Bandit C.:
Why anybody would compare any SW state, including the stench filled Lagos State, to Enugu is beyond me.

It is inconceivable, odd and down right laughable.
Only someone who has never been to Enugu will do that. Enugu is heaven by Nigerian standards, one of the few states where the infrastructures are working.
PoliticsRe: Enugu Is One Of The Poorest States In Nigeria. by collynzo2(m): 1:14pm On Sep 15, 2013
The OP saw his state 'Ekiti' at the bottom of that list and ignored it to point at Enugu which is much above it. Enugu is one of the most beautiful, organised and developed states in Nigeria.

Since Super sport will be showing it, the leeches are likely too hook up. Moreover it's a political event with 3 governors attending, so I think they will show it.

Go and check the number of petitions your compatriots have written on Nairaland. Always threatening to leave the site as if the site's traffic will come crashing once they leave. I am just sounding my warning so that no foolish moderator will ban me once I start.
These are just 2 of the many petitions your compatriots have written.

SportsOrji Uzor Kalu Wants Nigeria To Face Cameroon In Play-offs by collynzo2(op): 10:59pm On Sep 13, 2013

While Nigerians are still weighing the strength of their possible opponents in the 2014 World
Cup qualifiers, former Abia state governor
Dr.Orji Uzor Kalu says Cameroon is a foe the
Eagles wont fail to vanquish.
Kalu is not placing assumptions on Cameroon's
recent poor form but rather on the Eagles zeal to revenge from the humiliations they have suffered from Cameroon in the past.
Kalu said that out of the three Nations Cups that Cameroon won against Nigeria only one was genuine while the other two were gifts from referees. “Bring on Cameroon. Time for pound of flesh.
These new Eagles are giant killers. They have what it takes to nail teams that tormented Nigeria in the past. And if there is one foe that must be vanquished for good, I pick Cameroon,” The Sun quotes Kalu. “Yes, they [Cameroon] won in 1984. But in 1988,
Mauritanian referee, Idrissa Sarr dashed them the Cup, when he dubiously cancelled Henry Nwosu’s goal and gave Roger Milla a penalty kick. Then in2000, the Tunisian referee punished Nigeria for beating his country in the first round,” Kalu added
. While Kalu is seeing Cameroon as an affordable prey in Pot B, ex-Egyptian international Mido has tipped that Nigeria will be a good opponent for
Egypt, who like Cameroon will be drawn against

Liverpool is more like it. They haven't won the EPL since it took on its new format in 1992, just as Ghana hasn't won AFCON since it became a 16 team competition.

I know a highly placed team on that list who hasn't won that trophy for over 3 decades, who won the trophy last when only 8 teams participated, who won 2 out of its 4 trophies when only 6 teams participated.
SportsRe: Why Do Nigerian Players Born Abroad Refuse To Represent Nigeria? by collynzo2(m): 9:03pm On Sep 13, 2013
Ghanaians are not complaining about
Welbeck (Man utd / England)
Boateng (Germany / Bayern)
Balotelli (AC Milan / Italy)
These are top Ghanaian players born abroad, playing for top clubs and national teams. Here we are crying about 3rd rate players that aren't even supposed to make our team. LMAO
SportsRe: Why Do Nigerian Players Born Abroad Refuse To Represent Nigeria? by collynzo2(m): 9:00pm On Sep 13, 2013
BellaDonaFema: The answer is simple.Nigeria doesn't have their best interest at heart. These players are used, exploited, depleted and degraded (their strength and time milked dry).
There's little or no welfare for the players, as opposed to their other countries of citizenship.
Nigeria needs to buckle up or else the world would pass her by and snatch away all her talented citizens.
The foreign nations have juicy offers and those fat carrots danggled in the player's faces are hard to resist.
Need I say more? Cheers
How many of those players mentioned are playing in the national teams of the countries they were born in? They are mostly 3rd rate players, except Alaba.

South Africa is the armed robbery capital of the world.
South Africa is the murder capital of the world.
South Africa is the HIV/AIDS capital of the world.

Lakotai: WOW! After all these I have read, it seems like naija artistes have to rethink their music career op
It's no longer news that Nigerian musicians make their money from shows and endorsements. They make only very little money from album sales.

spongeback: I see or hear a song I like, I look for it on YouTube ====>Convert to Mp3======>send it to my phone via iTunes,I know I can't "like" all the songs in an artist's album so YouTube gives me options.
why not search for it on a site like www.mp3skull.com ? Converting a video to audio usually gives a poor quality audio. You wouldn't know until you download the audio version directly.
Music/RadioRe: Do People Still Buy Music Albums? by collynzo2(m): 9:44am On Sep 13, 2013
I only buy Albums of some kind of songs that don't have large online presence. I bought Slowdog's album recently because some of the songs cannot be found online.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Switches On Street Light On Iyana-ipaja Road And Its Inner Roads.( Pics) by collynzo2(m): 9:34am On Sep 13, 2013

BusinessRe: Africa’s Richest (from Nigeria) Land In Nairobi. by collynzo2(m): 9:28am On Sep 13, 2013
Tolexander: The list isn't complete. Where are the other rich men?
Are they not mentioned or the refused to attend?

It is good to be squeezing the less powerfull countries in africa like south africa is doing to us.
South Africa is not squeezing us o! Those people are actually doing well for us. See what supersport is single handedly doing for our local basketball and football league. It's almost as if they are running a one man show to being them up to scratch. Our basketball is now shown all over Africa, our football league is gradually getting there. FA cup final between Enyimba and Warri Wolves will be shown all over Africa in HD. I see our local league becoming more profitable in 2 years time, thanks to them.

Sometimes try to write marturely, with normal punctuation marks, correct spellings and decent grammar, you have never done that in your NL history. Even nursery school kids don't write like you.

Kingmojo: How is that limited to nigerian men. Most Well to do Africans wife dont work, even at home they have maids to the housework for them.

Why do Nigerians think they are unique? Fact, most Nigerians are just like every other Africans.
Shatap! In Ghana the men are the ones who stay at home wearing their big wrappers while the women go to work. Women even pay dowries to marry men in your country.

But why is he charged for terrorism? Even the whites who make these threats, then pick up a gun and carry it out in movie theatres and schools are not labelled terrorists. They call them mentally unstable people, how is this different?

A homosexual talking. Do you know how many people are ready to kill you in Nigeria? You are not wanted either.
PoliticsRe: Lawyer Sues FRSC Over New Driver’s Licence by collynzo2(m): 8:15am On Sep 12, 2013
When these people need money, they bring up one extortionist policy or the other and award the contract to their colleagues. I remember when they came up with that reflective sticker policy. People were forced to buy the rubbish at an exorbitant price and place it at the back of their cars. How many cars still have those stickers today? We need to start protesting some nonsense. Why not just issue the new drivers license to those whose licenses have expired until the old one is gradually phased out?
