Women compete with themselves on everything; high heeled shoes, brazillian waves, excessive make-ups etc. Most times they do it thinking that it's meant to attract men, but the truth is that they are only competing with themselves. The truth is that most men don't fancy their women putting on excessive make-up and all that, but they don't say it just to avoid appearing rude, a poll here will prove that.
The bottomline is that women always put pressure on themselves for no reason, and later blame it on men, it's not only about marriage.

No be person , tell me twice to go and buy a car. Enough of undue suffering to please a man, cause of marriage, which has more responsibilities that one can even imagine..
It's takes the grace of God, Selflessness of both husband and wife and great conscience involved to create and sustain a happy home... But how many homes , can boast of bliss after marriage... Just few...

How did you know that most women don't enjoy their marriages? How did you know that most would have preferred to remain unmarried and just bear kids if they had the choice? While I have never been in support of putting undue pressure on women to marry when they get to a certain age, your article takes it to the extreme by painting men as some kind of monsters. You painted an image of most men being lazy, sitting down at home while the woman brings in the income and still take care of the kids, how true is that in our society? How many percent of homes do we have women as bread winners? If you hate men or happen to be a lesbian just say it, instead of writing thrash. If you take a prostitute home, you are supposed to pay her whether you touch her or not, except she doesn't agree. Ghanaians are always quick to talk about our electricity situation, but they forget that we generate more than double the amount of power they generate. The difference is that while electricity distribution is restricted mainly to the urban areas in Ghana, there is hardly any village in Nigeria that's not connected to the national grid. We have close to 100% percent electricity coverage in Nigeria, while Ghana, which is much smaller has around 60%. We can easily maintain steady power supply if we limit distribution to cities like Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt alone, just as Ghana does. By the way, power cuts still happen in Ghana, so what's the big deal? People know the truth, don't be deceived!!!
