Inflation in Turkiye is at all time high (one of the highest in the world), especially high housing cost.. cost of rent have more than quadrupled in 2-3yrs..

Within 3yrs, my Istanbul 2bed flat rent increased from 2,000tl (N36k) to about 8,000tl (N240k) per month. Same with Gas bill and transportation cost.

I had no choice but to leave the country.
