because of tithing below. Some others would threaten people with death amongst other evils.
So the rebuke of Jesus also applies to all of you both ancient and modern-day tithe-abusers and I am completely with Jesus on this.
By the way, if you think I have ever been against tithing and this has anything to do with your gospel of mammon, you can continue in your delusion. For I've never been against the tithing, but the overemphasis and abuse of tithes by the pharisees which is what Jesus was also against and here is your proof:
https://www.nairaland.com/5403149/benny-hinn-repents-prosperity-gospel/1#82030130
But you can keep rejoicing because of a figment of your imagination instead of repenting of your mammon worshipping. Audio mammon-worshiping. Na your ways... |
Christianity Etc › What Is Salvation? by CodeTemplar(op): 3:45am On Dec 15, 2019 |
Salvation entails our re-connection back to God and preservation from destruction.
Times and again in the Old Testament (OT), Israel (which signified God's people) experienced salvation whenever they where preserved from destruction. Samuel-1 14:45, 1 Samuel 11:13, 1 Samuel 19:5 are some OT example of the concept of salvation.
In the New Testament salvation became through Jesus and Acts 4:12 says it all:
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Salvation must also be maintained and that means it can be lost to sin. |

Lol... after abusing me and calling me names (mammon worshiper, spiritually bankrupt, modern day Pharisee among others ), the OP compiles my arguments against his anti-tithe position of the past and silently presents them in support of tithing. Just check out some of my topics and posts (especially posts involving me and OP) then you will see what I am saying. This thread is like a secret repentance of proud poster. . . lol.
Never too late to do the right thing.
OP forgot to copy scriptures like Zechariah 1:17, Galatians 6:6 to further support giving to churches and the pastorate. |
