Oga, if you can afford stonecoated roof then you can afford to put columns and lintel on your bungalow!
One length of rod will give you one column of 3m height. You can afford ten columns strategically located. I promise you that you will then sleep in peace. The fact that you are asking this question shows you are already worried about not using reinforced concrete columns.

I am going through same issues right now. So I decided to install the windows and dressed them first before the burglary man takes his measurements.
These issues of measurements are quite common. The owner (if knowledgeable) should have dealt with it.

Like I said earlier, should I get a measurement of a job that says 4 by 4, the alumaco guy will be working with something closer to 44 by 44.

So I personally asked him the contact of the alumaco guy to know exactly what measurements he's working with to avoid me supplying something higher than the measurements. Whoever that makes alumaco windows here knows exactly what am talking about and it's a problem we face as a welder.

This same person I did a standing tank for without compromising on standard, how will I start on windows where everyone will see the size and I will want to cheat?

The alumaco guy in question, I will say is just mischievous and probably wanted to get the whole jobs. I called him today and he told me he didn't speak to the house owner except explain to him how I needed his help. And to think he swore with the name of God about speaking I'll about me I wish I recorded the calls.

Na pillars ooo. I guess na so u will build your house and put expensive roof on it.
My point is if you can afford that kind of roof, you can afford to adequately place enough pillars and beams to transfer the load.
Imagine the weight of the roofing sheets plus the weight of the wood on the walls!

4ft x 4ft is same as 1200mm x1200mm.

I already listed what i received and am only trying to understand why the quotation i receive have a different format.

This is what i received;
Aluminium casement window
4x4 at a price of #40k each
2x2 at a price of #20k

sliding window with net
4x4 at a price of #28
2x2 at a price of #15

This is clearly different from what i have seen here so am only trying to understand the difference in the format. As in 4x4 (chich i received) compared to a 1200x1400 (which i have seen here).

I have never trusted that business. Red flags all over her threads.

in addition to this opinion, if your water level is very high, you can as well make one 1 1/2 meters away from the other one. The can program them to pump at different time.

The issue is not the height. The error is in the design. You are trying to merge the bungalow side with the narrow two-floor side. If u are ready to tear it down then consult a good architect for a better design.
A roof is not just a cover.

If you started this your house April and you are doing finishing already by now that means your house no be Kobo Kobo house.

We the Kobo Kobo house owners start foundation and rest for 8months
set another block, rest for 5 month
finish lintel then rest for 1year
roof the house after 1 year rest for another 7 month
Start plastering and other finishing and house will be completed after 4-5 years. That's Kobo Kobo house

It's different from money that's on ground that you just go and pull out for the project non-stop .

We the poor Kobo house owners frawns at this your post. We know ourselves make you rich people no come dey take our place

I'll take the 3rd but without the red.
The 1st is too plain and dull.
The 2nd will not match the rooms arrangement and overall facade. But will look good with a raised roof
