**I just heard this news on COOL FM PH now** The Rivers State commissioner of POWER was on saturday abducted by unknown gunmen while on accessment tour of the flooded communities in Rivers State. Dr Rotimi Amaechi, the Rivers State Governor has directed the state commissioner of Police to fish out the abductors and ensure that the commissioner is released safely. This is unbelievable! |
Its a good decision but more heads should roll! The Rivers state commissioner of police is guilty of derelicton of duty and should also be sacked. He was complacent in averting the mob killings and even more negligent in avoiding the reprisal attacks/arson by the students. The police must be alive to their responsibilities because that is the only way the public shall have faith in them. |
Clearly photoshop! But d woman luks lik a high prophetess of d cherubim & saraphim order. Dat guy must be 4 a sacrifice...Lol |
As we condemn these cases of kidnapping and other acts of criminality, it is pertinent to note also that the police are always quick to respond when highly placed individuals and their families are involved. This is the bane of justice system in our nation. I wish that every individual nomatter his/her social status can be treated equally! |
It seems nobody is rooting for the "uneducated class" in Nigeria! Does it mean that if u can't express yourself in English, then you don't have anything good to offer even in your mother tongue? I beg to differ! The literates have "dethroned" the illiterates in almost all aspects of life such as trailer driving, pastoring in churches, company security men, cleaners in banks, village kingships, politics, herbal medicine practice and recently, the laptop clutching native doctors! #GiveThemBackTheirLives.......Hunt them no more plssssssss. |
This calls for sober reflection! What really is responsible for the alarming increase in price of garri and other food commodity in the country?.... The boko haram menace? The ravaging floods? Govt policies? Nomatter which, it goes to show the need to invest heavily in agriculture. If this "food insecurity" degenerates futher, then we should all brace up for the worst......more public lynchings of "food robbers" are in the offing! |
I can now breath a sigh of relief because those boys were not criminals afterall! May their souls RIP. As for the police excuses... SMH! Is tear gas that costly? Just tired of this Republic of Incompetents!!! |
Reasons? "Special centres" @ SSCE/GCE exams, "Sorting & impersonation" @ university level, "Catchment centres" policies of JAMB, "Educationally less advantaged states" principle of NUC, "Federal character principle" and above all CORRUPTION! |
This ALUU massacre has turned quadratic ooo! Equation. . . . . . . . . (2) |
Politics is not clean and so are politicians nomatter their affiliations. I'm not suprised Rochas is show-casing those negative political instints under APGA but rather i'm bemused by "the kettle calling pot black" propaganda of the ACN and PDP. Just recently as was rightly reported, Lagos stood still because Patience Jonathan(PDP) came visiting and a worse scenario replicated when Bola Tinibu(ACN) celebrated his billion naira birthday. Abeg, all of una na the same people! |
Its natural, the passion diminishes with time. At the early stage of marriage, in our freshness, we want to bare it all. The curves are there to explore irrespective of such inconviniences like the little space in the bathroom. Then "monotony" sets in, why bother since i've seen it all, the men will say silently. Its not even as attractive as it used to be....honey, go take ur bath i'll join u later.....and he'll never come! |
Some folks are making more headlines than boko haram recently. I fear boko may want to reclaim their notorious position. JTF take note! |
She was rushing to Port-harcourt for the ALUU MURDERERS case! Abi una no want speedy trial? Nawaaoo! |
Its a pity corporal punishment is still allowed in our schools at this age and time, but that is not enough an excuse for the invasion of the school by thugs who had a field day bashing the teachers. Lawlessness everywhere you go! But come o, Oba grand children suppose de study for abroad na? Nobody go flog dem dia lie lie!! |
"...complete the training programme at Union Bank learning academy..." Does Union Bank train other banks recruits? The bond agreement is very harsh on bank workers and should be condemned. |
Ur question is more of a puzzle because its difficult to place what actually defines an achievement in marriage...Status symbol? Happiness? Wealth? Children?...the list is endless. One should be more concerned with fulfilments in marriage which ofcourse are personal goals. But hey! Marriage is blissful if u find the right patner. |
See trouble oo! Na every matter court go hear? If the lady insists on a car b4 marriage, then let marriage scatter na...end of story! A lot of ladies out there will be willing to move in without a car. I volunteer to replace her dear groom! |
U don't need a crystal ball to confirm our now acclaimed status. I saw it coming! A high number of graduates are unemployed and even a greater number of illiterate youths are roaming the streets. Kidnaping is now the most lucrative and sought-after course in the "university" of criminals. I can't remember the last time my pocket was picked, petty thieves have upgraded to this ivory tower! *Singing which way Nigeria by Sonny Okosun* |
Total removal of fuel subsidy will be a good riddance to bad rubbish! Nigerians have suffered more under this guise. I hope the NLC and TUC will support GEJ this time round because the picture is clearer! This will signal the end of artificial scarcity and hoarding. The POWER sector should be next! |
Israel has always handled her enermies well. Hezbollah is stale news and Iran will never be an exception. |
mxxpunkxx!:U're on point! But the "Nigerians are illiterates" is unnecessary biko! |
yeye4live: dis will tell u dier is more to writing than makin dat money it self , money pass knowledge ,4me which means not every one wit so many certificate can make mone more dan an average illiterateI guess u're commenting on another thread. Read again nwa m! |
MTN- everywhere u go. |

I can't miss ma EX who nealy gave me AIDS cus he luvs a lota S*X. Right now i dey VEX! |
Leemak: 40 laptops whether u like or not Dame Patience Jonathan is coming back to Nigeria in 'casket'......i dont give a damn!Casket? Nawaaoo |
This issue has been over-flogged na! It sounds very funny as some of us are here praying for her to get well soon. Patience is resting and not sick according to the husband, we should accept that for once. Or must we only listen to sahara reporters version? Thats not fair! #LEAVE.PATIENCE.ALONE |
The rampaging students are as GUILTY as the ALUU community in this situation. In a civil society as we claim to belong, nobody takes the law into his hands. Murder, Arson and Armed robbery are capital offences and must be condermed in all ramifications nomatter the reasons or justifications(Revenge). If we support this, then we invite chaos and the vicous cycle of vengence in the society! Again, we should not judge the entire community for the actions of a few persons. Let the law speak! #STOPJUNGLEJUSTICE |
Hey! Stop it! U're putting me in the mood after enjoying ur sweet moments. Take more drinks whenever a guy comes around u ok... |
GTBank is the sexiest bank in Nigeria. Less hassles always! |
Civil service is not run like private owned businesses. Protocols are observed in its administration. If the teachers erred by being absent from work, then they should be queried so as to hear their own views b4 actions are taken. What if any of the teachers is involved in an accident or carried by the ravaging floods? Our leaders should not turn dictators. |
I blame our govt & not the police entirely. This is because the Police is poorly funded & ill-equiped in combating both criminals & mob actions. In other countries, as i have observed, the police is supplied with proctective head gears, transparent hand shields and batons when confronting riot situations and not necessarily guns. Here in nigeria, the police even defuse bombs without any special gadget or proctective gears. Everything must not be shoot! shoot!! shoot!!! *Kill'em all* Noooo! The last time i checked, tear gas is not as expensive as guns. It would have been used to disperse the crowd. But the question is, do they really have tear gas? |
