Dear Future naira landers,
I was a quite nairalander on d low. I enjoyed having a good laugh by following ppl like benz 190, baddo Idowuogba, Sweetus oyoyo Yuzedo (prince of banana iceland) okijajuju and many odas too numerous to mention.
I was here! Nairaland was my fortress cos I was outta job even after getting good a degree and serving my father land.
Hope paper qualification isn't emphasised as it was in my generation. I followed only paper and it almost got me grounded. I should have followed my street hustle n sports (football n B-ball) which I was very good at.
Hope it is now more of what u can offer than who u know. (Senator, minister, md etc)

Are u guys reading Chinua Achebe's last book "There was a country"? Is there still a country called Nigeria? I ask because a lot of people r suggesting Nigeria as at this time breaks up; even the world power as at today (U.S.A) predicted Nigeria will be a divided country in 2 years time 2015.
