You have a point, but I've also ridden trains abroad with fabric seats similar to what you have on aircrafts. Most of these plastic ones you've shown are for intra city, which won't be very comfortable for longer inter city trips.

Shows there is scope for a few more malls in lagos. Left to me if I had money for development I'd turn the existing grounds of national stadium Surulere to a shopping mall and amusement park with plenty of rides and greenery, while still maintaining the spots facilities like tennis, volleyball, basketball etc, but not the main bowl. Lagos needs a proper amusement park.

She didnt mention anything about the fact that decline in oil prices means that weshould be spending much less on subsidy as well. The budgeted amount for subsidy which should now be too much should be re directed to other parts of the economy. A gallon of oil in the USA as at 2 weeks ago when I was there was about $2.50, which equates to about N108 per litre. So at N97 we are not subsidising much anymore.

My neighbour who just got smile in pH confirmed speeds as fast as 18mbps, but says it averages are about 12. Speed wise, smile seems to be the best.

Something isn't right about this report on Stallion motors. There is no fanfare, no pictures released to the press by the company etc. Even their website makes little reference to this! if I were the public relations manger of the company, this news would be all over the place, with pictures, journalist tours of facilities etc.

Unless of course, they aren't really assembling anything and the whole thing is an elaborate scam. Knowing Nigeria, anything is possible!!

The incompetence of the Jonathan led government is shocking! If i were the campaign or media leader of the APC, I'd be bringing our all of Jonathan's failures and missteps and flooding social media with it against 2015, which isn't too far away anymore.

double3: Coal is not a clean source of energy,any mega project involving burning of coal to produce electricity is not ideal in this very 21st century. The world is going green therefore we should tap into the green economy as well.

Coal is still responsible for about 50%of the world electricity, so why shouldn't we take advantage of it also!

I think I agree that it might be more of a mental thing. Lane placement probably didn't help too. Nothing like running right next to shelly to make you increase your speed. But all said and done, those are all excuses. She just didn't perform when it mattered most.

Told ya! Poor performance by Blessing when it mattered most! So sad for her though. She looked distraught. I think the poor start let her down and she panicked rather than just run her race. She didn't even come back strong in the last 30mtrs like she normally does.

Dont be too sure about Jeter. Sure Blessing has beaten her afew times already this season, but some athletes are championship performers. I worry that Jeter will step up, while Blessing freezes, though to be honest Blessing should be feeling more relaxed having won a silver yesterday and she's been really consistent in her sprinting. I am touting her for at least a medal and to lower the African record below 10.79 again cos the babe will have to run the race of her life today. Hope she gets a decent start too!
