Ijaya123:Lol. What are you asking sef? There were both stories of great men in the Bible that had both one wife and multiple wives. Take Solomon for example, nobody don near him record....700 wives and 300 concubines, yet God called him wise. Why God no vex kill am? Or kill David instead of hailing him by calling him the man after His heart? We all know the story of Abraham and Haggai. I don't think that it is the number of wives a man marries that is the issue with the world. |
Skyview01:Abeg relax! Buhari performed very well as president. We all can see evidences in the 2nd Niger Bridge, Bonny-Bodo Bridge, Lagos-Ibadan Railway, Apapa-Oshodi-Oworonshoki Highway, resuscitation of fertilizer blending plants, significantly enhanced rice production, facelifts of key airports, increase in national minimum wage, signing of FID for NLNG Train 7 project etc. |
Manigie:Buhari was way better than Jonathan. A few landmark projects like the 2nd Niger Bridge, the Lagos-Ibadan Railway, the Apapa-Oshodi-Oworonshoki Highway, a section of the Onitsha-Enugu expressway and the Bonny-Bodo Bridge / Road project eclipse everything Jonathan ever did in Government. It took a Buhari to complete the Zik Masoluem Jonathan started. It took a Buhari to complete the Regional Water project in Ogbia, Jonathan's own Local Government Area in Bayelsa. He couldn't even keep the power he got on a platter of gold due to his crass ineptitude and legendary docility. |
Manigie:Believe whatever you like. Facts don't lie. Buhari has the multibillion naira 2nd Niger Bridge, Ogbia Regional Water project, Lagos-Ibadan Railway, Warri-Itakpe Railway, Bonny-Bodo Bridge project etc, to show, what does Jonathan have? |
Manigie:Lol... Which man is Jonathan? A man that failed abysmally in governance. A man who embodied and represents the sum total of collapse and leadership ineptness of Nigerian leaders at the highest level. A man whose people had no portable drinking water, but couldn't complete a regional water project for his people, even as the Head of the Federal Government for six years, a project that was valued at less than N5billion, yet his wife completed her over N10billion Aridolf Hotel in Yenagoa, within the same period. Jonathan was the biggest failure in the Nigerian leadership landscape. A docile, deceptive and extremely corrupt human being with a satan-like innocent mien. He had all the opportunity in this world to help rescue this country, but never did. He has no moral right to speak badly about Timipre Silva. It was he and Yar'dua that institutionalized and legalized the issuance of rewards to rascals, vandals and bloody criminals in the guise of a presidential amnesty program, which also became a veritable conduit for corruption and the mindless enrichment of a few unscrupulous individuals. While I also think similar of Silva, however, he certainly has not had the same amount of opportunity as Jonathan. Those two men have failed Bayelsa, and especially Jonathan, who failed Nigeria, and indeed the entire black race. |
Urheadmaster:Buhari delivered on the 2nd Niger Bridge, among others.... No use Buhari take joke with me o. |
StreetFight:Abuja go shock Wike o... Wait and see.... Fulani people, quiet and deadly retired military officers and senior civil servants go use Wike take shine. Make we just sidon dey look... |
successmatters:Your proof that it was rigged. |
ahnie:And what is wrong with divorce when things have collapsed irretrievably? Does any wife need to be corrected or advised on the necessity of honouring her husband? Who dey advice them before dem begin call their pastors daddy upandan? No let woman kill you o! |
garfield1:Oga, yes world cups are the biggest ratings but they are not individual honours, as ballon d'Ors. However, we are talking individuals. |
garfield1:More this, more that... How about more ballon d'Ors; how many more Champion League trophies? how many more IFFHS awards etc... |
LegendHero:11500 CNG buses for use across the country as from next month... If well handled well by the states is a significant succour. Tinubu will likely perform. |
Oneloveyo:You dey mind the guy? Hate don make many of them loose their minds.... |
mokwechineme:What you wrote on Soludo is arrant nonsense. Same applies to Hope Uzodinma. Uzodinma has a responsibility for security of lives and properties. Why didn't you comment on hoodlums attacking and killing security operatives? You expect the governor to sit and watch abi? I am from the Old Aguata Union, OAU, just as Soludo. First, you started with a mindless lie that the Ekwuluobia Flyover commenced over a year ago. The flyover actually commenced in March this year. I attended its inauguration just two days to the State Assembly Elections. The said flyover is way more sophisticated than the three existing flyovers in Awka, it will include a modern vehicle terminal, fire service facility etc. Why didn't you inform the public that Soludo has recruited 5,000 school teachers and that he is currently recruiting another 3,000 teachers across the State? What about healthcare workers that are being engaged? As we speak, primary healthcare facilities in the State would soon start witnessing upgrade and extensive rehabilitation works. What about the one youth, two skills initiative? The Solution Innovation District scheme? See as far as I am concerned, you criticism is not constructive. I am almost certain that it is the same regarding Dapo Abiodun. I didn't want Soludo as governor initially but I must commend his efforts in governance thus far. The popular Unizik temporary site road in Awka is currently being dualized, among others. Now, it takes just about 15 - 30 minutes to connect Awka from communities like Umunze, Ajalli, Ufuma, Awa etc. There are critical road projects currently ongoing across the State, with several already completed, including in the LGAs that make up Omambala. If there is one area Soludo needs to step up, then it is security in view of enhancing the economy through investments and industrialization. |
Zionmdde:It is not a new message. The messenger's genuineness having benefited from the anomaly negatively impacts the message. Fighting corruption is the bigger issue. |
[quote author=CoolAmbience post=126545045]I am not against reforms. However, Jega himself was appointed by a president and he took the job. He should have rejected the job at the instance to drive this advocacy. The issue with INEC or any institution in Nigeria or elsewhere isn't about who appointed who. The human factor always plays a role in these things. It is about capacity to deliver, it is about giving the right people the opportunity to turn things around within the institutions. Endemic corruption is one huge factor too. On another note, I wonder why Jega is saying this now. The current INEC has not exactly failed in its mandate. |

stunnert:Oya, carry the open cheque wey you win go withdraw money for Central Bank... Mtchewww. |
DodadaKoKigbe:Lol... Nwannem, come back from that path you are going. Nahu tawa! |
chiefolododo:Your vision isn't complete until you specify a timeline. As for me, I do not see him becoming Nigeria's president, anytime. From the Igbo extraction, Umahi stands a greater chance. Another individual that could appeal easily to different parts of the country is a one time Minister of Information and National Orientation, Dr. Chukwuemeka Chikelu - an outstanding fit for an Igbo presidency. Orji Kalu's past gross non performance as Governor has ruined his chance of ever becoming president. Okorocha's lack of tact and wisdom was his greatest undoing. These are two men with profound Northern backgrounds and connections to become Nigeria's president, including Maj. Gen. Ike Nwachukwu (retd). Peter Obi is too pretentious, petty and plays too much to the gallery to be president. He is too divisive to be Nigeria's president. He was the Governor that entrenched Catholicism the most in the governance system of Anambra. The 'yes daddy' episode with Bishop Oyedepo only gives an inkling of what I am saying. That is how he goes about yes daddying Bishops across Anambra and the Southeast. How many teachers or healthcare workers did he recruit as Governor? Was it not under his watch as Governor that doctors were on strike for the longest period in Anambra's history? I will personally chose a Willy Obiano as president 100 times ahead of Peter Obi. Charles Chukwuma Soludo is even a better candidate for an Igbo presidency than Peter Obi. Soludo's only problem na oversabi ( to give am advise dey hard), otherwise his workrate and attention to quality delivery of services and infrastructures to Ndi Anambra is unmatched. Go and trace roads constructed under Obi, they are almost all gone. Obi served more as the Governor of his Anaocha Local Government Area than as Anambra Governor. As Anaocha Govenor, he was excellent, but not as Anambra Governor. His performance as Governor of Anambra State can best be described as average. Obi is someone that will use close friends and relatives to offer gratifications to people and come out to tell you he doesn't give shishi. Several projects executed under Obi's watch as Governor were done by his siblings and close friends, including the massive Government House catering services contract by his elder sister, who owns a popular bakery in Awka. His deceit can't work. Na una e go dey deceive, no be people like us wey no wetin dey. |
Kingsnairaland:Did you even read what was written? Nawa for you o! |
Nonny95:Sheer sychophancy! With all those security operatives glaringly following him, you still want to push the narrative that he walks about freely... Who told you Peter Obi didn't steal from Ndi Anambra? |
StOla:You dey mind am? We keep promoting double standards and nurturing wrong perceptions and mindsets. I am from Anambra State. I am certain Obi couldn't have won Tinubu, especially with Atiku in the ballot. Everyone who understands the ABCD of Nigerian politics knows that Obi and Atiku simply shared traditional PDP votes. When we talked about structure. They said it meant nothing. What then made Obi to leave PDP at the dying minute to join LP? Someone that was restored as Governor on two occasions within eight years, yet people still think that our entire judicial system is nonsense because he lost his first presidential contest? This makes no sense to me. |
greggng:Did you consider that, on the other hand, the lawyer may not have done a good job at the tribunal. I am talking from experience. |
victory36:Exactly. He should be given license, straight. How many cases have the so-called licensed lawyers won? Na by license? |
jrusky:Abirun! |
jrusky:Lol.. Childish! Rant all you want. I have said what I said. Go ahead, make yourself stupid. Abi, me and you dey share phone or data? |
Jestin:What did Soludo do here? Flood kills everywhere. Even Soludo would have been swept away if he got in the way of the flood. It's really a sad development. She could have just left the wheelbarrow. It was a grave mistake. Such a pity! I witnessed the flood in Awka on the day. It was massive and fell fences. They could have secured their wheelbarrow and other stuff early before the rain got out of hand. The water in the drainages didn't automatically morph into a devastating flood. It took some time to swell. I genuinely sympathize with relatives of the deceased. |
jrusky:Perhaps you should cut off your own mouth and shove it into your pocket 'cos this is a public forum. Genesis ko, Revelations ni..... |
Saviourplease:What you receive as salary is way too low in comparison to what your company is willing to invest in your short training. That is a glaring red flag. With such disparity they'd believe that you could decide not to return after the training. Are you married? Do you have any history of travel? |
