Used motor oil is carcinogenic. The heat on the roof will react to produce dangerous gasses which you will be inhaling. Don't use your money to buy cancer. People here are giving advice on things they are not competent. There were times you can take advice on this thread to the bank. Not anymore. That was why I was delaying cos I wanted to gather funds for wood work and roofing.. Only to find out now that I am spending more than half of my budget for wood work. The wood in the market were all gotten from the bush. I guess he gave u a very low quotation compared to the market price too. Let's hope u have not been conned. Ask him to return the money. |

Stand there and ensure the quantity you paid for is what is loaded. Follow the truck all the way to your site. Trust no one. I repeat: trust no One. If u don't have time to do these things yourself then send the money, close your eyes and pray. NB: don't start woodwork until u have enough money for the roofing sheets. |

flexyonline: My learning is that battery capacity compared with typical load is the main thing and that then determines number of panels for optimum charging from solar output less usage. Even though my panels are sized for 12KW, the highest solar output I have gotten instatenously is 8.5KW. That is the right way to go about it. Calculated load<battery power<solar panels. Pls what is the estimated cost of your outlay? |

Insisted doors must be delivered first. Meaning out of the #218k , money for doors (#160k) must be spent first.
Therefore contractor would have a balance of #58k at hand for these extent of work.
Contractor applied a strategy that would’ve made it feasible by channeling limited and available fund to basic areas first. Along the line, client demanded refund for doors (88k).
Note-Business or trade strategy is secret, contractor was not under any obligation to revile his.
Conclud for yourself if the above listed work could be achieved with #130k which he agreed he paid for workmanship.
So why did contractor accept the job when he knew it was not worth it? Anyone would have been thrown offguard with sudden demand for refund considering the whole context. This matter wey you carry for your head is baffling. Are you business associates with rotech or you are rotech with a second account? |

The taps outside bring out water with high pressure but the power showers and kitchen rap dispenses water slowly. I mean the pressure is too low. The shower pictures are attached.
Please, what can I do? What is the pressure rating (psi) of the shower? Divide it by 0.433 to get the theoretical height difference of tank and shower outlet in feet. |

I selected a suitable sofa set. They didn’t have any in stock except for the display item which of course I’m not going to buy.
The store wants me to pay a deposit before they’ll bring a new in box one.
Now this doesn’t make sense to me. I can see if I wanted some obscure version that’s not normally stocked.
Is this how yah all do this out here?

Focusmind: But the POP TV is the raining thing now with different disco lights colours battling to outshine each other in the pop TV stand. I don't know why I am always different from the norm when it comes to taste.
For my wife, this is the new decoration in every home now but I am still sticking with my wooden design TV console. U are not alone! All those green and blue and red lights are really a turn off. As I said last time that I will update the house, here we go, straight to the point in short paragraph
The mediation start on 28th/ 29th of dec 2021. After much time on call coupled with sms and whatzap messages with mr brabus. Like 20min, 40min, 30min and so so, the last time we talk on phone was about 80min (1;20min) straight talk, ( I almost get hear problem that day) I also reached MR somehow” through messages etc.
I tried to get two things done. - the amount due to pay back -time to pay back
On the amount due to pay back, MR brabus said he can ONLY pay N1m back based on his own calculation against N2m QS valuation .
Now after much discussion with him (brabus) he said he will do something by adding to the N1m when his head cool down, plus when meet with his cleint one in one to run mind together ( I suggested this to him) Let me say I won this part of battle halve way.
Now to the second one “ time to pay the initial 1m, after another serious discussion MR brabus said the said N1m and is not ready at the time we discussed this ( 6th of January) and I asked when bcs its urgent and he promised to get back to me on the time, but up till now he as not get back to me, I message him but no reply yet.
I always report our discussion to mr “somehow” he do also follow up.
At the moment NO penny as been paid ( I don’t achieved my aim fully on this matter, do I called it failed mediation, hmm No bcs I I gain some I loss some. But generally I get something about life on this matter.
So as it’s now I don’t know if the client ( mr somehow will use another form to retrieve his money back or still go back to mediation. As I will take a small break about the matter and leave it for the cleint to decide.
I thanks MR somehow for his gentility and understanding toward the matter. I also thanks MR Brabus for his time also, I will not forget others good people here who want the matter to be settled amicably.

henrymor: Wow! Thanks for this advice. We used the thickest pipes for the interior. I would have gone for the 280k stand but my budget is very tight and we need to complete the remaining areas of the project and pack there by month end.
If using the normal height with pressure pump will work for me as suggested by the other excellent advisers I think I should follow it. Or what do you suggest? Do the 14ft and save yourself future headaches. You have already made first mistake of using power showers. Those things look romantic but not functional as per your current finances. When I was building my house, the estate design specified jacuzzi bathtub. I ignored it and any form of bathtub. At my age I cannot be lifting legs to climb a bathtub. |

uncleteeh: According to your pics sir, this is a monopitch roof. It isn't a flat one because it has a pitch according to it's name. This is quite affordable and therefore could be what mountmoriah was suggesting.
Very one can check up what "flat" means using "the second teacher"
Flat roof can only be achieved through reinforced concrete as at present, therefore it is a slab and it isn't cheap. Flat roof. German floor. Parapet. Coach. Etc. We use them as defined by brikila. Even PhD civil engineers find it difficult to educate these brikilas. |

I was at window level because I got to know it was a government land and surprisingly he never feel sorry for what he did at the end of the day I decided to sell off the land and recover whatever I can get out of my investment and I told him to sell it off since 13 months ago but he couldn't get a buyer before another agent brought a buyer and I sold the property at a lesser price than my investment.
I paid the guy that brought the buyer and the first agent is disturbing me for his agency fee even when he couldn't bring any buyer and I know he's been charging interested people before taking them to the land and he knew I sold the land at a loss o.
Is he entitled to any payment despite not bringing buyer for the property ? |
