All i can see here is a nice business opportunity. Making huge futunes out of unfortunate situations. With rate of deaths recorded in recent times, i'm considering venturing in the casket/coffin making industry. Don't u think it'll be a wise decision? |
I think your choice of word "quack" is a bit harsh on the entire medical practitioners except if the Dr/hospital is not certified by the appropriate bodies. Inasmush as doctors often make wrong diagnosis, that does not make them quack. Such mistakes abound in every profession even abroad. I feel we should pressure our govt to increase funding in the health sector. Thats where the major problem lies! |
This is a welcome development. Its not just about reimbursement but regular supervisions. Customers are indeed exploited by these banks. Imagine paying a service charge of 2k for the purchase a form that costs 20k from a bank! |
I have the most beautiful backside in this world but i'll rather not expose it in the name of sagging! Hey! Don't peep! |
Who then committed such selective decimations? But, i have been wondering while #MOBI 40 generated less public outcry & interest than #ALUU 4? NASS for eg never at anytime mobilized to protest the dastardly killings unlike in the later? Has it anything to do with the social status of the victims involved? RIP to the dead! |
This goes futher to confirm the ineptitude and lackadaisical attitude of security agencies in Nigeria. Proactive measures would have been taken to avoid degeneration of this crisis to this level. Nigeria is a jungle! Violence is visited by futher violence & the vicious cycle continues unabated. NEMA i guess will be getting ready with relief materials as usual. SMH! |
I am getting more addicted to Nairaland with each passing day. Like Jose Mourinho would say, "Nairaland is a top top news forum" With such an innovation, i declare Nairaland "The Only One". I am proud to be part of this community of great minds and pace setters! *Hit'em up* |
Nigerians are indeed losing their minds! A middle aged man this morning committed suicide by jumping to death from the 8th floor of federal secretariat complex in Port-harcourt. Quite a gory sight! |
If u truly believe this story/pictures, then u can believe anything. Reasons? 1) Those men in army uniforms are not Nigerian soldiers. They look rough and unkept. 2) Nigerian security forces don't strip suspects naked when arrested. (Recal Cynthia's murderers arrest) 3) There are no Nigeria Police in the pix. They should be making the arrests & not these fake army on slippas. 4) I didn't see any gun on those security men. 5) The security men seem unserious. 6) Looks more like an induction exercise/test! |
*So sad* Weeping for motherland! Its been a tale of tears, sorrows & blood all over the land! *BOOM OF THE DOOM* |
For u to hav asked dis question means dat u're ready 2 move on! D pains of ur loss hav eased, now u're emotionally & psychologically ready 2 live a normal life. Goooo! seek & u shall find another. (wetin killam sef?) |
Dey de Germany de sing "runaway" for that famous hospital. U know na? |
Flogging a dead horse! |
Advice plenty na? U must marry from ur church even if it is not God's will! Only marry rich persons from ur church because d jobless ones will never get job nomatter how hard d try! Don't marry from another religion, God will slap u! |
PH-Aba road is a death trap! Aba-Umuahia road is a nightmare! Umuahia-Enugu road is like a trip to hell. Enugu-Onitsha road is an abandoned project! Our govt, past & present are collective failures!! |
Just recently, at one of the parks in Onitsha on my way to Aba. I watched with keen interest as three suit-wearing and bible-clutching men compete amongst one another the first to pray for the occupants of the buses b4 their departures. Then, one came to our bus and prayed for forgiveness of sins, for success in our various endeavours and also for journey mercies. Amen! We chorused at required intervals. Then he asked for money to finance his good works for God. He left for other buses to win more souls (for himself i guess) and then another came with an even more powerful lines of prayers. Again, we (they) made contributions for his services. This style of money-making by such "prayer-peddlars" has worsened over the years. Their modus operandi vary, for eg, one may board the bus along other passengers. He preaches, prays and collects his revenue on transit and then alights at a given junction making way for another of his cronies to join the bus as the journey continues. This "disguised" begging business must be very lucrative especially when one considers the risk involved and skills exhibited by such practioners. Some time ago, I equally saw some physically challenged (if truly they were) persons on their wheel-chairs lined up at the middle of the Niger-bridge express way chasing after motorists moving at top speeds for alms. The list for such begging excesses abound! Initially, i'm usually dumb-founded whenever i come across these brazen displaya. But on the realization that this is Nigeria where anything can happen, i now look at them in awe! Have u witnessed any other begging ploy? Pls share ur story. |
kavey10: as ur I.D depicts, u ar one woman I dnt wanna have! U ar more lyk a control freak, well on d 2nd thought, I knw hw 2 handle ur type well. SILENCE AND PATIENCE WILL DO THE MAGIC!That way,it works 4 both of us. I'll not 2 cheat on u but take good care of u. |
190:Except the dos & don'ts of our r/shp were not drawn ab initio, then i can 4giv such trespasses! If not, then pouring the right quantity of acid on the right place will settle our case. No one dares me cos i hardly show my emotions! |
ifihearam: There are rules to be a player, your heart MUST not be given to any lady, just do your thing you knowSuch rules may not apply to every lady especially my type. If i can't get all the desired attention from my hubby, then i know somthg is fishy! Eg, if u're not there 4 me 24/7 during festivities like Xmas, New yr, St. Valentines, Easter, Independence day, etc....then who would u rather be with? |
Ranks007: What's d essence of keeping 3 or more girls. Its always tasking, a distraction and waste of energy. Rather, I choose to peel them as they come, other guys gfs so to speak.I can't agree less with ur strategy. Its better to indulge on flings than keeping & attending to the needs of many girlfriends. U'll end up being unstable & disoriented as u try to meet up with ur obligations to them! |
Guys are smart but ladies are smarter when it comes to keeping multiple r/shps. I've seen it all during my days in campus but its not somthg to brag about! |
[quote author=kavey10]Sorry, wat truly hurts? His attitude or his "3rd leg". I'm kinda Confused! His 3rd leg hurts more! I not joking. |
He is too quite & homely. Does'nt socialize & taunts me for making new friends. He has a massive 3rd leg hence too active on bed. It truly hurts! |
I relieved no casualties are recorded! I don't want any such bad news to spoil my mood. I'm really watching an exciting maatch here! |
fankasibe: dis is bullshit talk, i don't care if he looses her, the girl is already lost without any home-training. Beauty of a woman is in d inside. Why would u care? U're not the person involved in this case. Have u been truly in love? Love can be crazy. It conquers all! |
U're lucky she's beautiful and loves u dearly. Hey! Don't push her to the wall. Employ a chef & a maid to cater for her inadequacies. Or do u want to lose her? Women should be pampered afterall. Loverboy! |
"The soure says she will be back very soon" Who is this "source"? I think this issue is over-hyped by the media. The President's position is "my wife is resting". I think we have to respect that. The media were awash recently with the news that Omatala's husband was sacked by Air Nigeria which she promptly refuted. The truth is that sometimes these "sources" are wrong but we wound'nt want to hear that and we make immediate conclusions. |
U sound lik our new generation pastors by giving me hope. Thx though. |
I'm really touched by his creativity. I wish to be suprised in an ever smarter way someday. Lol! |
