Foreign AffairsRe: Nairobi Governor Slaps Female Rep After Jonathan Visit by collynzo2(m): 11:52am On Sep 09, 2013
Women and men are equal, this case should be treated like that governor slapped his fellow man. This woman squared up to him for a fight like a man and he responded accordingly. Women cannot be selective with this their equal rights of a thing, if it was his fellow man he slapped, the reaction wouldn't have been the same. Where is the equality?

PoliticsRe: Borno To Demolish Churches For The Construction Of Housing Units by collynzo2(m): 11:26am On Sep 09, 2013
If they really intent to build housing units, then I don't mind. But, why demolish schools also?
PoliticsRe: Mike Ozekhome Released? by collynzo2(m): 11:12am On Sep 09, 2013
Gradually the kidnappers are getting there, Mike is more like the kind of people they should be kidnapping. They'll soon start kidnapping the corrupt leaders and politicians who are holding us backward. Boko haram should also take a cue and live innocent people alone.

guass: At the moment, the Urhobo youths are fed-up with the current high level of MARGINALIZATION, ISOLATION, JOBLESSNESS, HARDSHIP, POVERTY, DESPERATION, NEGLIGENCE, DESPONDENCY, DECEIT, UNDERDEVELOPMENT, ABANDONMENT, DISENFRANCHISEMENT,MISREPRESENTATION,WRONG EMPOWERMENT(if any), BETRAYAL, UNEMPLOYMENT,SELFISHNESS, CORRUPTION, LACK OF INTERNAL DEMOCRACY WITHIN PARTIES, STOLEN MANDATE, LOOTING,BRIBERY, DESPAIR AND IDLENESS.

However, resorting to violence is a mistake because as much as i know:

Dialogue is better than Violence;

Peaceful Protest is better than Pandemonium;

Love is better than Hatred &

Peace is better than War.
My friend calm down!!
marginalization is the same as isolation, joblessness is the same as idleness, hardship and poverty should be the same, negligence and abandonment is similar, despondency and despair are similar, unemployment and joblessness mean the same thing, looting and bribery should be under corruption. Don't occupy space unnecessarily here please.

nora544: the country i live is austria, a small country in the middle of europa, with a very good economic, where most of the peole have work, with a very good health system and we are a christian country.

Our economic is better that the economic in germany but we are only 8,8 million people.
How many Megawatts does Austria generate in total?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Partners Russia To build A Nuclear Power Station! by collynzo2(m): 12:07am On Sep 09, 2013
From a research I did long ago, the only serious and industrialised country that doesn't have coal as its Number One source of electrical energy is France and that's because they concenterated on developing nuclear power stations.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Partners Russia To build A Nuclear Power Station! by collynzo2(m): 12:02am On Sep 09, 2013
nora544: no this is no joke, we realy get our energy from water, and solar and wind and we have only 3 power plant with coal for the winter times when we need more energy but we sell our energy to germany and french.

I live in an small country in the middle of europa. We have a nuclear power plant who was build and we say no to this kind of energy.
Does the country have a name? How industrialised is it?

nora544: We dont have coal, we have only water and solar and wind and we sell our eletricity to other coutries because we have to much, i am proud of my country.

america is not this good country, as it looks.
I hope this is a joke.

People don't realise that gas power stations cannot solve the power problems of a huge country like Nigeria. You can hardly find a gas turbine that produces more than 100MW of electricity. Serious countries have single Coal-fired power plants generating 5000MW and above for them. Relying on gas is a HUGE joke.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Partners Russia To build A Nuclear Power Station! by collynzo2(m): 11:35pm On Sep 08, 2013
I've seen many people put up suggestions here, but no one seems to mention coal. Here is a list of some of the countries that have coal as their number 1 source of electrical power.
USA - 46%
China - 69%
Uk - 42%
Germany - 41 %
South Africa 93%
Poland - 87%
Australia -78%
Kazakhstan - 75%
India - 68%
Israel - 58%
Czech Rep - 51%
Morocco - 51%
Greece - 54%

In summary almost 50% of electricty in the world is gotten from coal power plants, we can't pretend to be serious if we don't harness coal energy.
With alternative sources of energy like wind, solar, hydro, gas, nuclear all in place, a country like USA still generates almost half of its electricity from coal, that should tell us something.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Partners Russia To build A Nuclear Power Station! by collynzo2(m): 11:14pm On Sep 08, 2013
ghananotnaija: A nuclear plant needs a lot of water, and the North of Nigeria is rather dry.
Almost All our dams are situated in the north. Ignorance

As for those rambling on about Gas turbine, how many gas stations produce more than 100 MW of electricity? How many do we need to solve our electricity problems? Serious countries like US, China, Germany, South Africa, UK etc do not rely on gas for electricity, coal is the way forward!
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Partners Russia To build A Nuclear Power Station! by collynzo2(m): 9:50pm On Sep 08, 2013
Coal still remains the no 1 source of electrical energy in the world, we should focus on developing coal power.
