Indeed Nigeria can surpass Ghana but forget in 6months or whatever. We have been battling for the betterment of this country for the past 50yrs and up till now there is nothing to write home about. Pls say something else.

Most Nigerians feel inferior when they travel abroad as a result of this mindset. They believe the next person is better than they are, they therefore take to crime because their mindset has it that they r not qualified for jobs.

Was it inferiority complex that made many Nigerians home and abroad to engage in crime? It's simply caused by frustration and laziness. Besides many were baptized with the water of frustration from birth and wherever they go, many believe they can never make it life unless engage in evil and illegal activities. It is their belief that is working against them up till today because whatever you conceive with your mind and your heart and spirit can believe in it, then that is what you will achieve.

Please stop making us feel inferior

Nobody can make anybody feel inferior unless you set the standard for yourself. I have seen graduates without job selling recharge cards across the street, some engaging in shoe making and they ended being great pple in life. I have heard story of a graduate lady who refused sexual harassment in order to get a job and she decided to start a small buy and selling business with 5k capital and ended well. Many graduates are engaging in bus boy work popularly known as (bus conductors). Many are doing all these because they don't wanna engaging in crime and not becos of inferiority complex. Is it same inferiority complex that makes many parents to sacrifice their children to rituals all because they wanna get rich? What about many Nigerian ladies engaging in sexual business home and abroad, do we call this same inferiority complex or laziness and greediness?

Let's forget inferiority complex pls and let's address issue in the normal way. Nigeria can never be like Ghana becos we have what it takes to be the best. Only God intervention can turn our situation around in Nigeria.

I am a Nigerian and I have been to Ghana B4, precisely in September 2007. I was there in Accra for two weeks and within these two weeks, I was able to visit a lot of places in Ghana which include Port of no return (port used during slavery) Independent square, katoka Int'l Airport, University of Legon, different beaches and shopping malls and a museum which I could not remember their names.


First and foremost, naija is a better place same as Ghana but the way Ghana developed in a geometric proportion since 2007 up till date is a good example in which Nigeria government can imitate. Nigeria is bigger in size, enormous in population (154,728,892) and greatly developed in crimes channeled by our parents who make it hard to develop Nigeria compare to the small size of Ghana in geographical estimation and population (24,339,838). It's a general bliv that nation’s capitals are exceptionally beautiful in structures and diverse social amenities. Abuja, Nigeria is nice so also Accra Ghana is wonderful but Accra is a wonderful place to live compare to Abuja. 24/7 electricity supply, road network is awesome, citizens are law abiding, low crime rate, high security and less corruption compare to Nigeria frustrating power supply, lack good road network, citizens are above d law, high crime rate at home and abroad, lack of security and corruption everywhere. These are the reasons why you see many Nigerians leaving Abuja, Nigeria for Accra, Ghana.

In Nigeria for instance, we have everything it takes to develop the country but corruption will never allow it. Let's take for example in Jan. 29 2007, Nigeria agreed to supply Ghana 80megawatts of electricity which increased Ghana power supply whereas the Federal capital alone did not enjoy stable power supply. Abuja road network is a little better, come to Lagos and enjoy everyday 10 hours stable traffic jam or travel to south west, East or North through Ore-express way and enjoy 24/7 road blocks by policemen and robbers who extort pple in cash and kind through rape and gunshot. The [size=20pt]picture[/size] below is an example of a situation in Nigeria Lagos-Ore Express way in which women without cash were raped while men without money and women who refused rape were asked to lie down while the driver of the heavy bus was asked to drive over them all at gun point.

Talking about currency, I think Ghana cedi is far better now compared to our Naira. The present cedi was introduced on July 3, 2007, and was equal to 10,000 old cedi when redenomination saw four zeros lopped off the value. Old Ghana cedi code is GHC while the new Ghana cedi code is GHS, the old GHC has an exchange of 1USD to 15,210GHC but at present, 1US Dollar = 1.54567 Ghanaian New Cedi which means 1GHS is higher in value than 1USD, if u think am wrong then find out the current exchange rate for the new GHS to USD.

It's my bliv that Nigeria will be better but I don't think betterment will come soon because those that Nigeria needs for change have all ran for safety in diaspora. Home will always be home no matter the period of time spent abroad and if we do not fight for freedom now, nobody will fight for us. Let us stop making a comparism, let’s come together to find solution to naija upheavals.

I think you are right but notwithstanding many are living across the europe on a legitimate papers with good jobs, it's just that some without papers and jobs can't come back home and they decided to engage in scamming which is very bad while some voluntary travel abroad for scamming business because these days they find it hard to scam in Nigeria with Nigeria internet IPs.

Houston, Australia and London are the three states where one is most likely to find Nigerian criminals. . .

Which tells why more crimes are committed there.

Hmmmmm, now at least I can say some things but first and foremost it’s a surprise that the cock can hold a grudge against the pot instead of the knife that will kill it. I don’t believe suxes2005 can start a thread like this let alone of continuous argument despite his years of combat against scammers on NL and his great impact in achieving peaceful co-existence among members. I might not be actively represented in NL these days but I still take my precious time to read and comment where necessary. What you have started (Suxes2005) is nothing but a replica of scamming tactics. I have known you for blissful period of time and I would love to know you more. I have not been to Malaysia but I read a lot about that place and I have friends there both good and yahoos which I get information from. Everybody knows that Nigerians do not have good reputation in Malaysia due to their high involvement in scandalous activities. When your friend is not an immigration official, I wonder how he will be able to interfere in immigration work of another country even if such person is a diplomat, at least Malaysia immigration will have to do their job first before interference from the third party. Though there is what we called God fatherism among Nigerian in Malaysia and to some extent they offer assistance and connection to one another but do not base on what you are told to deceive people here on NL and don’t be clouded with money rather than truth and justice as emphasized by Justwise. Stand by what you believe and not what you stand to gain. Please I beg of you stay clear of anything that can ruin your reputation. It’s good to do biz but not in NL and in your biz don’t let money take away the truth from you and don’t be deceived by Nigerians in Malaysia. Note: I am not against the fact that Nigerians in Malaysia do have connection even linked to immigration but what of if you trying to help someone and it doesn’t work out? I believe if there is anyone travelling with the right documents and such has fulfilled the requirements of his destination, such will never have problem with immigration officials and that is why it’s always advisable for anyone travelling to prepare his or herself before going anywhere. Who is talking abt security here, the concern of pple is get the right info from ur so called website. Anybody can just design a site for his selfish interest to scam pple but when a site like dt lacks some basic info to help pple in the right way then the so called owner of such site is either fake or lack proper orientation to do a profitable biz. You designed a site for biz purposes and you don't want pple to have access to some pages on it, how will that help ur biz?
