It is not transmission fluid issue but low engine oil quantity.
Some Honda engines consumes oil alot.
I just add a litre of engine oil whenever mine disengages like that.

Please, is it possible for one pv string and one battery bank to run two inverters via changeover switch?
A case of total off grid where inverter A (say 5kw 48v hybrid) could be powered in the day and switch to inverter B (say 3.5kva 48v with standalone Mppt CC) in the night via changeover switch.
POINTER: One pv string and one battery bank (Lfp) tide to the two inverters.

While this is possible it is also cumbersome. The 5kw can also work in the night. These machines are designed to work 24 hours.

You will spend a lot in transporting it to your location (also considering the attendant increased risk of damage in transit), the installer will charge you much because it will be harder lifting it up the roof, and the roof will buckle more under its weight, increasing the risk of damage to the roof.

Dont go above 540w.

The Capacity Test is actually the next thing on my todo list, I have populated a list of Battery Meters, DC Shunts, Sensors etc. for this purpose but they are yet to arrive.

For the QR Code, I don't wand to disassemble the batteries now because of the Warrantee (10Yrs), I know I will find my way to get this info eventually. I made friends @ Felicity both in China and Nigeria and I will definitely run into an open cage one day and get my info on the cells.

I must say that the Felicity Lithium Batteries have performed excellently well with the Load I have on it as compared to the Tubular batteries.
These are 48V-57.6V Design. and the minimum voltage I have gotten so far is 52V after 14hrs (6pm-8AM) with remaining power @ 35%

Don't try it. Roofing is not where to cut cost.
That 2x6 is not actually 2 inches x 6 inches. Try and measure the thicknesses yourself.

The painter isn't being lazy Engr. That's my preferred option as well and no artisan, builder or engr can convince me otherwise. I will paint first before doing fittings or cabinets anyday, anytime...in fact, I'd even install wooden doors after painting as well. People do things in their own preferred ways for different reasons. The owner of the project should have the final say after getting properly informed on pros and cons of both options.

My personal reasons for choosing to paint first are:
1. to prevent paint stains on fittings, cabinets or wooden doors, which can be quite unsightly for me,
2. to prevent areas of unpainted wall under fittings, which may become exposed in the future if I ever have to replace fittings,
3. dirt on painted wall can be remedied easily, but not so easy for paint stains on fittings and woodwork.
4. the overall finish looks a lot more tidy and professional when painting is done first in my opinion,
5. IT IS MY PERSONAL PREFERENCE

The only reasonable point here is the last point (5) and this is my personal opinion.

Good evening my people, in finishing stage.. does electrical fittings come before painting? Screeding has been done, electrical fittings and furniture (cupboards wants to commence but painter insists he paints first while furniture and electrician insist they do their work first before painting.

Do you indeed have up to 8kW of loads running off your 4 Pylontech bricks that made you need 10kVa worth of inverters?

If you ever revamp the system, there is scope to do away with external trunking and have a lot less visible cable clutter - since you used a baseboard, all the cabling can be hidden behind it.

Pylon degradation after 5 years - were you charging above 53v per MPP reco or max 52.4v per Victron reco?

If you let each battery run a full charge cycle standalone and then not discharge below 20%, you should be able to fix or arrest the decline.

Meanwhile I have 15 units of Pylon US2000 available for sale in case you or anyone has need - they are 3 years used and in excellent health.

Talking about some installers and items provided, I just bumped into this CC that was installed for, not someone, but an association.

Mind you as an association, pricing and money is not the problem and they tried enough of accountability by forming a committee that looked into the project and have various installers forward their quotations and underwent interview.

I'm displeased and concerned because I am a financial member of that body, though have not had active physical participation for about two years now due to travels.

Apparently, the installer went for the damn cheap/possibly fake items. You should see the names of the solar panels and batteries (flooded LA) provided, you'll be painfully amused.

I will only give the picture of the CC here and withhold pictures of other items installed for personal reasons (has nothing to do with the installer who I don't even know sef).

I have heard of "XtraPower" battery. Didn't know that there is now an iteration of a CC called "XtraPOWFP"

I'd like to commend Valto for his thoughtful ideas in his business, the battery box done for a 280Ah used for a member here was quite rugged and robust in it's structure.

No rickety sounds, all joint very solid and no gap for large particles of dust to enter.

It even held up to 60+ kg body weight and it withstood such heavy weights of the battery, all i can say is well done to him. This is my review of his build, and the circult breaker used was sized appropriately.

There is nothing wrong with MDF. it has its own usefulness.
we find trouble with mdf when we force it to do jobs not meant for it.

I have watched the original YouTube video that exposed the "fraud" by Felicity. What I am hoping to learn is that if that was a glitch (a defective batch) and why were they not recalled like they do with motor vehicles or is it Felicity company policy to consistently and fraudulently over-rate their batteries?
It will add to body of knowledge if an expert like you have done a capacity test on recently manufactured Felicity battery.
